Nawaab Restaurant Tong Bradford in Bradford

Was initially disappointed when the chicken was breast meat, I ordered a Madras, which was the only hot dish in the "favourites " part of the menu, the Madras was well flavoured, well spiced, had depth of flavour and met my spice (hot) requirements. I would also say I struggle with eating very fatty oily foods that come back and haunt me. I've been fine here, which is a good sign of a quality lean meal. Well done, nawaab, we will ne returing.

We used to regularly eat here and have take outs and it was great until we ordered tonight for delivery, the standards have really dropped. We’re a fan of their butter chicken but on this occasion it was just chicken in a heavy cream with no flavour and colour, I could’ve made better out of a jar from a supermarket. Also on our last visit in their restaurant their naan wasn’t good either it was too thick and didn’t seem fresh, I’m not sure what’s going on but I don’t think I’ll be going back or ordering for a take out again. It’s a big let down as we’ve been customers for a long time.

This restaurant is a great place for a relaxing night out. The food is traditional perfectly spiced and meats cooked to perfection. The food is superb and generous portions. The service is always fast and the staff are exceptional Easy to park.

Customer for 30+ years since the original restaurant in Bradford, home of the legendary Nirali Special that won a prestigious curry competition. Increasingly hit and miss from top level restaurant quality to average take away fodder. Tonights was the worst takeaway I've had for a long time. Bhajis, half tasted of not so fresh fish, the other half were a bit stale like they had been sat a while. The main course Buna one chicken and one lamb, not anything like the bunas of old, instead of a thick rich deep sauce these were thin and insipid, we had to add our own spice and the chicken buna tasted like tomato soup witha few spices. One of naan breads burnt. Very disappointing,..

Food was small portions took an hour and half and I had an upset stomach the day after. Never again !!

First time eating in restaurant. Looked nice and clean and staff well presented. Had a starter and main which was the special and was impressed with the food which was very tasty. Would definitely visit again

Absolutely disgusted with their service. Rude and incompetent. I order without fail every week and today they will never receive my service again. My order came completely wrong AND missing items, upon ringing I was shouted at and told “NO REFUNDS” Then I was hung up on very abruptly. Disgusting service. Will never be going back.

My son offered to pay for me a treat and I gladly accepted. We both had starters and a main course. I ordered what I often eat in the restaurant. There was no difference in the taste at all. It was a joy to eat all the dishes. It arrived in a box with little spillage. My lamb main was so rich and the meat so tender. Far superior to most local take aways. Thanks son.

amazing food!! I had the butter chicken and garlic naan and it was just beautiful, the staff were very attentive and friendly! one oldish asian man (sorry didn’t know your name) made an amazing mango lassi! very clean! thank you so much guys for making our dining experience wonderful!

Regular visitors to the Nawaab at Tong, Bradford Always good food and friendly staff. Prices also very reasonable Would highly recommend

Atmosphere was good Staff was alright Food was great but the starters were soggy because of steam...

Probably the worst food ever. Cold dried up and crispy starters. Main courses that where like oil slicks in the north sea. Freezing cold room with no heating present at all Staff eating food directly off the hot plate in front of diners When told about the issues the management was not interested. Had to stop the car on the way home to be physically sick AVOID AT ALL COSTS
