I haven’t been to this restaurant since it changed ownership and what a delightful experience it was. Food was freshly cooked and absolutely delicious. The service was friendly, efficient and couldn’t be faulted. I will definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant.

I took my friend for her 30th birthday(she is a cheff) I picked and knew she would love it(I've been once before) we enjoyed every moment! The staff are lovey, atmosphere and dining was beautiful and comfortable. The food was lovley, best Indian I've had! Only downfall was we couldn't move after as we was so full! Lovely food and dining experience with great service

When first coming in, the decor and general feel of the place is great. Looking at the menus, it soon becomes apparent that they're very overpriced before even ordering. Standard rip off drinks too, but that's par for the course I suppose. £1 each for poppadoms, £5 for basic boiled rice, etc. We ordered in any case and the food was...not bad, but not even top 10 of Indians I've been to and so not even close to being decent value. Further to this, the male waiter was excellent, but the girls were close to useless. They all stood around doing very little and didn't even move when they were standing staring at us putting out coats on and getting up. When we got to the bar where they were standing they just carried on standing around looking gormless until we asked for the bill, which they almost seemed annoyed to have to provide. We paid, with the discretionary 10% service charge automatically added to the bill (which itself is a disgraceful tactic) and left. We won't be back. Average food, lacking service and forced 10% service charge.

The restaurant is unmissable as it is currently swathed in Xmas lighting depicting what I assume is snowfall - there is plenty of roadside parking around the restaurant and some spaces in front. It was the first time we'd dined in, as previously we've had takeaway and the whole experience was excellent - the ambience, the food, the service was all top notch. We dined at 6pm and even at that time the restaurant was busy. Paps and spice tray to start - there is an excellent Mint Yoghurt amongst the dips that manages to combine a creamy mintiness to perfection. We had the Tandoori Platter to start which was very good - an excellent Sheekh Kebab is part of it. Our mains were Chicken Dhesi Karahi & Chicken Tikka Kashmiri Balti - both excellent with a real depth of flavour to the sauces - huge chunks of chicken with the Karahi. Accompanying was an excellent eggy Egg Fried Rice and Plain Naan(perfectly well done as requested) and Chilli Cheese Naan which my partner enjoyed. The service was excellent throughout and we were looked after royally by Shaz. Thoroughly recommended.

We came for the Sunday banquet and it was amazing 6 adults and one baby, everyone loved their food, the portions are huge and the service was amazing made us feel super welcome and special. Visited tonight with a group of 3 friends and had to leave a review. Food was fast, hot and delicious we had starters and mains all round and everyone had great things to say. The best indian north of Bradford. Exceptional service from Zack who took great care of us, had some great friendly banter and was generally a stand up guy. Just ordered a takeaway to eat in my hotel. This place had really good reviews and I can see why. Friendly helpful staff and above average curries. Ordered chicken garlic chilli masala which was really good with a hot kick to it. The saag aloo paneer was one of the best I had. Rice and bread are also good. I do miss the cardamom and spice seeds that seem to be missing in most curries now. One of the best curries I had recently. There is a few good parking around. Would give it a 4 star for a slightly warm cobra but that wouldn't be fair. All came to just over £30.

Prices on just eat are disgusting. Proper dreamers.

Beautiful place with a cosy atmosphere I must say one of the best chicken madras, it’s simple yet elegant, didn’t enjoy the starters though I found lamb chops dry and bland but would definitely go back for the curry.

First of all, my wife doesn't like hot spicy food,and it took me ages to convince her to go to this type of restaurant but once we we're there and we were sitting down and explained this to the memberof staff looking after us, they reassured her that they would look after her.we had the most amazing food ever and we've been back a few times since,honestly the staff are so nice,the atmosphere is brilliant and the place smells exotic.if you want that kind of a place to eat then get booked in there as you won't regret it I promise.AAAA+++++++++

We were looking forward to trying this indian as the reviews are good... well, we don't understand why there are good! The food was bland... the rice, the naans, the curries, all lacked flavours! And the chicken tikka was chewy. The waiters were friendly but they kept asking if everything was ok... once should be enough! And then the price was... high. The only nice thing was the decor.

We live in Kimberley, been eating here for 5 years. Everything on the menu is so high quality and consistently fantastic food. It’s the best Indian food I’ve had and I’ve travelled India. We take guests all the time and it always impresses. There’s a reason it was the #1 restaurant in Nottingham on tripadvisor for several years and probably will be again. It’s because it simply is the best restaurant in Nottingham.

1st time delivery from you, I rang up originally I asked if it was 17.50 for the chicken korma, the man on the phone said yes that is right. It put me off paying that much for the korma ( no rice) but when I looked again on uber eats it said it was 14.50 so we had delivery as the reviews looked amazing. The food was lovely!! But please ask the people who answer the phone to have more knowledge that could of cost you a bad review luckily I chose Togo with my gut feeling. We will definitely order again as it was a fast delivery, food lovely, warm lemon wipe to wipe hands before meal. Pickle tray lovely with 1 extra poperdom 😁

Visited a few times now for a special occasion as it quite pricey. But tonight being Valentine’s was definitely very disappointing was really looking to having a lovely evening with good food but waited one and half hours for our starter couldn’t get anyone’s attention no eye contact heads down serving tables that came in after us with no explanation why it was taking so long. When the main course arrived one was a korma and should have been a Masala and the curries we had had very little meat which isn’t usually the case. No one asked if we enjoyed our meal and had to wave hands to try and order a drink. We spent £200 for four of us and I definitely won’t do that again. The guy who is usually there when we go wasn’t there he was always very welcoming and knew how to look after his customers. We were told later that the tables that came in after us had there orders first by mistake. The couple next to us was also Neglected and we’re not happy.

Great first visit & looking forward to returning. Not busy, but it was a Sunday night at 7pm, so I would expect it to be busier on more popular nights of the week. Food was amazing from the starter to main, all full of flavour & spices, a dance party on the tongue! Although we didn't have a dessert, the selections on offer, looked very tempting and a good mix of traditional Indian & your more standard fare. If you fancy a change, in great surroundings & not in the city centre, this is a definite must for Indian lovers.

Had a lovely meal here this Sunday lunch travelled up from Leicester to see friends who booked this , we had the special Sunday lunch with some extras the food was excellent well worth the money the place is lovely and the service was great on the way out we were given a chocolate orange which was a nice touch we really enjoyed it and will certainly return would highly recommend
