Nawroz in City of London, Westminster

They start you off with complimentary lentil soup. So delicious, we knew the rest of the meal was going to be great. We ordered labneh and pickled beets as starters. It came with really nice flatbread with sesame seeds. My husband even liked the labneh, something he can usually take or leave. We devoured everything else too: foul medames (fava beans) fried halloumi, fattoush salad and chicken kebab. Even had leftovers for the next day. Service was good, would definitely go back.

Cada vez que visito Nawroz es porque sé que puedo conseguir una buena parrilla o plato de cordero aquí sin duda. Su parrilla mixta siempre es sabrosa y se acompaña con mucha ensalada. En general, sus porciones son enormes y cada vez que vamos allí siempre terminamos con comida para llevar. El personal es educado, amable y orientado al cliente. La mayoría de las veces ofrecen sopa de lentejas y té gratis, que siempre es un buen toque. Definitivamente lo recomendaré.

Nos topamos con este restaurante mientras caminamos de Kings Cross a Little Venice por el Regent Canal. Saludo amistoso con una increíble sopa de lentejas. Luego nos dieron saland en escabeche y ensalada mientras esperábamos nuestra comida. La comida era increíble y el personal fue muy amable. Definitivamente lo recomendaría. 50 para el almuerzo para 7. Excelente en todos los aspectos.

Kabab estaba salado. . . Y como lo dijimos amigablemente, nos dijeron que cuando estábamos viejos. . Él quería ser gracioso, pero no lo era. . .

Such a great food quality. Tasted as good as a home made Kabobs. They start out by offering a free Kurdish-Style lentil soup that tastes great and a variety of free appetizers including a salad. They brought a lot of freshly made bread that tasted great. Our server was so generous and offered a whole pot of tea that tasted just like home. They included small bites of Baklava which made the tea taste even better. Overall great experience.

The food was great with lots of free stuff - dips, bread, salad, tea, baklava - so much so that I could only eat half of my meal! Can recommend hot starters and mixed kebabs. Restaurant is Kurdish and they made us feel very welcome. Will definitely visit again when near the area.

The food we ordered took 30 minutes to arrive and the bread was like rubber. The portion sizes were small for the price we were charged. The lamb tikka with naan said it came with salad, but the salad mainly consisted of onions. The chicken tikka wraps had rubbery bread and the take away boxes we asked for were too small to take wrap away in. As if waiting half an hour for the food wasn’t bad enough we had two waitresses watching over us like hawks with the hands tied. They could’ve spent their time better by helping the chef inside the kitchen instead of making us feel uncomfortable. To be honest the best thing about the place was the complimentary lentil soup!

The food is delicious, halal and very generous with their portions. Indoor and outdoor seating. Kurdish Iraqi food is what we ate and the price is very affordable. Recommended

Didn't have time to cook so got a few different dishes to takeaway. The minced meat kebab was crispy on the outside but pink on the inside. I like my meat rare but not minced meat. I have eaten at better places serving similar cuisine. The aubergine dip was nice and the rice was good too. Would I go again? Probably, if in the area.

We randomly went to this restaurant and now it's my favorite restaurant in London. The food is very good, the prices are great and portions are huge. Me and my boyfriend paid £16 for 2 main meals and we were very full at the end. They offer soup, salad as appetizers and tea and baklava on the house. The staff was very friendly and the service quick and excellent. I will definitely go again to this place and I highly recommend it!

My friend and I popped in for a meal after walking from Camden Market along Regents canal to Little Venice. Very nice staff , gave us complimentary lentil soup, very welcoming and tasty. Enjoyed lunch . Good value for money. Very clean facilities.

We used to visit this restaurant very often, but we haven't been amused recently due to the below experiences: 1 - The waitress was in a hurry to clean the table, so she kept on coming quite a few times to take the plates - we had to tell her that we're not quite finished yet :-) 2 - Their lamb Quzi is to die for - but there was a strange smell when I visited lately. I hope they wash the meat before cooking - I'm sure they do but I just wanted to share my recent experience with you all. 3 - If you order lamb quzi or chicken quzi there are a couple of sources which are included in the deal. But they always tend to skip 1 or two. Tip -You'll have to remind them to include all the side dishes. 4 - They charged us for a dish (I can't remember whether it was a salad or an extra sauce) that we did not order. I always check the bill before paying and I have experienced this a couple of times. This includes water bottles too. 5 - The toilets were nice and clean but there was a strange smell (not toiletries), couldn’t figure out the smell :-/ 6 - It is a non-smoking restaurant but visitors smoke at the tables they put outside the restaurant (which is a part of the restaurant). A person like me who doesn’t smoke and would like to enjoy the aroma of food would find it slightly unpleasant. Overall, the team members at the restaurant are very friendly and always smiling. I see more and more guests coming in and the tables fill up very quickly. Good Luck to the team - We will keep visiting you but slightly less now!

Edgware road regorge de restaurants irakiens et arabes, nous avons jeté notre dévolu sur Nawroz. Le service est extraordinaire, amical et attentionné. Soignez prévenus les portions sont gargantuesques : ne vous aventurez pas dans des mix de brochettes, elles sont immenses et gouteuses. Les entrées sont automatiquement servies avec une soupe de lentilles, des pickles et un pain irakien extraordinaire servi chaud et croustillant. Baba ganouj au top ! Une belle adresse !

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and had a mixed starter platter between two and a lamb kebab sandwich. Huge portions of simply beautiful food: amazing breads, mouth-watering meat and fresh, tasty salads. An absolute gem.

was in London for 12 days. I have almost every day in Eat and drink at this perfect restaurant. Best Rice, Best Meat, Different Foods and Oriental Specialties, Soups, Different Stew Soups, Tea. and above all the best service, nice atmosphere, easy Top Restaurant!
