it's after 10pm and our food still has not arrived.

Food was an entire hour late, and there was crackers missing, not happy.

The order came late took 2 hours to come after we ordered it and we didn’t get our free item when spending a certain amount

food was more than 2 hours late. told twice that it was out with the driver. absolutely shocking disgraceful that they take your money and treat u this way

will always order Chinese from here it's the best in the area no bad reviews will recommend it to my friends and family

Absolutely horrific , waited nearly 2 hours due to being busy . The crispy beef was tasteless and crispy wasn’t the word. Save ya money and don’t bother

Rang twice to see where my order is and kept being told its waiting to go out with the driver was delivered 2 hours late and was freezing cold

Tad disappointed with our Chinese tonight the chicken curry wasn’t the best, certainly not on par with the usual.

Absolute joke ordered at 6:30’as a treat 9pm still not here…. Never again

Spot on I'll be ordering from here again, the chicken and broccoli in gravy is lovely, my son son said the spare ribs are the best ever.

Food was abysmal at best, we ordered through just eat, request no veg but everything came with veg and a layer of thick grease, the rice was stodgy and still dry, chicken was stringy and barely in at all, the only thing that was good was the banquet box which was good

Food was warm and over 30 mins late, even after phoning them it took another 20mins with it sitting in the shop waiting for a delivery driver, the order had been placed over 2hrs before they delivered it

food here is always on top form lots of flavours. never once had a bad experience staff are really good also.

ordered a banquet box meal with satay sauce and spring rolls food was on time hot when it got here and again the food was awesome lots of flavour. hats off Amanda and the staff they do a really good job.

Nice food as always but just shy of £18 for chicken balls, chips and curry is to expensive so unfortunately that was my last order

Absolute garbage. Munchie box was mainly chips and battered slop, duck wraps were mostly cucumber. Egg fried rice was decent for 40 odd quid and they sent the wrong sauce but decent amount . Delivery was quick though, well done driver.

time was 9 15 for delivery then changed to 9.45 then I sent message to see were my order was at 9.55 they said 10pm my order came at 10.10

Food doesn’t taste as good as it normally does couldn’t have much before having to go to work as it was late and had to go to work after 5 mins if it getting here

The delivery was highlighted as out for delivery and did turn up 30 mins later when it was scheduled too and the food wasn’t hot. Other than that the quality and taste was good.

Average nowt special and poor just eat service as states delivered 35 mins before arrival

ordered at 8 and then waited till half 10 then finally got in touch with the restaurant and was told it wud be another 15 minutes and it's currently 14 hours later and still no food, this place is so bad, really would avoid ordering from this place if you want to actually eat

Chips were cold and tasted soggy

Alot of burnt chips, pancake rolls were swimming in grease and curry was incredibly bland

This is the only Chinese I will order from when I come to stay at peterlee. But was a little bit disappointed with the egg fried rice tonight, was very dry and sticky. Everything else perfect as usual just a little let down with the rice

My favourite Chinese takeaway by far. I've never had one complaint about the food a d I've been using this place for years.

My beef curry was cold and my boiled rice was a bit soggy but the rest of the order was ok except the chips

again used this Chinese restaurant and the food was really nice. its the best Chinese restaurant I'm the area hands down

The szechuan beef and prawn was spicy, full of crunchy veg and really tasty. The chicken curry was watery with a slimy texture to the chicken, and chips were cold and soggy. I loved mine, my wife binned hers without eating more than one taste. I'd definitely have the szechuan again, but we won't use again as a family.

Delivery was over an hour late, Food was 'warm' and not hot... Not the best experience from New Century

The food is terrible the prawn toast is paper thin the crispy wantons are soggy the crispy beef is just tough beef and the curry is watery the wantons just have munched up fish inside I'm not happy a

Tonight was our first time ordering from here, we won’t be returning. It wasn’t enjoyable and most of it went in the bin.

The food again was on form and the service from the staff was brilliant love new century

Wouldn’t eat there again, not good customer service as every time we rang, it was like our number was blocked. So had to use others phone. Said the food was going to be leaving in 5 mins when in fact it didn’t leave until 20 mins after that. Just not good when paying for a service.

Worse chicken balls and chips ever had

Great food. The salt and pepper chips were fresh, the vegetables nice and crispy. The garlic sauce was phenomenal and the prawns and chicken balls were cooked perfectly. Would definitely come here again!

Meal not as nice as usual, chips were hard and dry, prawn crackers tasted stale and chow me in no where near as nice as it usually is, overall disappointing to say the least!

We had the King Prawn and chicken curry with chips.The curry was delicious with SIX king prawns in it ,but the chips were the best crispy on the outside and soft inside.I will definitely order from New Century again.

Rib meat really hard, chicken balls had soggy batter, chicken pieces too hard and overall all the foid was just say warm. Not worth half the price paid. Worst Chinese I've ever had mostly went in bin.

Bland and very disappointing. Wanted something simple so ordered sweet n sour chicken balls with fried rice and chips. Small amount of sauce that had no pineapple, rice was dry and tasteless, chicken balls a bit soggy and undercooked. The dog seemed to enjoy it though. No effort at all so won’t be ordering again. £15 quid with delivery btw. Only positive was a polite delivery man and it come early

Delivery was 7.35 to 7.55. Rang 47 times and was informed food was on way and would be hot. This was 20.33. Still waiting lady on desk was supposedly going to ring driver. It is now 20.37 no call back and no delivery. Food arrived cold and delivery driver informed me only him delivering.
