Nawaab Restaurant in Kirklees

Delicious food. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Polite and humble behavior of the staffs are really satisfying.

My wife and I, have been going to Nawaab for several decades, We are familiar with the menu, and the staff We went yesterday, a senior staff member took our order, The starters came out wrong, we ordered veg samosas, we were given veg rolls, very similar so we let it slide. Then my main came out wrong, I ordered sabzi tawa, but I was given a treo of different curries. I complained, they took it away, then minutes later, came out with the SAME THING, presented as a tawa, on a flat bottom pan, This is Not a sabzi tawa the dish I was given had paneer in it, and lentils, this was not right, I then complained to the Manager, he looked and agreed with me, this was not right, My wife ate hers, I had to wait for mine to be cooked. I felt Very angry( I have a bad temper in cases like this ) But tried my best to stay calm. Eventually I got the correct dish, Vegetables, with really Hot chilli’s, it was nice, but I still felt like my night had been ruined. I am not sure if I am Ever going back to Nawaab, shame I have some nice memories. like most people, money is tight, and to receive poor service like this, is very off putting.

Would leave 0 stars if I could, ordered food, it turned up an hour and a half later, hardly lukewarm. Last thing I want to do is be chucking a takeaway straight in the microwave it's grim what's the point? Didn't even get the right naan or curry in the end either, so phone up for a refund and get palmed off, I ask for a refund cos my food is kinda cr*p on arrival and I'm not eating that. The guy on the phone kept offering me a discount code for next time I ordered and kept ignoring me saying that there is no way in hell I'm ordering from here again. I only got half my money back in the end, they said the manager had gone home so all they could do was give me half???? Felt scammy af, DONE ORDER ONLINE, AND DON'T DINE IN IT'S DECOUR IS DREADFUL

had the same problem as a couple of other people here by the looks of things.. food cold runny pretty bad, it also arrived an hour late me and my wife were looking forward to having a meal... 0 stars for sure!!

awful awful awful DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE, ordered a delivery from here which arrived 1hr 40 mins later, cold, runny, terrible 'food' very pathetic shreds of meat? The food wasn't even the worst part. We called for a refund as it was really not up to standard, and after multiple attempts and being palmed off to foodhub who had to manually take the refund back off them (we only got half back, the rest has to be disputed thanks!), the guy on the phone lied saying we had thrown the food away, I told them to come get it and the driver AND manager had magically gone home at 10:30pm and they said it was too far to collect back wow!! Then back and forth with foodhub, they provided more lies, and ended up ignoring my phone calls- had to call through on my partners phone only to end up with half of my money back. Just goes to show they truly value that £15 more than two customers who might have come back if they weren't gaslit and lied to by the waiting staff member.

love the nawaab. I needed to ammend my order time, rang the restaurant and all sorted with no problem. quality of the food and service superb.

Although this is the first time after using a stamp, that I have been left underwhelmed by the amount of king prawns(3 plus what seemed the remainder to be substituted by the quartered tomatoes) I am somewhat pondering my future orders with my selection with my choice of restaurant…

I haven’t been to the Nawaab in such a long time. It used to be lovely so thought we’d give it a go. We had a table booked for 7pm on a Saturday. When we got there, we were told to wait In the bar and get a drink. So had everyone else. The bar was rammed! There were plenty of tables free to seat people. We waited for our table and were seated at 7:15. On the smallest table for two right next to the really busy bar where people kept bumping in to us. As we were looking through the menu, the pages were stuck together and were sticky. We decided it wasn’t the dining experience we wanted and left. When we told staff, they didn’t seem to care anyway.

worst meal we have had from here,everything was cold,mushroom rice was just plain rice with mushrooms thrown on top very disappointing doubt whether we will order from here again.

2 items missing, the portion size of the butter chicken was disappointing. Despite ordering large, we got a normal size portion in a large container.

Still one of the best curry's in Hudds, the Tawa dish is superb

Late delivery, missing items and what was delivered is stone cold and unfit to eat. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Will go back to those who manage to deliver as promised. Take your money elsewhere would be my advice

It's been a long time since I last visited Nawaab and I was delighted to find that the staff and atmosphere are still lovely and the food is delicious. We had a really lovely evening and we will be back soon.

The Nerali special (we ordered 4 large) wasn’t as nice as usual. The sauce was too thin and not as tasty as we’ve had in the past.

A massive thank you to all the staff at Nawaabs - Christmas Day dinner was spectacular the food the service atmosphere and value for money - there was 7 in our party and everybody had an amazing time- the food tasted very fresh and came to the table with the best of hosting - how they offer a 5 course meal at the Christmas dinner price is incredible and there were no corners cut - massive thank you to all x

On the just eat app showed delivered, Phoned restaurant to let them know we had not received at 20.00 our order came at 20.40 no apology for being late

the biryani tatsed like they just put microwave rice in and there was no depth and no flavour at all. All other food generally lacking flavour and food mid temp upon arrival. Will never order from here again which is a shame as I have eaten in the restaurant and also ordered twice from here before. don't do it people, just DON'T.

Cold food, delivered over an hour late. twice it updated to delivered when it wasn’t. Ordered a family naan got a normal size one. The onion bhaji starters were all broken so was the popadoms - ordered pickles got a teaspoon amount - very very poor. This was our wedding anniversary special treat. Turned into one of the worst experiences on Just Eat. So disappointed as both curries were flavourless too - won’t be going back.

Had many curry’s from here. This one was awful. Wrong order delivered with cold chips. Called and they sent out the correct order. But, it was lukewarm. Called to complain and was told the manager would call us at 9pm. We’re still waiting days on. Won’t be ordering again. Thanks Just Eat for the £5.92 credit for a £32 order!

wrong curry delivered, complained to Just Eat who refused refund. numerous pieces of chicken were tough and I couldn't cut with cutlery. I have been to nawaab for years, tonight's order was poor & I won't be returning again

Didn’t get the exact dish I ordered, informed just eat and they reimbursed me the difference in price whilst deciding I should pay the full amount for the unsuitable dish I didn’t want and didn’t order. Terrible service abysmal just eat customer service stay well away!!! Use Uber eats any issues with orders are resolved immediately without fuss!
