I bought a surprise bag from Too Good to Go for £4. Although they only gave me one slice of nata tart, which is ordinarily cheaper than the price I paid, I asked for a bag, and the staff scolded me: "Do you know that paper bags also cost money? I don't have to give you paper bags all the time, so bring your bag next time!" I was so offended, and probably alongside the Nata, there is nothing worth going there.

Pastel de natas from here were delicious and with a gorgeous variety of flavours. The lemon curd one in particular was soo devilish. I loved that these weren't just topped with different flavours but that they were baked into the custard which made for a deeper contrast between the different varieties. Other pastries and pies also look delicious and easbsad I didn't get to try their savoury stuff. Staff were extremely helpful too. Came here a couple of times over my weekend stay.

This pastel de nata is among the best I’ve had, delivering a delightful balance of textures and flavors. Served at room temperature yet still fresh, the filling is custardy, smooth, and melts effortlessly in your mouth. The sweetness takes center stage, outshining the buttery notes slightly overpowering the overall profile. A hint of cinnamon adds warmth, while the subtly charred surface introduces a smoky depth that elevates each bite. The pastry achieves a near-perfect contrast: a crispy, golden exterior paired with a creamy interior. While the crust was slightly overcooked, resulting in a firmer texture than ideal, the overall experience remains exceptional. This tart stands out for its harmony of flavors and craftsmanship, solidifying its place as one of the finest I’ve tasted.

The best pastel-de-nata I've ever eaten. They have a lot of types to choose from, biscoff, nutella, apple etc. The dough was crispy, the cream was delicious. And it was still warm. It's a shame that they had a closed 2nd floor, and there were few places to sit. We also tried the meat bag and it was also good.

This place is delicious, but never order online - don't make the same mistake as I did! I have purchased a 50 pound gift voucher for my friend on 3rd of April, to be delivered to her on 4th of April. Not only did my friend never receive the voucher and I had to awkwardly ask her if she received anything, but also the company told me they can't help me and asked me if I want to cancel the order. They were not able to give me the voucher code nor resend it to my friend. This has ruined the experience and what was meant to feel like a nice gift turned into a chore. I will not be buying from this company again.

We weren't even hungry but couldn't resist the vegan offering of custard tarts. My partner had never tried one and I thought I had but this was unlike anything I had ever tried before. Please I beg, the recipe! You can see the gentleman baking in the window and we noted how clean and tidy his set up was. Service was with younger people, sweet and fair. We were going to try one just to know but we're very glad we decided on one each. I have an allergy to gluten so was only going to have a bite but after said bite decided I'd risk the consequences!! Heaven!! The pastry was buttery and still warm with a gooey, luscious filling lightly flavoured, vanilla? Lemon? Cinnamon? All so delicately balanced I couldn't work it out but simply enjoy. I'd recommend to anyone. 11/10 for flavour. So good.

Extremely poor service, the serving attendant was abrupt and rude. I went in to purchase a few Nutella and Biscoff Nata’s to be specific and wasn’t asked what flavours I wanted I was only asked how many I wanted - the serving attendant then assumed I wanted the traditional ones, which no offence I can get anywhere in London. She then persisted to process the transaction which I thought was the process as it was my first time in Bath as well as at that store, once the payment was made she handed me a box which at that point I said “how do you know which ones I wanted?” - She responded by saying “you didn’t advise” my friend replied and said “you didn’t ask”. There was a lot of back and forth and she continued by saying that she’s processed it already which tbh is not my problem as no one is going to make me pay for something I didn’t ask for - so I made her refund me my money which took a while to do and process what I wanted and not what she assumed I wanted. She was being assisted by this pleasant young Asian girl but this older woman was extremely rude and clearly doesn’t understand what customer service is and needs some serious training. The Nata’s were nice but next time I’ll just got to Bristol instead as the customer service left a bad taste in my mouth.

Having lived in Portugal for many years i was pining for the taste of my second home, very disappointed, the food , 3 types of pastries were bland, flavourless and nothing like any Portuguese food. Such a shame. Edit: The response that the too good to go bags being "leftovers" doesn't excuse the lack of flavour, flavour doesn't disappear.

As frequent visitors to the previous incarnation of Wilks in Bristol, we were delighted to discover its reopening, now in Bath. We made the journey out and were not disappointed. There are some changes, of course- this is much smaller, more intimate set up- closer to chef's table experience than a typical restaurant. The quality of the food however, and the reason we returned, remains exceptional. We had a wonderful evening. I do agree with another reviewer that it was chilly inside!

Our lunchtime meal was one of the worst Thai I've ever experienced. The pad Thai was a soggy sloppy noodle mess. Nill points for presentation and the flavour was bland and didn't really hint at what you would expect from one of Thailands well known dishes. The prawns were not very good quality and the chicken was dry and rubbery. Haven't tried any of their other dishes, but if this is representative, steer clear of this restaurant. Service was very good hence 2 stars
