Excellent parking. Wacky Warehouse for kids. Reasonably priced. Good quality food. Unfortunately following our visit today no ice for drinks, carvery was cold and unappetising. Definitely the worst meal I have ever had here.

**Fantastic Pub Dining Experience at the New Florence** My recent visit to the New Florence for a pub meal left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. From the moment we entered, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the food. For the main course, I opted for the steak, and it was cooked to perfection—juicy and flavorful, exactly how I like it. What truly made our experience exceptional was the attentive service provided by Manager Glen and his team. Glen's attention to detail and friendly demeanor ensured that everything ran smoothly throughout our meal. He took the time to check on our table, making sure we had everything we needed and ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of excellent. Overall, the New Florence exceeded my expectations in every way. Delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and outstanding service from Manager Glen and his staff made for a memorable visit.

Luke served me at the carvery station, very polite and nice to speak.

Good pub with good locals. Touch pricey but got all the sports u want unlike alot of greenking pubs in this area

Always a lovely place to come, it's becoming a go to place for everything such as sports, food and even social drinks. Good local pub, nice atmosphere and it's super family friendly, the Wacky Warehouse is a great place for the kids. Outside area woth park and big TV is the only place local like it. Staff are always spot, Glen in particular makes everyone welcome.

Please note that during weekdays there is no carvery between 14:30hrs-16:30hrs this is not mentioned on their website. Great food and tasty beer.

If you're ever unsure of where to go for a carvery, this is the place to go to... I highly recommend it! The food is amazing, the prices are good and all of the staff are super polite and helpful. It is a comfortable environment for catching up with others aswell as solo visits. A big thank you to all the guys who work hard in the kitchen and on the carvery. You guys are amazing!

Friendly atmosphere for drinks and sports. Lots of space outside, and a BIG TV set up for football. The manager Glen is incredibly friendly and offers very warm service.

All staff very friendly, nice food, nice place to meet with freinds and children for a drink and food. Reasonably priced and nice and clean. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff. Thanks for a lovely afternoon 😊

Booked a table for 6 on 15/6/24 on the website the options were for dining and drinks and euro football , I clicked dining and drinks . When we arrive we were told we had only booked for drinks which was impossible because it was not even an option.(we were accomdated) The pub was busy and loud so we decide to book via the table qr code , unfortunately there was no option to order a carvey even a staff member could not do it . The food was okay some of the fried chicken breadcrumbs were over done and crunchy but edible. Overall okay but nothing special.

We had a lovely celebration here tonight for my mums 80th birthday. The buffet food was lovely and the staff were so helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Thanks so much for everything, my mum had the best time. 😊

Staff are friendly and helpful the food was good but only had big Yorkshire pudding

The food in here is absolutely disgusting. We've been a few times as our little'un enjoys the play area. Ordered food a few times and it's always 2/10, today it wasn't even that, 0/10. Vile! Absolutely vile! That's the last time! It's not even cheap!

We had a lovely meal cooked and served by Luke the most polite chef I've ever met.... the barmaid Courtney was run off her feet but managed to smile and make everyone feel welcome. It was so busy but Melissa found the time to serve us accurately and made us feel so welcome! The manager Nick was mucking in with his staff and they found the time to light birthday candles for my daughters cake! All round lovely experience we will come again and I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.... Well done New Florence

Lovely food lovely drinks and nice for a day out plus attached to a wackywarehouse so you can send the kids in there if you want.

I attended a birthday party for a young boy there.. everything was perfect.. both indoors & outdoors playgrounds are very amusing & the kids had so much fun there.

Bar service slow.Ordered ultimate mixed grill.Could not do it no steak. Another order fish and chips. Sat waiting about 20 minutes then told there was no fish.So I ordered tex mex loaded chips. guickly .It came was rubbish.Very small portion and tasteless.Two of the meals out of 4 were OK. Very disappointed.

Went for a lovely meal here with the grand children Friday Afternoon. Then went to the wacky warehouse, kids loved it . And a big shout out to Lizzy/Libby(sorry if I got this wrong ). Entertained the kids and pleasant lady.

