Amazing cooked breakfast and really friendly staff

Great staff breakfast well worth the money everything spot on

Sadly the chips I ordered tasted stale, so I had to leave a lot of them.

Chips are nicer...lovely food..

I am really fussy when I have chicken curry and rice but this was lush just enough has I don't eat much , grandson loved his beefburger and chips and hubby said pie and chips were lovely next time he will order small of chips we would give 10/10 rating

Edit update: have gone to 1 star as thankfully I forgot I have reviewed before and was coming here regarding their £6 delivery to travel 1.4miles! Bullet dodged tonight! Sausage was barley cooked and mushy, this was a "large" chips and they put our cold bottled drinks in with the food so we have cold food and warm drinks. Very disappointed first and last time ordering from here. There are MUCH better chippies than this one in Caerphilly!

asked for the sauces to be packaged separately, they weren't. by the time they arrived, the chip buttys were just a pile of soggy goo.

never arrived but said it was delivered had to send a notification to just eat hopefully I get a refund.

First time ordering from here. Delivery time on just eat kept moving back. Ordered for 7pm arrived 7:45. I ordered 2 cod and chips. The chips were lovely however, the fish was like a pair of sprats in paper. So not worth the money and too much batter. Shame as love a chippy dinner now and again but I won’t be ordering fish from here again. Sorry.

Was on time but food has really gone down hill paid £6.90 for the fish and it tasted like a frozen one you would get from the supermarket. wouldn't recommend

Eaten from here loads, always great quality and really good prices. ordered chicken curry, rice and chips. there was no rice in the order, barely any chicken in the curry and the sauce was really greasy. the other parts of the order were great, as usual.

Chips were greasy and soggy, fish wasn't crispy or golden it was pale and soggy. Curry sauce was delicious though! Workers are friendly and polite, portions sizes are good and prices are reasonable.

Gone Down Hill big time . Fish batter was undercooked and soggy . Plus half the size it used to be . Actually I know prices have gone up so I can accept the size difference. Just cook it properly at least. Golden batter , not white and stuck to the paper. Sausage and batter was nice. Fish cake was dry, hard and over cooked . Chips weren’t anything to shout about either . Shame as this was my go to fish and chip shop. Won’t be returning unfortunately

Chips are over cooked an scabby spoilt our meal didn't expect this especially ordering so early at before 5pm

unfortunately food arrived cold, as this was the 1st order from this place, it was not a good experience , this is the first time on just eat that food has arrived cold and had to heat it up, such a shame as the fish was very good

Googled for a fish and chip shop and come across this establishment and after seeing the reviews decided to give it a go and was not disappointed. Food was excellent - the fish is beautiful and some of the best Irish curry I've had! Staff also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Whence the food arrived it was freezing cold the chicken breasts like they come out of fridge .have ordered with them before food was ok then but on this occasion very poor

Used to be one of the best chippys about. Don’t know if they have got new owners lately maybe? they forget my drink every time almost without fail, the gravy for the price is tiny enough but they gave me a small when i paid for a large which would have been no issue but then opened it and the whole thing more or less was just this rubber consistency most of it ended up in the bin.

The main item was missing from the order, left hungry and disappointed

Food is ok, portions are insulting for the price charged, ordered drinks and was sent cheap lemonade tastes like mouthwash! Not being mean just honest opinion.

Fish was very poor. Cold and the batter was very soggy swimming in greese. However did get a refund on the fish. Over all. Not the best.

Food came almost inedible. It was one big sloppy mess. It smelt and tasted like damp including cans, paper, chips and fish ect. Absolutely horrendous and I will never order from here or eat from here again! £15 worth of food straight into the bin.

2nd order as wrong order was delivered so had to ask for refund then reorder driver needs to look at the address to make sure it is correct the food when it arrived was excellent drivers fault not the fish shop

Delivery time changes 3 times, food wasn't hot and sticking to the paper. Paper wrapped around chips was ripped, curry sauce as gloopy, tray meal was squashed and leaking. Very greasy and a lot of waste.

Potion size was really poor! Jumbo sausage was the size of a party sausage and the chips were just more than a handful but taste was nice to be fair.

Driver did get a bit lost but was very apologetic- that being said the food was still hot so obviously fresh leaving the place - portion was a fair amount and it tasted lovely

The food here is always fresh and the fish cooked to order. Its incredibly clean, the staff are always friendly and you're greeted with a welcome smile. Great little chippy xx

I to am a driver and must admit this is definitely one of the best places I have to collect from. The girls are always happy and cheerful. Some drivers need to realize that sometimes food as to be cooked fresh and it takes time. The girls always let you know if you have to wait. 90% of the time you walk in and everything is ready for you. I have seen the cctv of the last drivers comments. You were way out of line with your comments and you caused your own problems that day.

Used to love this chippy but forgets things regularly and forgot my gravy tonight no point phoning as even if they gave another it would be cold by then. Gutted as this is my fave chippy in town but going to pot like the rest

Very disappointed with the food quality. Greasy cold chips, sausages and fish cakes. Curry was also cold, all had to be microwaved but were then barely edible.

Shop owner was abusive to me. Maybe because I am Muslim and the current issues in Palestine/Israel have made them angry towards people of coloured skin. Came here a couple times and they don’t treat you the same as white people and seem to look down you us. But maybe it’s a Caerphilly thing as there isn’t much diversity here. Really bad experience. Never experienced this abuse in my lifetime. I’m not going to sleep for days ;(

Everything was freezing cold. Chips just tasted like oil and were rock hard like they had been cooked multiple times. Very disappointing would have been better having frozen chips.

What is a chicken curry tray? Apparently it is chicken curry in a container, not served with chips as every other chippy in Caerphilly serves it. Apparently as the customer I should've known that and when passed onto someone else when calling I got asked what do you want, customer service is obviously not her fortay. I suggest you change your wording on your menu as I'm guessing I'm not the first or last that will complain and change your staff as they are very rude. I will never order from here again.

I use to use this chippy like literally 5 times a week 🤣 but lately your food have gone down hill the chips are so disgusting over cooked and hard all the time gravy is thicker than Moisturising cream please fix this use to be so fresh
