We had such a lovely experience at Nero Pizza in Barnsley, thanks to the amazing service from Daniel. He was incredibly friendly, spoke so kindly with my daughter and my niece, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. To our surprise, he even offered us a free dessert, which was a lovely and generous gesture. We tried to give him a tip multiple times to thank him for his excellent service, but he humbly refused every time. It's rare to come across someone so genuinely kind and dedicated to creating a great customer experience. Thank you, Daniel - you truly made our visit special. We'll definitely be coming back.

Great pizza with fresh ingredients and a crispy thin crust. Relaxed atmosphere and excellent service — Daniel was super friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely come back!

The guy serving was very straightforward and friendly , I believe his name was Danny and the pizza was really great and I’d say this is the first pizza I had which I can tell it’s been handmade. Overall a great place to get pizza !

Absoloutely amazing me and my friend came after cineworld and had a great time with the Funghi pizza, would absoloutely recommend for a quick tasty pizza with friends.

The best pizza maker , 50 Kalo , Sorbillo or La Masardona are in Naples . But, you can find the best pizza also at Nero , in Barnsley . Authentic Italian taste and quality ingredients. Nice smiling staff , cozy atmosphere 5 stars for you guys ! Thank you

Staff are rude, I was queuing with friends to get pizzas, they took everyone else’s order and when it got to mine I was told that my friends pizza was the last order and I couldn’t have one, this was around 8:40pm on a Saturday which is a strange time to close as the signs said 9pm, so everyone in my group had a pizza except me so I had to get food from elsewhere. Ruined our experience.

For us, the service was bad from the start: I went to ask for a menu, so we can sit at the table and properly see what we want to get, and not only I wasn't told there are no paper menus available, but I was just pointed to go to the front The lady didn't even have the decency to come to the front and properly speak to me, just pointed me in some direction I didn't even know what she meant (obviously I saw the menu on the TV in front and glued to the counter, but I didn't even get to exchange a few words) we ended up going to Rajah's nearby (which did have a proper menu and online available, scannable with the code on each table)

Service was ok but I felt rushed, there wasn’t anyone else waiting ! Pizza was nice but nothing special it came to the table nice and hot , they do not offer any it’s sides and although I was able to visit another eatery to get something it meant queuing again.

I had a lovely pizza with figs, truffle oil and blue cheese, it was excellent. I will be back for sure. The kitchen matket in Barnsley market is a vibrant place to have lunch, very pleasent discovery indeed!

Have been to Nero’s in Barnsley Market Kitchen a couple of times. Both times the pizza has been fantastic. They clearly use good quality ingredients for the base and the toppings. Really can’t fault the experience and can’t wait to go again.

Had an excellent double pepperoni pizza today, the food was so good i could not stop eating it until it was gone. The only thing Nero could improve on is the cutlery, the fork immediately broke - so i ate it with my hands (like you’re supposed to). I will definitely be a regular at Nero’s.

First time coming here and I’d been recommended by a few friends! Definitely need to try the Gourmet pizza, absolutely amazing!!!

How these are not 5 star I've no idea. The dough is perfect, crisp on the outside with a slight glutenous chew to it inside. Toppings are fresh and you get plenty of them with lots of variety such as goats cheese, figs, asparagus and truffle oil. Head and shoulders above any other take away pizza joint.

Brilliant pizza made with really good quality ingredients and lovely dough. The antipasti platter is really, really good and a meal in itself. Absolutely lovely and well recommended!

Piece of Italy in the heart of Barnsley, first floor of Glassworks/Market Kitchen. Excellent base plus good quality ingredients at competitive price. Best pizza in town, highly recommended.

Do they know the rules of Health and safety ( Hygiene and Safety), no I don't think so. We were waiting to order some food in Nero Artisan Pizza, however, we notice that a young small girl touch the money and after that she touch her hair then she went to make a pizza but she didnt wash her hand...that doesn't look really good, is disgusting, . On top of it, she wasn't even dressed as a chef, clearly they really don't know what they are doing, . Hygiene is very important when you are making food if you don't apply it it is obvious that you don't care about your customers. Sorry Nero Artisan, we are not coming back to order from you.

Beautiful food and presentation!

Was there yesterday afternoon and I had their Salad , didn't get photo of it , the salad was beautifully presented and i really enjoyed it thank you and my compliments to the Chef.

Ordered two orange juices and two pizzas firstly the orange was brought in a can not chilled no glass, brought the pizzas no choice to use cutlery which I don’t usually use for pizza but in the case it would have come in useful, when I picked a slice up it was that wet a limp all the toppings slid of and was impossible to eat, the tomato tasted and looked like tinned tomatoes was tasteless, all in all a waste of money, no staff around to mention these issues.