Went wacky and wanted play pool with older lad was told we can't because he not 18 even though he played 2 weeks previous so bit confused

Called in this afternoon for a meal with my family. The pub and restaurant and staff worked so hard to serve everyone and at all times ensured the service and quality of the food they delivered was excellent. Staff were polite, friendly and engaging. Thank you so much

Coffee was made from a Coffee Bag - Despite having a pro coffee machine - Ref Breakfast - Mushrooms were all dry and clearly from the day before - Sausages were not browned and ineemic - Very poor -

Wouldn't recomend as the cavary was not up to standard the beef was far to chewy the collyflower was hard and wasn't very warm at all this place was very disappointed 😑 I wouldn't visit it again

Popped in to watch football. Friendly staff and people, had some good food, all around enjoyable.

Walked in and greeted with a smile and a bowl of roasties. Lovely atmosphere throughout. Glen gives nothing but 100% effort to all customers and such a lovely bloke. Much love.

Nice welcoming pub and a lovely carvery. Called in Sunday and despite being very busy we were found a table in the bar. Food so good we went back the next day and had another splendid feast. Small carvery with a whole heap of well cooked veggies excellent value at less than £6. Thanks

Too many kids are running wild whilst parents are having a good time. Not my place, food was lovely, though, good value for money. Should have an adult only area, not everyone wants to listen to other people's kids screaming!. Could do with a good clean, and regular table top cleaning and sweeping of the floors. Alcohol, Sunday premier football, kids, and pissed adults don't mix!

A very nice meal carvery good choice of meat and plenty of vegetables The staff were very helpful and did anything they could to help as they could without being to over the top.

Awful service, staff showed no interest at all. We had cheese pie with the carvery. Very little filling , if I’d closed my eyes could not have identified what I was eating. The pastry was so hard the knife couldn’t cut into it. Not pleasant.

Nice place to take the kids so they're entertained but the food and service was OK... We attended on a very busy Sunday so that may have contributed to some of the issues. The best thing was the selection of vegetables on the carvery, very good choices ☺️ and good value for money.

Booked on line for Mother's Day. In the week got a telephone call asking for a deposit so my table could be reserved. No problem paid the deposit. Set off hungry looking forward to a lovely Sunday lunch only to be told when we got there someone else has sat on our table which my I just say was reserved for us with a deposit taken. We noticed on each table reserved was a mother's day card with your name on and states reserved. So we were shown to another table which they hurriedly cleaned. Don't know what they clean their tables with but they are left all sticky and your hands stick to it and your sleeves. Tables reserved had table napkins and cutlery set out. Our cutlery and napkins were put in a what looked like a painted plant pot and shuffed on the table. May I point out at this stage there was no apology for letting someone have our table. The girl who showed us to our table just said you have an hour and a half. We paid for our carvery,s then and went to get our food. Well what a let down. Instead of having nice slices of meat cut you got bits of meat. The cauliflower cheese was hard and you couldn't taste the cheese it was too dried up. The mashed potato just stuck to the spoon so was difficult to get off and the roasted parsnips had no taste. Needless to say half mine was left. So we thought we would have a pudding. We have sticky toffee pudding. It looked like chocolate pudding with a toffee sauce and my friend said hers tasted as if it was burned. It had a funny taste so she left half of that. And to top it all they advertise outside for alcohol free Guinness and they hadn't got any so all in all we didn't enjoy our time at Florence and certainly won't be going again. We will go back to Hem Heath which is also a Greene King pub but with much better food.

I brought my kids to play in the wackie area bar staff and warehouse staff were absolutely amazin nothin to much for them Emma b was fabulous with my kids and nothing was to much for her

Went for a birthday meal, half the table got there food after about 20 minutes the other half didn't get theres for an hour. Asked how long it would be and the waitress was rude and said it was because we ordered separately. Don't know why that makes a difference when we ordered it at the same. The English breakfast was overcooked and oily, looked like they had just warmed it up from the morning. Steak was literally black, instead of the medium we ordered. Wasnt even that busy.Throughly disappointed, probably won't eat there again.

