Dropped in for drinks and snacks on a hot afternoon - loved it. We had 2 "small" plates which were very tasty and filling, and good tea and coffee. The staff are friendly, and there is an excellent bar menu at reasonable prices for London. The decor inside is relaxing and spacious with a view of St James Church at rear. We will definitely be coming here again as it is a comfortable pit stop away from busyness of Piccadilly.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have had 2 visits to this establishment over the last 3 months and both have been appalling. I wasn’t going to leave a review after the first visit, as I didn’t want to give this place the energy, but after the last time I had to. When I came in March with my partner we had a busy day of shopping and seeing family in the area and wanted a bite to eat and some drinks to relax. When I spoke to the manager (assuming that was who served us as he was in a suit) we were told that they did a selection of pizzas and he brought over the menu. We ordered the pizza with ham, mushrooms and mascarpone with high hopes (the pizza was around £14 so we were sure it would be great). I am 99% positive that we were served was an oven pizza from the likes of Sainsburys/tesco/asda. I often get these kinds of pizzas to make at home when I’m tired from work and this pizza was identical in appearance, taste, texture and size. This was NOT a pizza made in house. I even went on Tesco’s website when I got home after taking a photo of the menu and noticed they seemed to have copied and pasted the ingredients/description from their Tesco finest pizza with the same ingredients. Me and my partner were exhausted and didn’t want to cause a fuss but we did mention when asked that we weren’t keen on the pizza and were disappointed. If I’m honest my partner stopped me from making a scene. Also, we asked for black pepper and salt and the pepper/salt mills they brought over were empty. They brought over 2 more, they were empty too. Terribly ran out establishment if you’re serving paying customers like us a supermarket oven pizza for £14 and have empty salt and pepper mills (kind of a basic need isn’t it?) The second time we can was a few days ago. We popped in for a drink as again we had met some friends near by and my partner wanted to try again as he liked the interior of the bar. I reluctantly agreed and I was disgraced at the price of the drinks. They seem to have almost doubled since we were last in? I was charged almost £9 for a bottle of Peroni and my partner was charged over £13 for a single house gin and tonic. When we questioned this at the bar we were met with a rude attitude (again by the manager in a suit) and essentially brushed off. I also overheard this manager talking to the bar staff with a disgusting attitude and very much seemed like a bully considering the bar staff looked so young. Avoid this place at all costs. Ran by a clueless team and tone deaf to the wants and needs of customers in 2024.

Place should be shut down for blatant theft - was card only , no cash and machines held out to ‘tap’ - knew price could not be right for 3 drinks so asked receipt , was a lot of hassle trying to get one trying fob off , but eventually managed to get it and £9.50 charge - was told it was drink but showed items for 3 drinks and this 4th separate charge then finally told 40% service charge because live event - after this we asked for recipes and varying charges between £6.50 and £10.50 had been added for the same round of drinks ! They literally made tens of thousands of pounds by ripping people off , this is trouble with digital currency , people given drinks and machine held out to tap , you aren’t even told how much , just a machine held out . So if you decide to visit this venue just be aware that the bar staff WILL rip you off for varying amounts when you go to tap your card - the amounts seemed to increase throughout the night !

Attended this venue to see Rehab The Musical sadly it was hard to enjoy as the seats were so uncomfortable and very painful after 2 hours 30 mins The bar upstairs is ok but very quiet maybe because of the extortionate prices.

This is now a trendy bar. The drinks are pricey but that’s to be expected in central London. The one thing that I object to is the addition of 12.5% service charge when you have collected your own drinks from the bar. The service charge is in tiny red writing on the bottom of the drinks menu.
