Pastries closest to what we ate in Portugal. Would recommend over Bath buns, etc. Perfect with a cup of coffee

Been there yesterday (we are portuguese). Good quality, but they got our order wrong. Sadly we bought pack of 6 and paid nearly £15 to bring home what we didn't ask. We didn't open the package before leave thinking they got it right. We tried the expresso and the nata was FANTASTIC, the portuguese girl was able to speak portuguese fantastic service. I would advice anyone either write down before you order multi flavour natas pack of 6 or check before you leave. Beside that, quality was good. Hopefully I will go there again and maybe will get you a better review.

The staff was so kind and lovely and the vegan pastry was irresistibly good that we had to go for another round right away! Highly recommended for a quick vegan sweet.

Absolutely delicious freshly baked pastel de nata - crunchy from outside creamy inside - something You must to try being in Bath 😋👍🏻 … or savoury Vegetariana - just perfect for breakfast 🙂

The Pastel de Nata was delicious and excellent value, while the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I accidentally left my shopping bag in the store, and they kindly kept it safe for me until I returned—such a thoughtful and considerate team! Great food, great people—couldn’t recommend this place more!

The severs are super friendly. They had four different kinds of pastel de natas which were biscoff, pistachio, Nutella and the original one. Initially, I tried the original one with latte. The tart was so delicious that I bought 4 more for takeaway. Also, there’s sitting space upstairs with a good view. I’d definitely recommend this place for a short break :)

I bought a surprise bag from Too Good to Go for £4. Although they only gave me one slice of nata tart, which is ordinarily cheaper than the price I paid, I asked for a bag, and the staff scolded me: "Do you know that paper bags also cost money? I don't have to give you paper bags all the time, so bring your bag next time!" I was so offended, and probably alongside the Nata, there is nothing worth going there.

Pastel de natas from here were delicious and with a gorgeous variety of flavours. The lemon curd one in particular was soo devilish. I loved that these weren't just topped with different flavours but that they were baked into the custard which made for a deeper contrast between the different varieties. Other pastries and pies also look delicious and easbsad I didn't get to try their savoury stuff. Staff were extremely helpful too. Came here a couple of times over my weekend stay.

WOW! If you are in Bath and want to try a fantastic family run coffee shop (& Bakery) [rather than a multi-national one], definitely come here. Great coffee, an unbelievably realistic taste of Portugal (Pastel de Nata) and probably the friendliest staff ever. Loved it.

5 stars best pastel de nata I ever had

Great location, right next to the bridge and the wier. We had a regular Latte and a soy cappuccino with a Nutella and a peanut butter Nata each. I wasn't expecting it but the Peanut butter Nata really hit. The combo works great, wholly recommend for any nutter butter lovers. Coffee is super smooth, I don't think I've had a bad coffee in any of the Nata & Co's.

Lovely, inexpensive, and a great view from upstairs. Took great care over non dairy milk, and snacks were lovely.

Love this place! We get the pastel de nata twice a week easily, One of the best I've tasted!

The best pastel-de-nata I've ever eaten. They have a lot of types to choose from, biscoff, nutella, apple etc. The dough was crispy, the cream was delicious. And it was still warm. It's a shame that they had a closed 2nd floor, and there were few places to sit. We also tried the meat bag and it was also good.

The custard tarts are to die for

These are dreamy! I tried one and had to go back and get a box (£2.05 each or £9.84 for 6).

Terrible service. Nata soggy and very sweet. They stopped sell coffee at 4 pm because the staff said they turned off the machine. Toilet was not available. Table and chairs were dirty with crumbs.

Very good pastel de nata bakery, they do standard, biscoff, Nutella, and lemon Pastel de nata tarts. They also do other snacks, hot, and cold drinks. Located near the Quay bridge it's very handy if you need to stop for a refreshing snack and drink. There are toilet facilities here and the staff are friendly. Recommended.

This place is delicious, but never order online - don't make the same mistake as I did! I have purchased a 50 pound gift voucher for my friend on 3rd of April, to be delivered to her on 4th of April. Not only did my friend never receive the voucher and I had to awkwardly ask her if she received anything, but also the company told me they can't help me and asked me if I want to cancel the order. They were not able to give me the voucher code nor resend it to my friend. This has ruined the experience and what was meant to feel like a nice gift turned into a chore. I will not be buying from this company again.

Vegan pastel de nata was very cold, but the plain ones were very fresh and nice. This place doesn’t really have any atmosphere as it looks like a takeaway dessert shop. As our table wasn’t cleaned due to short staff we cleaned our table before eating our dessert.

Amazing Pastel de Nata. So much variety but I went for the original one and I loved it so much! So soft, yet rich in texture.

Brilliant people, delicious authentic food, great coffee and great prices too!

We weren't even hungry but couldn't resist the vegan offering of custard tarts. My partner had never tried one and I thought I had but this was unlike anything I had ever tried before. Please I beg, the recipe! You can see the gentleman baking in the window and we noted how clean and tidy his set up was. Service was with younger people, sweet and fair. We were going to try one just to know but we're very glad we decided on one each. I have an allergy to gluten so was only going to have a bite but after said bite decided I'd risk the consequences!! Heaven!! The pastry was buttery and still warm with a gooey, luscious filling lightly flavoured, vanilla? Lemon? Cinnamon? All so delicately balanced I couldn't work it out but simply enjoy. I'd recommend to anyone. 11/10 for flavour. So good.

