Great service, use there own hole made chip spice which is the best I've tasted with a light drizzle of Korean sauce

Awful service, took over 2 hours to arrive but had clearly been cooked when ordered. Was clap-cold and completely inedible! Bao were solid and paper stuck to them, chicken was cold & dried out, loaded fries were a solid lump of congealed cheese and beef was slimy! All had to be thrown away, couldn’t eat it.

Chicken burgers had mini fillets half the size of the buns The taste was not for my liking but thats peraonal preference But to only use mini fillets is a rip of for the price Totally lets the dope brand down to its usally good quality good tasty food Definitely avoid

Food was delivered clap cold 2 hours late. Apparently they struggled to get a driver until then but that's no excuse for sending out the food that you'd prepared 2 hours before.

Took 2 hours and this is what arrived for the double Korean burger... nothing like advertised. No-one answered the phone was 2 minutes to cancelling. Everything was stone cold.

Food quality and taste has dropped massively since they reopened, chicken thighs are bland and the sauce is watery, beef is chewy and bland. I loved this place, but won't be rushing back.

Had to give them 1 star but they don’t deserve it as my food never came, my boyfriend ordered 8 days ago, through the app so no option to get a refund. Rang on the night phone was off been off every day since. I have emailed, sent messages on Facebook and instagram they have been read. No one has responded. Not the first issue I’ve had with them, my food came 3 hours late was told half of the order was missing because it was the last delivery and the shop was closed. Rang up next day found staff to be unhelpful and rude. Rang sister company dope, spoke to a manager who apologised and said to state my name on next order and would get some extras for the poor service and to cover the food we payed for and didn’t get. Did this, nothing extra came. Then you closed, thought on re opening customer service issues would be fixed but apparently they just turn the phone off now. It’s a shame really because the food is nice. When it comes and is correct which I think has been once when it first opened. Have ordered 3 times since and always an issue. I wouldn’t use the app to order due to if you need to get a refund you simply can’t, if you want to order I’d go through Uber etc.

Saw this on google maps, and had chicken bao buns and a spicy fried chicken burger last night. Spectacular food, all cooked fresh, and all staff so polite and helpful. Best street food I've had in ages, and the wife was gobsmacked with the flavour. She's never had anything close to that before. Thank you and well done.

If they are temporarily closed they should remove themselves from just-eat instead of letting their customers wait 45 minutes before cancelling orders

Hype has gone! Along side the flavours unfortunately like the chain DOPE. ordered Korean chicken strips, nothing like it used to be and without the slaw. salt and pepper chips soggy. The shine has gone!

I’m not sure of this particular guys name, however I bought some salt and pepper chicken strips today what wasn’t ready when I got there and the guy behind the counter gave me a free bottle of coke for my wait! 10/10 customer service and 10/10 food

Awful customer service, they don’t offer to correct food mistakes or offer refunds

So disappointed with my order. Ordered from Uber eats and when we tried to ring up to contact them they don’t answer the phones after we tried multiple times. The chicken is advertised to have sauce yet came with none on, was just normal battered chicken not Korean at all, the chips are very average and the noodles are too. Much better places to eat from wouldn’t get again.

Just had a chicken bao bun and salt and pepper fries. The chicken was crispy, sweet, spicy and absolutely delicious. The fries were great too. Excellent food and I’ll be back

Finally went to try this place out after seeing two reviews on youtube. The beef bulgogi was unreal, loved it full of different flavours! However i didnt like the flavours to the chicken at all! Staff were great too.

An absolute farce. Ordered on a Sunday and 4pm and came at 6.20pm with the completely wrong order. Customer service was atrocious. They simply didn't care. Do not use for delivery. This is the 2nd time they have done this.

I'd love to give more, the flavours are amazing, the taste is a sensation however they never seem to have tofu and I'm one of them pesky vegans. Hot and spicy needles are great!