On an overnight stay in Stoke so asked the locals where is good for breakfast. They sent me here and I wasn’t disappointed. Breakfast was fantastic, the place has a great vibe and Matthew is fantastic. Couldn’t be more helpful

We had our daughter’s party at the weekend in the wacky warehouse. All children loved the experience and Cay and Ty both made the party go off without any issues. From when we walked in to the food timing and bringing out the cake the children enjoyed their time and made it very enjoyable for us as parents we had nothing to worry about. We want to say a massive thank you to Cay and Ty for doing a job well done

I'm not normally one for leaving reviews but I have been coming back here in between night shifts over the winter. The reason I keep coming back is because the mixed grill is amazing. I like steak medium rare and it comes out absolutely spot on every single time. All the meat is cooked to perfection and the egg always has a nice runny yolk! The portion size is good and value for money. The service is friendly and polite and the food comes out always much sooner than I would expect, even when they are busy. I don't have any negatives.

Called for a quick one little boy likes a slush we call for one quite often with living round the corner went to wacky as people still in couldn't serve me as closed so went the bar asked them for a slush can't as the wacky shut and they don't have a button on the till ? The slush machine was behind the bar not so long ago so asked if I could order on the app and they fetch me one but they still couldn't serve me one want be calling for another next time

Food was good. Gravy especially. Price of drinks is very high. Especially soft drinks. I was the driver and my cokes were horrendously priced. Not fair.

We haven't been at the new Florence for a while but have come tonight for a change. Jamie and Glen was very welcoming and Jamie sorted us a table out straight away. We all had carverys and it was very nice, there was only beef and gammon on offer which my son prefer turkey or chicken so he was gutted that this wasn't a option for him. We ordered pudding had to wait a while for these but I knew we would as the pub was very busy. My daughters pudding came out wrong which Jamie sorted out straight away for her and was very apologetic about the mix us. All In all a lovely meal and friendly staff

Second time I've been here and both times very pleased with the food, well cooked but sometimes the meat can look a little dry, but for value for money you can't go wrong. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Popped in for a drink after work and was made to feel very welcome I enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was marvellous. Top marks..

Went today with mum food cold sprouts not cooked very chewy,roast potatoes horrible meat was about the best all the food had got a horrible taste, 😫 not been for a while as it wasn't good then thought it might have improved but no,not going ever again spoilt my mums day

The food was terrible the chips was cold buns for the burgers were stale and the carvery was really disappointing and the refused to let me order a child's meal deal cus they didn't have enough selected drink for them will not be going there again any time soon I was very disappointed

A breath of fresh air. We received a warm welcome, ordered 4 carvery dinners and drinks and the bill was a pleasant surprise. The venue is warm with a pleasant friendly atmosphere. The carvery is excellent value, not mean with the meat and a large selection of fresh vegetables,. Cakes and pudding's available at a very reasonable price. table's and seating plentiful and comfortable, staff friendly and well informed.good free car park. We will most certainly use again. Well earned five gold stars.

All of the team who were at work at lunchtime today were very confident, and attentive, we were served promptly and all the food we had was hot and tasty. Emma and Greg had got control of a very busy service

Booked a table for breakfast, ordered drinks which took an age to arrive. We went to que up for the buffet breakfast ony to have a massive que. Whilst waiting people were jumping in front of us. Staff were seemed not to care less. If i could give minus stars then I would!!!

We went with friends for the Christmas carvery. it was all very well cooked and was piping hot. Great selection of real ales 🍺

Breakfast with Santa for Christmas Eve, atmosphere great, Santa walking round chatting and jolly with all. Food great and excellent priced. Would definitely do again. Well done to all the team

I really enjoyed it at the beginning of December and I'll be returning soon.

Food takes ages here and it usually arrives cold. It's faster to order food and drink from the bar than it is from the app. I managed 2 pints by the time my no-so-smug-now friends recieved their drinks via the app order.

We did breakfast with Santa, special shout out to Victoria and Santa, both amazing with the kids. Lots of interaction. Overall not perfect, stood waiting outside till 10 past when it started at 9, but after that no issues! Would come again. And the kids love the wacky!

Once you get there food was really good they had every thing that our party of 14 ordered my one big issue is no-one ever answers the phones or calls you back even when you leave a message this is not a one off this happened for several weeks.

Staff were very good, food was very tasty. Would recommend.
