Great place, you can sit & look out to the water. It's a great way to relax

Absolutely beautiful place to chill overlooking the lake, the staff are very friendly and Def dog friendly, the downside to us was the good overcooked steak and the ploughman's was a let down

Stopped to have a quick coffee and couldn't resist a bacon cob, it was lovely and the cove is a beautiful place to sit and have a coffee great views, thank you in will return again soon

The location is excellent, but unfortunately, our experiences at this pub have been declining with each visit. Upon entering, there’s an unpleasant damp odor that immediately stands out. When our coffees arrived, a good portion had spilled into the saucers. I ordered the house burger (£15.50), and it was extremely disappointing—the patty was cold and undercooked, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the lettuce looked like it was 2-3 days old. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had a worse burger. I left the patty on the plate and explained the situation to the waiter, who simply said he’d inform the chef. That’s not what I would call good customer service.

First time here. Just nipped in with my family and what a lovely place. Lovely service staff really nice. Views great too, lovely in the summer months. Well worth a visit, we didnt eat but from what i saw of others food looked really good.

I am very happy that I found this place. I recommend it to anyone passing through.

Excellent bar and restaurant, super selection of food and a specials board. They do amazing brakfasts upto 12noon. You can order from the takeaway board or eat in at the time of writing. Excellent views over the quarry and trees. Very friendly staff. Set within a flooded quarry and diving school also open for swimming. Amazing views and sunsets while sitting outside.

I have always loved visiting stoney cove and even got engaged here however when I visited here this evening I was a little shocked to find that there was no baby changing facilities here and ended up having to change my little one in the car in the car park. I did ask a member of staff if there was a changing station but was told “I don’t think we do”

four of us came on Sunday morning for breakfast. all had full English us usual but all was very disappointed as it was only just warm with some items cold.

Really in need of updating been using the bar poss 30 yrs after a days diving and whilst other things have changed tgis remains the same yet it still gets busy?

Great place to have a beer after a swim was little let down by the food (not the quality or price) but was a group of us went there and my friends food never came out and was refunded but I would recommend

Visited here for the first time. We were impressed with the views. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly, and the service was quick. We would quite happily visit again. It's worth noting that there is an accessible entrance to the rear outside seating. It's to the left of the pub (it looks like an area for staff only), but the only other way has got steps and isn't suitable.

Was quite disappointed as there was no food at time we went . "Just closed it off and also no brew coffee as machined already cleaned" Anyway great view from balcony area.. take something warm to wear though.. parking is good..

Didn't have food, so I can't comment. The location is amazing and service is spot on.

Breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Cheap catering sausages, scrambled egg with no taste, hash browns that taste of stale grease and undercooked bacon with gelatinous fat, there are better places in the area for breakfast

Lovely pub with beautiful surroundings. Would definitely benefit with a small revamp and a lick of paint.

Nice food, I was given the allergies booklet to look through, which reassured me that food was vegan. Food was nice, service wasn't great as no signs stating that you had to order at the bar and get your own cutlery. Staff seemed confused.

Rude female staff, downgrading younger male staff very loudly Infront of customers, no manners and killed the atmosphere. Then when leaving we were told off by a female from the kitchen for using a fire exit door which is always left open anyways. Been coming here for a while but won't be in a rush to come back after today

Nice quiet place to relax, the food was cooked perfect to our liking and the view is amazing. Could do with an upgrade and brighten up but doesn't affect anything. Perfect location

Stopped by and ordered my mother an artic roll for pudding. I was disgusted by the small portion , and poor quality , it was a small slice of basically what you could buy a whole one for from Iceland for £1 It cost over £5 !!!

Nice bar and sitting out area and very friendly and efficient staff. Biggest issue is the toilets stink which in a restaurant is really off putting.

The pub is lovely. The female staff are lovely. Some of the male staff all been nothing but school leavers need to learn some manners or start at hospitality college. The most ignorant arrogant people in that pun. Definitely won't be returning there when there's other pubs In village with experienced staff

Ques are stupidly slow moving during the Tuesday biker nights. More staff are needed to be serving on this night and if you order food or a hot drink then be prepared to pay at the bar then go hand in your ticket at a small hatch and wait in another queue of people. Really poorly planned. This has put me off going here again

Hate to make a bad review and be one of those people who complain about food on some online site but I ordered a beef burger with skin on Fries unfortunately they gave me a chicken burger but wasn’t going to correct them as I know how hard it can be to work in fast food etc so can’t really fault them there but the fries was near enough inedible and very stale and dry it was a small piece of chicken for 15 pound!! It was just overpriced and not to mention small portion

It was a bike night when we went so food was very limited - I had a bacon roll which was a tasteless batch, no butter and two bits of bacon. Had to smother it in sauce. I'm sure their regular food would be better 🤔

it was a really nice pub with a nice scenery has a gorgeous balcony and the staff were really nice the fish was amazing but the chips i didn’t like because of the skin

I went to a bike meet In the evening, the bar staff were friendly and welcoming. Food was available. However, I never used the facilities. Prices were reasonable.

Absolutely fantastic. Never disappoints food is excellent and staff are so friendly! Dogs are welcomed and treated amazingly! Views are gorgeous. Highly recommended ❤️

Very basic menu, the same menu used at night as through the day, not a lot on it, should change the menu at night to give more choices. Pub is very run down and needs an up grade.

First thing is that this place should really need a refurbishment, is a beautiful location let down by the pub, what a shame 😳 Ordered a buttermilk Chicken Burger and got instead tiny piece of grilled chicken with 3 leafs of salad for £15. Such a joke! Now we need to get some dinner. The beef burger was at least a normal size but I hope I am not getting any food poisoning as the taste was not fresh at all. Definitely a stunning area but I won’t come back to the pub.