Completely converted to Korean. Stopped at nang chicken just before going home to Skipton. Love Hull. Will be back, especially as Fin will be there for a year. Portions are massive and extremely tasty. Staff very friendly and keen to get your order made to perfection.

Nang Chicken was a place I was really excited about visiting as I seen a review by the Food Review Club who were raving about it. I ordered the Beef Bulgogi and Chicken Thigh pieces. I tried the beef bulgogi first which in all honesty was the dish I was looking forward to the most from the review. I have to say I wasn't blown away by it. It wasn't that tender, it had too much sauce and had these cubes of brisket instead of what was featured on the review. Gutted it wasn't what I'd hoped it would be. But the Chicken thigh pieces were gorgeous. Really nice coating both batter and glaze, really tasty and great value for money hence the fours stars. The English chap serving was excellent by the way. Really hope I just caught it on a bad night but will try again to make sure.

Unbelievable food cooked in front of you. Very cheap and extremely tasty. Two very charming lads that are eager to talk about the history of the place and their recipes. The brisket is to die for. I am so happy we found this place and will go on record as the best takeaway food I have ever eaten. Welll done boys and see you tonight for more chicken. Ten out of ten. Xx

Was ordering from them a lot, sometimes 2-3 times a week. Bought food a week ago, it was awfull dry pieces crispy chicken with barely any sauce on them. Gave them benefit of the doubt, ordered couple more times, same dry and tough chicken thighs and strips without sauce. Something happened to these guys and it is just nothing like it. Never ordering from them again.

This place is known for its chicken yet the chicken thighs we ordered tonight were 1) so dry and tough that I'm surprised my fillings didn't fall out and 2) did not taste Korean whatsoever. I also gave the beef brisket bulgogi a try as that's one of my favourite Korean dishes, again, I could not have been more disappointed. As seen in the photo, it was a tiny portion of around 6-7 pieces of meat, FOR £10.50!!!!! If it was amazingly tasty then I'd let it go but it wasn't, it was dry (surprise surprise) and extremely salty, it tasted like meat soaked in soy sauce, no other flavour (on the menu it said it was meant to be spicy, it wasn't). I was shell shocked by how much we had paid for that tiny portion of unpleasant, oily food. Then there was the K-Pop fries, sigh. Again, was just awful. It was topped with chicken bites that my metal fork could hardly get into. Let's not mention how the delivery took forever. But yeah, don't see what the hype is about. Never coming back again.

Really disappointing! Ever since we saw a food reviewer give this place glowing reviews, we have been desperate to visit. Travelled almost an hour and 30 minutes. Ordered and food was ready in 10 minutes. Got food back to the car and was massively disappointed. Ordered Korean thigh bites. Couldn’t chew the chicken as it was so dry, nice flavour but just inedible. Also ordered some K pop fries which had a sweet sauce with chicken and cheese. Again chicken was so dry. Actually broke two forks trying to stab the chicken ! Lastly the brisket which cost approx £9.50 which is what I’d been looking forward too. The amount of oil it was swimming in wasn’t pleasant but the taste was totally overshadowed by the saltiness of it. It was so salty it was inedible. I spent £23 and my mate spent £20 and we ended up throwing at least £30 of food away. Staff weren’t particularly friendly or chatty. Not sure if it’s gone down hill since the food review we watched but we certainly won’t be going back.

Used to love Nang Chicken, the chicken was always moist and even my chicken hating children liked it, but now it's inedible. Really disappointed. The chips were too salty and over seasoned.