If you want the perfect coffee with the most delicious treats, you are at the right place. Also vegan options. We have been the fifth time in Bath and always come here for coffee and sweets. And also the staff is very friendly. Will come back in March. Happy Holidays 🍀

This place has lovely views of the bridge. It is quiet, spacious and the food here is delicious. There is a variety of Portuguese and Brazilian drinks which is great. The sweet and savoury Pastel De Natas are amazing. I have never tried those flavour combos before and they were superb Service was extremely friendly and attentive

On a recent trip to Bath went into this delightful bakery for the first time .. served by a lovely, smiley young lady who completely sold me their delicious Portuguese tarts ( first time for me) absolutely delicious, the best ever. Next time I’m in Bath, this will be my first stop.

The egg tart is cold, i was disappointed

My father and I went in for a coffee and a pastel de nata which he had never tried before. We also bought a savoury brioche and enjoyed both thoroughly. It’s good for a quick stop in between museum visits (Victoria and Holburne) and for delicious treats to take away.

Fantastic Portuguese Tarts (pastel de nata) we had them in Porta a few weeks ago and these were as good as the best we found there. Good coffee too.

Authentic, pleasure to enjoy these luke warm pastries. What a delight to find! Made with real ingredients milk butter sugar eggs cinnamon and lemon zest…. Hand crafted by a real Portuguese baker!! Phenomenal! Buy many, they are so easy to enjoy! Their coffees were fantastic too! Bravo!!

A wonderfully cozy cafe, I often stop by for a snack and a cup of coffee. Here I discovered the most delicious vegetarian brioche, desserts, and the most delicious coffee in all of Bath. And I like mostly the staff, they are always pleasant and friendly. I H highly recommend

This place has the best lemon meringue pie I have ever had. The chef makes it by hand in their storefront window. I had a slice shortly after he made it, and it melted in my mouth. Do not pass without getting a piece! I took it on the go when I was window shopping. Even if you have eaten recently, take a piece to go! You won’t regret it.

The pastel de Nata is excellent and warm! The pao de queijo leaves something to be desired. Really dense and just tastes like normal bread. Not cheesy at all

Delicious perfection! Freshly baked natas which are unlike anything I've ever had. They are crispy on the outside and the custard inside is smooth and creamy. I highly recommend this stop.

Nice small bakery, as it was a sunny day I sat outside and enjoyed a Flat White and Custard Tart and watched the world go by. Nice view of the hills over the River and Pultney Bridge.

It's not same as the other brand of Nata & Co in London. The cinnamon steals the flavor of egg and milk, and the tart filling too thin

I had an Arroz de Pato, it was delicious, one of the best meal I've ever had. The Pastel de Nata was also delicious. There are other options I want to try on my next visit. Staff is nice too, all very friendly.

Nice environment for a break if you need to have a pastel de nata. It is sweet for me but the crust is thin and flaky. The egg custard is also rich as it is in deep crust. So a fine place for a break

Wonderful friendly cafe in perfect location at the end of Pulteney Bridge. Pastel de Nata were divine, definitely better than many cafes in Portugal itself. Coffee was excellent too. Well worth the trip over from Bristol. Will be back soon Returned to try the Aroz com Pato (Duck Rice) which was authentic and excellent; lots of duck and chorizo in a filling saffron rice. Perfect for lunch.

An authentic Portuguese place. We went the for breakfast and the experience was delightful. They have a good quantity and variety of Portuguese staples and the service was great.

Having tried ones all over Portugal.. we were excited to try. Sadly they paled in comparison. The insides were a little too runny but worse.. something left a bad taste in our mouths. Like rancid oil or something. It might have been an off day for them.

Rubbish Nata, burned top, non-cooked/very fluid inside. Wasn’t even close to the ones in Portugal, even to the one I ate in Turkey.

Having recently spent 2 weeks in Portugal, and having gone on quite the tasting-tour of pastéis de nata while there, my husband and I were delighted to stumble upon this shop while rambling around Bath. We tried 2 of the original flavor, and were sorely disappointed. The crust had a very off flavor, like bad oil, and the custard was thin and somewhat watery. Imagine our disappointment, based on the other strong reviews.

It was empty when we arrived, but don’t be fooled by the small size - there is lots of seating upstairs and the atmosphere there is nice. Definitely recommend trying some of their Pastel de Nata (the cafe is literally named nata so you know it is good!!) and also vegetable brioche and almond tart. Staff was even so kind to offer take a photo of us, I had a beautiful birthday breakfast here.

I used to enjoy coming here until they started to round up the prices every time, if they state something is £2.50/£2.75 or £2.95, they will charge you £3 … paid £6 for a small codfish cake and rice muffin for takeaway, ridiculous!! You lost a loyal customer. EDIT : completely understandable that prices have increased, just don’t charge people different to what is listed and rounding the price up :/

Popped in here for a quick lunch bite and was happy I did! Grabbed a vegetarian brioche which was tasty, very chunky and filling, good value for money. What wowed me though was the traditional nata. Give it a try. Cinamonny, light, gorgeous flaky pastry. Felt like I was transported on holiday for a moment. Their signature for a reason!

Great Nata and a good coffee. Nice friendly place to sit upstairs and watch the world go past the window. I really liked the way the owners made a lady with a dog feel welcome. Petted the dog, then washed her hands before serving the next person...and the Natas are really good....if they had been warm then I would have said perfect

They don’t take either cash or Amex so it was impossible for me to pay. Not taking cash is useless for a coffee shop

My favourite cafe in Bath! Unpretentious, homely and the staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Best pastais I’ve had outside of Portugal, and better than some inside Portugal!
