Nasty place with appalling service.

Try it once you will come back thousand times. I’ am a picky person when it comes to food. They provided excellent service. We had super delicious doner kebab and salad, and drink, really unforgettable. It’s way better than any other restaurants.

They’ll sell a ‘lamb kebab’ then try to serve you a sweaty doner that’s come from the storage container and not fresh.

The best kebab shop on Turnpike Lane, and that’s a guarantee. Excellent doner and huge portions for a fair price, served by genuinely nice blokes.

I have been eating at this place since my UNI days and its remained the same. Not cheap anymore, but after a drinking night out still can rely on the Lamb Doner here to hit the spot. Keep it going guys easy on the pricing or you will loss customer. I only get the Lamb Doner here after alcohol intake no salad. Guys you may lose your trade mark cheap and tasty Turnpike Capital

AVOID!!! restaurant used to be great now with the new owners and after what I saw I would avoid. I decided to dine in when I saw the chef go to the back light up a cigarette in the inclosed food prep area, after smoking he came back not washing his hands to continue serving, then the other chef (short guy) went for a smoke all of this is indoors and where they prep the food, after smoking he walked in to their walk in fridge took a bucket out and started skewering lamb shish without washing his hands, then the waitress walked in and had smoke while he was skewering, he rinsed is hands without soap literally to take off the marination. They are breaking so many food health violations it is scary.

Horrible worst lamb donner ever

Ordered 2 skewers on pita, the chap took out 3 massive skewers and I said 2 was plenty. He took 2 from the display and obviously I thought he was cooking both but oh know 🤷🏽‍♀️ U think we were lucky if we got half one between us, Pita and as straight from packet to plate and not even warm.

after coming to this shop since 1994 I was disappointed to see how they've finally become shown their true greed for money. Over the years they've increased their prices and I still kept going but last week it was the final straw when they increased the price and reduced the portion size. I instantly told the staff I've been coming here over 25 years I'm not going to take this meal. Absolutely disgusting.

Comes back after few years paid £20 for 2 meat and chip with a drink,food was so oily it ruined the whole meal, meat with good quality it was a let down, disappointing

I have been buying Kabab from this place since late 80's, over the years the business had changed hands many times but food has been consistent. But on my last visit I was going salads which contained lost of water which spoiled the Kabab and made it cold. ☹️

Food terrible and portions small

My bf and I just stopped by on our way back from a David Rodigan gig and we were SO impressed with the delicious food we’ve just had. Best chicken donner I’ve ever had.. plus the service was super quick and friendly. Looking forward to our return!

Kind staff, amazing halloumi pita

Tasteless and cold for mine n my partners plate. Was like they ran it in the microwave from the night before. The starter was nice(bread &houmus) couldn’t finish main food barely touched it and we paid full bill after complaining. Wish I could rate half of the star :)

No skin and bone,straight to the just enjoy, Awaiting time of about 12 mins,you can pick Salad toppings,. Selection of sauces and fresh lemon juice if required that's a rap thank you

Worst experience ever and won't be ordering from there again!! Ordered a FAMILY special which was worth £40 and recieved barely anything - NOT FAMILY SIZED PORTION! and when I tried to call them up they hung up the phone on me. NOT WORTH IT!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! I ordered my food to break my fast with my family at 8.10pm but did not receive anything until 10.10pm! Not only was this 2 hours late i had to argue and fight with the workers at this restaurant to send me my food! When i called the restaurant at 9pm after having waited almost an hour and worker tells me he has sent my food a while ago and his job is done and maybe my brother picked up the food when I don’t even have a brother!!! The worker was exceptionally rude never experienced this kind of service in my life!! He cut the line on me twice and I called back numerous times and he finally said he will call the driver and update me, however I got no call back. I had to then call back again and demand my order or a refund to which he said he cannot do either and gave me no options. After calling back again for the 5th time he finally said he can send half of my which which equated to £30 when i order over £50 worth of food. I told him to refund the remainder but he was not having it and said he ran out of food so he can’t do anything. After arguing some more he finally gave a chicken wings meal as a replacement to the adana kebab meal which was less expensive. When the food came after 2 hours it was old, dry and tasteless. Complete waste of money and time. Never ordering from deliveroo or this restaurant again!! STAY AWAY!!!

Its surprising how hard it is to get a decent 'take away' style doner around turnpike lane. Ie, tasty meat with nice salad in a pitta. New capital is the only place that succeeds. I've tried the other ones near the station and they don't come close. Go here!

The original Halal kebab shop, I've been coming here since I was a teenager, and for this shop to be still around, they have found the secret ingredient to great customer feedback. The quality of the meats are amazing, the taste and freshness is evident upon your first bite. Highly recommended.

Absurdly huge portions, very good kebab!

Really bad service, asked for a plate and the waiter blew up on me. Food was ok though.gave us a used plate. Never experienced this kind of disgusting behaviour before.

Nice kebab shop that has been around forever. They serve really generous portions, especially the chicken doner. In fact a small chicken doner wrap is huge and will seriously fill you up. Decent chilli sauce, not the best but not the worst either. Salad is rather uninspired but this is only a minor gripe. The service won't blow your mind but this is a local kebab shop with great food and decent prices, you can't go wrong.

Very unpleasant staff and i ordered two kebabs but when i arrived home there was only one in the bag! So better check when ordering take away.. and i was waiting ages as well..

3stars are for the quality of food ..otherwise lack of communication with customers ..staff dosent understand english ...ive ordered on phone for 12 pounds box but someone there told me we just have 9 pounds box so ive ordered ..then i called them again to get the postcode ..that was night mare ..they dont know their post code and finally one guy answered but don't know what language he was speaking ...Thank God he called one of english customer who spoke to me '' in english'' .... Things dosent come to end ..when ivreached there the bill appeared to be 19 pounds..and they just said sorry our guy dont speak good english ...so i endup paying 19 pounds ...but thanks to them being generous that if I don't have enough money i can pay later ..but I didn't accepted that offer cause i had enogh money to pay my bill ...but food was very nice , exellent ...but expensive