Really nice. Staff are helpful and courteous. Only disappointment is that you cannot dine in The salt and pepper chips are a sweet crunchy delight for this South Korean take. Well worth a look

Just had noodles from there, what's happened they used to be some of the best I've ever had but I've had better out of a pot... £11 as well hardly any veg and just a load of chilli flakes on top same for the garlic ones too... Swimming in oil... Sorry won't be back

We spent over £50 on an order via Just Eat and normally we have no issues with Nang Chicken but on this occasion they where 40 mins late ( that was after a 1:40min estimated delivery on Just eat ) When we went to eat all the food it had gone cold + there where missing items from our order. We called to complain but the lady on the phone said she would pass on the message ( have not heard anything since). We did hear someone in the background angrily say " we can't give them a part refund for missing a few items" - a terrible attitude from them. I called them back the next day and the person on shift was really good and noted my address but said message us on Instagram and we will get this sorted, so I did. But it's been 4-5 days since the order and have not heard anything! I will never be using Nang Chicken again as there are plenty of other great independents with just as good food but without the terrible service.

Food is lovely. Should expand so we could eat in.

Impeccable food and service as always. The head chef Ryan really can’t do enough for you. This place embarrasses every Asian restaurant in Hull. If you want good quality food you’d be daft to go anywhere else.

What a little gem hidden away in a tiny kiosk! So tasty, so delicious, we will be back!

Ordered recently and was disappointed to find that the noodles no longer come with any veg in it just plain noodles and sauce and was the same price as before. Also got the chicken breast and it did not come coated in sauce, instead it came with a very small pot of sauce which was no where near enough for 12 chicken breasts and the chicken was pretty dry. Such a shame as used to be very good now its just over priced poor food

Ever since trying me and my partner have become regulars, always getting the signature chicken strips. However we was disappointed that it now comes plain with only a pot of sauce to cover the chicken vs been cooked in the sauce. This makes the chicken dry and doesn’t have the same taste just isn’t the same and so disappointed. Could at least let customers know changes to the menu thanks.

Very disappointed with the spicy wings which were smothered in what tasted like sweet n sour - definitely not spicy. Won't order from here again.

They just received a poor 3 out of 5 for food hygiene (see on uber eats), so I think they must be complacent hygiene-wise and massively disrespectful of their clientèle (me!), especially considering they charge 5* premium rates. Don't mess with our health! Not acceptable.

Terrible experience on more than one occasion now! Ordered noodles... Food still not arrived after nearly 2 hours waiting! We live literally less than 10 mins drive from the takeaway!! Called first time the guy said food has left on its way... Called twice more after this to be told they have delays and he will call the driver. Asked for a call back to be told another 15 mins... Over 2 hours it's nearly been to deliver some noodles??? Drive is less than 10 mins what is the excuse! Absolute rubbish!! Very rude not apologetic at all! These guys own Dope Burger etc in Hull and again service is awful and when you try and speak to someone they are rude and quite frankly don't care!

Nang Chicken is great! All of the food that I've had from them has come wrapped and hot and I can't recommend people to try this place enough!

3 hour late delivery. No one picking up the phone. Called and told driver was on my street. He arrived 30 minutes later, so obviously lied to. Food was so cold it could have come out of the fridge. Just awful

Customer service absolutely shocking! I placed an order on the app at 5pm for nang chicken. An order of £24 The order said 60mins (absolutely fine happy to wait) I waited an hour and a half with no delivery I then called the shop to ask were my paid for food was to be greeted with a very unpleasant man screaming down the phone at me before I could even ask how long my food was going to take The staff member who I assume was the chef said he had 25 people screaming and shouting at him at the shop and people at the shops orders take priority over people sat at home in the warmth. (That really shouldn’t be the case) I said if that’s the case they should be putting a longer wait time on the app or calling people to let them know about the wait on food, he said he doesn’t have control to do that. He stated he was extremely busy and said my order had not even been put on, I then asked how long it would be he said it would at least be on other half an hour before it would even be put on to be cooked meaning I’d be waiting over 2 hrs for some chicken and chips, I asked for it to be cancelled and refunded and he said he would take 48 hrs to receive as you can imagine I’m not only disappointed I’ve not received my food but extremely disappointed in the rudeness and lack of customer service from the person on the other end of the phone who did not even give me an apology. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years and always have had a great experience in all of your stores however this very unpleasant experience has now put me off and would not return and honestly wouldn’t recommend

Was nice 1st time thought the salt and pepper chips was the best I've had then they stopped putting any onions etc on them I asked for them to put them in today and they accepted my order but completely plain won't be ordering again

just had my first pan-fried Korean burger from nang chicken and I must say it was terrible. The sauce was lovely however that's where it ended, the chicken tasted old it looks an absolute mess and at the cost of £23 for two burgers I was expecting something decent. Overpriced garbage in my opinion, avoid at all costs.