Never had an issue at Nemos with the food, always spot on 👌 The views are stunning. The staff are friendly. My only minor gripe is that the tables are not numbered, so when ordering at the bar, it can cause confusion. We had food brought over to us a couple of times that was not our order. Could easily be solved with numbered spoons or something similar 😊

Right where do I start with a shipyard usually. What a brilliant place to go on a sunny day. All the bar staff are super friendly and helpful. The bar itself has a great vibe with its ship/diving theme. A pier type outdoor seating area with a complete view of the cove. And plenty of indoor seating to accommodate the restaurant keeping with the ship style theme. They have a good selection of beers ales and ciders along with a good selection of spirits. Along with hot drinks and plenty kids drink options too. Now the food, the burgers are delicious home made style beef burger with the choice of fries or chunky chips and they always come out cooked spot on in my opinion but they are a thick burger so some would probably like it a little more done.. they also do chicken and fish but haven’t tried them yet so cannot comment. We have also had the steak chia batter which is also spot on. Overall the food is very good. They have also started doing a bike night on a Tuesday so it does get very busy must be over 400 people plus turn up on average so it becomes alot busier than usual. The staff handle it well with a good queuing system and still fast service. Toilets are always clean. Along with the place it’s self. Definitely worth a visit even if your not from the area. Thanks

Not a great experience but beautiful views. Food was ok but quite expensive for what it was. They also messed up our order. We ordered for 4 people but only 3 meals came out. Staff were arguing and rolling eyes at each other. We didn't feel very welcome. The location is beautiful but the facilities are quite tired and the staff is not so professional. Shame really.

We came for steak night with some friends yesterday. I had an old review of Nemos which was 3 stars from a couple of years back but honestly the service we received was so good yesterday and the steak was one of the best cooked steaks out I have had in years, will 100% be returning. It's so nice they also let dogs in now!

Beautiful location. The decor is nautical themed with some must see art. You feel like your on a cruise. Truly a must visit, a hidden gem in Leicestershire.

We arrived over 30 mins late due to a delay from our transfer and the manager Ricardo he originally was going to send us away but he helped us and managed to get us a table! He was a life saver! The food was exceptional, the vibes were immaculate and the inside was beautiful. I’m so grateful I was able to eat there. If you’re ever visiting antalya please make sure you book a table here! I always run there when I need peace. Have a coffee facing the stone cove it's everything I need to restart.

Had a sausage and egg butty. From the cafe The egg was super small. I asked for butter and it was just 1 of those butter rectangles dumped in the bap not spread. Sausage was alright. Should have passed cafe and gone around to the restaurant. Lovely views though.

Sausage and tomato 🍅 😋 cob, nice but fresh tomato 😬, was not expected, everyone else uses tinned tomato, fresh tomato is cold so makes Sausage cold, but was nice. Very nice venue sat outside over looking the scuba divers and silly cold water swimming 🥶, not my cup of tea.

I absolutely love this place. It has great breakfast options which are fairly big as well. Absulte must visit after the morning swimming routine. Friendly atmosphere of Nemo underwater adventures. Friendly staff, good value for money. Easy 5*

Stopped here for a snack and a drink on a lovely sunny afternoon. It was busy ish but there were still seats. The food was nothing special and a little pricey but the location is what you're paying for here.

Lovely stroll down to the cove on a sunny day. Just had a sausage bap and coffee from the window.

I accompanied a swimmer to the cove and popped into the bar for a very enjoyable hot chocolate in the v welcoming bar area. Other swimmers present resulting in a jovial and friendly club atmosphere. Would certainly drop in again if on the area

This place has such potential, it just needs slot of money chucking at it. So picturesque and relaxing. Food Good but they could do with having offers for families as quite expensive for breakfast for a family of 4. Never really see it advertised so they could really do with pushing as the dive and swim side is so busy, but the pub is very quiet.

Lovely cheese board old skool choice by us twas nice with a bowl of chunky chips I was nearly finished my board staff very keen to clear our food away I wasn't fully finished... The views very cool nice bit of escapism

Nemo Bar is great after cold water swimming. English breakfast or hot chocolate 🍫 does the job 😋 They have vegetarian options and alternative milk options, which for me is a win-win 💪🏻

A great spot for a post dip drink. Sitting outside overlooking the quarry in good weather with a nice pint is definitely a good reason to come here. However, the food was disappointing. I had a ham wrap which was literally just a bit of salad and a bit of ham in a dry tortilla wrap which barely held together (as you can see from the carefully placed toothpick). There was no sauce or dressing in the wrap so it wasn't pleasant to eat. I had to smother it with mayonnaise to make it a bit more palatable. The sweet potato crisps though we're a nice touch but could have been thicker to avoid them being greasy. I would come here again for a drink but would consider my food order more carefully next time.

Went on the off chance there would be a table outside overlooking the lake. Managed to get a table food was served in a timely manner and as it started to rain we moved inside and the waitress found us easily. Enjoyed the jacket potato with prawns good helping and reasonably priced .I would definitely go again. But if it was a nice day would reserve a table as limited space outside

Just shocking. Place was chaos. Run by teenagers who need support from their bosses. Doing their best. Food simply awful. My partner and I had to share a knife as no cutlery available not was any cutlery put out in whole time we sat there. Nobody to ask all too busy. Ploughman's was just about edible. But not even warm bread on it. Don't bother with side orders. Complete rip off. Fries like wood. Four onion rings. The views are good and my partner swims there but we will never eat there again.
