Generally Good. Not cheap but worth it.They cooked the food in their own way but really cooked. Far more better than a lot of restaurants that using factory food or prepared food. So respect them and will pay a visit again.

Unbelievable find on the edge of the City Of London. Been coming here for years. Brilliant food for lunch or dinner, great value and great service!

I just had an incredibly delicious meal with my family here. From the decor (traditional Chinese) to the hot plate tables. Service was a bit slow at the beginning but was immediately followed by an attentive waitress. Food tasted very fresh and bursting with flavours and spicy. The Chinese tea topped it for me. I must also mentioned the neatness of the rest room, with accessibility option. I will recommend this place anytime.

The food here was amazing and authentic. I had myself a chinese hotpot with my friends and it was so delicious and packed with flavours. This is by far the best chinese restaurant i’ve been to. The service was on point providing me with information of each dish I questioned and how things function with the hotpot. The atmosphere was lovely and lively making you feel right in place and comfortable.

very speedy and nice service. the staff were lovely and the food arrived quickly and AMAZING. delicious is an understatement for how flavourful and mouth watering the hotpot was. my brother was picky but the dimsum arrived quickly and was steaming hot and very soft and tasty. would definitely come back the prices are affordable and the meal itself is so filling. the atmosphere also was so traditional and as someone who’s chinese, it felt so much like home. overall, the whole experience was wonderful and we felt so comfortable and satisfied with the service and food. i truly recommend this place everyone who loves chinese food or anyone who’s interested in trying so tasty traditional chinese food! 🤩

Unpretentious restaurant just off Old Street with very tasty and reasonably priced Cantonese and Szechuan dishes. It's not large and can get quite busy so worth booking online. Decent wine selection.

Pipa Tofu: It’s amazing to eat Pipa tofu for the first time. You can also make tofu in this way. It’s crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There are shrimps and mushrooms that make the tofu delicious. Spicy hotpot: Her spicy hot pot has a lot of ingredients to choose from. I chose pork belly, potatoes and lotus root slices. The potatoes and lotus root slices are all deep-fried and seasoned to be spicy and delicious. Sauerkraut and fat intestines: The sauerkraut is crisp and tender, the fat intestines are elastic, and the taste is sour and appetizing. It is a great dish to go with rice. Golden prawns: The shrimp meat is fresh and tender, with a golden crispy skin wrapped in salted egg yolk and decorated with gold foil. The shrimp meat is firm and the egg yolk is rich in ingredients. It’s so delicious. 😋A delicacy that cannot be replicated. Grilled fish: The fish is charred and delicious. It is also paired with a variety of vegetables and seasonings and goes well with rice. Rice dumplings made with fermented wine: The chef’s method is very traditional and Chinese. The small dumplings are soft and glutinous and are made by hand. They have a faint aroma of wine and are very suitable as dessert after the meal.

Went for light lunch by myself , only got crab meat sweetcorn and 2 dim sum prawn and chive and sui mai. Both portions had 3 bits which looked presentation wise nice. Taste was good all round. Good taste good but for 3 small.things price was £22 which I found steep for 3 things 1 soup and 2 small portion of dimsum. Service was good as there was only 3 people in the restaurant. Next will try a main dish which are roughly 11 pounds upwards

The taste is very good. Deep in an alley, the location is relatively hidden, but the taste is very good. I came here two days in a row. On the first day I ordered spicy chicken, fish-flavored eggplant and mapo tofu. They tasted very authentic. Especially the spicy chicken, the chili is very fragrant, the chicken is crispy but not spicy, and the seasoning is just right. It can be paired with rice or beer. The next day I ordered pork belly, chicken soup and grilled fish. The pork belly and chicken soup is very delicious. The addition of wolfberry makes it more delicious. It is very appetizing and warm. The grilled fish is also very crispy and comes with many side dishes, including broccoli, bean sprouts, potato slices and lotus root slices. There was a little too much thickening, the potatoes and lotus roots became sticky and soft, and the fish felt a little greasy due to too much frying oil, but overall it was pretty good. You can pay with Alipay/WeChat, and the boss lady will give you a discount.

Ordered a "roast duck rice" for lunch. Turned out it wasn't the Cantonese roast duck I expected from Chinese restaurant. In fact, its deep fried duck, in tiny portion with overly sweat sauce. This is a cheap takeaway standard, definitely not restaurant quality.

Just found out there is a Chinese restaurant and I ordered a signature 干炒牛河 Pan fry Beef Noodles, that requires some skills to cook it good and the chief made it!! It was delicious and not too oily, definitely will come back again!!

Very authentic Chinese food. The waiter spoke very good mandarin and the owner knew how to speak Cantonese. Food came out quickly and the waiter was very nice to us. However, the tables are a bit close to each other, allowing other people's conversations to intrude into the atmosphere. Other than that I've only got good things to say, I like the aesthetic of the restaurant, very easy Asian and the food reminded me of when I used to eat out at Hong Kong

I would give it 0 star if possible. To start with the service, staff were very rude and not very welcoming at all. I went here with my 3 young children. The food was the worst I ate in my life. It was extremely salty and dry, it didn't taste fresh. Despite the salty and spicy food and we being one of the few guests, they didn't offered us any drinks. My children grapped their own water bottles. Avoid this place at all costs.

All the dishes I ordered here were perfectly seasoned and very authentic (my mom is Chinese, so I can vouch for this)! One of my favorite dishes was the Beef Ho Fun, a huge plate of noodles with plenty of pieces of lean, extremely tender beef. Another was the Fragrant Spicy King Prawns, which definitely lived up to its name (particularly the 'fragrant part. I found the fried potato slices in this dish to be particularly delicious. In addition, I also found the interior of the restaurant to be very welcoming with its red lanterns and festive lights!

AVOID If YOU CAN! I tend not to write sour reviews, but this one turned out to be exceptionally outrageous. Let’s talk about the food first. They advertise themselves to be Sichuan/Szechuan food while their dishes have nothing to do with it. Real, authentic Szechuan cuisine should never taste this sweet and greasy. Don’t bother to try them unless you want garbage food filled with tons of sugar and oil! And not to mention the horrible service. We tried to be nice all along, while the waiter and waitress there only gave us bland reaction in return, in a way that makes you feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. When we finished dining, they tricked my boyfriend into making payment without seeing the bill first. It is extremely unprofessional for a restaurant - you’ll never know if you’ve been overcharged!

We went in for hot pot. The ingredients were not fresh. What surprised us most was if you can’t finish your food you had to pay for £15 per head AND you are not allowed to keep the food you paid for. Presumably they can resell the leftover food which may explain why the food ingredients were unfresh. In their defence they did say in small prints abt the punishment but never mentioned that you can’t keep the food you paid for.

Really nice and native restaurant! We highly recommend the beef stew with potatoes, grilled fish, aubergine, and chicken soup with pork belly, and the tables in the restaurant heat up automatically, so the food doesn't get cold even if you eat it slowly. The portions are large and beyond expectation, definitely not the perfunctory Chinese food!

HENG HAO!!! The food was fabulous and the staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable and having spent time in PRC, very authentic. I would recommend this restaurant to others and plan on returning when I’m next in London. Enjoy.