I’m not from around this area so thought I’d try this take out....WOw wow and wow best chicken I have ever had... very impressed. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. Food came wrapped and hot. I cannot recommend this chicken enough beyond delicious..They deserve an award. I will be eating from here whenever I’m up from London

Ordered at 7pm food never arrived. Called over 5 times to ask for update after 8pm was told they had no drivers but theyd are borrowing one from another takeaway and food will arrive. 10.30pm food showed as delivered but no food was here so I called back and asked them to call the driver for update as its been 3 and half hours and showing delivered when its not, I was tired and beyond hungry at this point but still wanted to know where my PAID £26 order was! He replied with we dont have time to chase the driver im to busy cooking and hung up on me! Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Advice is dont accept orders when you have no drivers!

Had this once, not the sort of place id generally choose to go but had it while i was at work. Enjoyed it overall. Id probably try again at some point.

All hype, no substance. This was the most over seasoned meal I've ever had. The beef was so tender but you couldn't eat it as the salt and aniseed flavours killed off any other flavour. The burger was so chewy a dog would have had problems digesting it. The only saving grace was the thigh pieces which were nice. Complete waste of money

I wish I could rate this a five. The food is delicious and it is spiced perfectly. I had wanted to try Nang chicken for months and kept putting it off. Tonight I decided to give it a try so I could sit down, watch a film and relax. I ordered at 7 and unfortunately my food didn't arrive until half 9. It states a 90minute delivery time but 2 and a half hours was unacceptable. I did get offered 2 drinks for free by way of apology and the two times I spoke to someone they apologised and claimed it had been a really busy night. Part of me feels bad for leaving 2 stars as I did enjoy the food, but it put a bit of a halt on my evening. Some of the food arrived warm but the chips where lukewarm and by the time I finished I was eating cold chips. I would love to eat it again but I feel like my food was a little overpriced for the experience. Had it arrived on time and all hot, this would have been a five star.

All we can say is OMG the food from here is outstanding. A flavour explosion. Even our 9 year old daughter couldn't stop eating even though she full lol. Cannot recommend enough and worth the travel if not local.

This is my favourite chicken place hands down, nothing that could match up to it and i crave it all the time! My go to order is 6 thigh pieces with slaw and salt and pepper fries but i also highly rate the burgers just depends on my mood.

A firm favourite of mine. This is chicken like no other place in Hull or anywhere near it. Tasty and good value for money! I haven't been let down on quality or time taken to have food ready for me either. Top marks!

Best chicken choice in hull tastes amazing

Strongly recommended this place! The food is packed full of unique flavours unlike anything else in the city. Had the chicken thighs, crispy, sticky and coated in a spicy sauce, with the perfect garnish. The salt and pepper fries are the best in hull, make sure they’re on your order! The food arrived piping hot and within 30 minutes, cant grumble at that. You can tell these guys are proud chefs by the quality of the food i was served. I will definitely make this my weekly treat!

Tried twice now and both time was amazing. Really friendly staff and good atmosphere when ordering as onky a small booth so you can see exactly what is going on and how freshly your food is prepared. Recommend to anyone wanting something different and full of flavour.

Had nang a few times by far the best soy noodles iv had, would highly recommend, staff are amazing at what they do an love to cook for us customers.

Had soy and garlic tights and spicy strips. Food was amazing. Loved it. Recommended

Burgers are the best in the world 5/5. Prices are disgusting 0/5. Owner needs to wind his neck in, £7.50 for a burger, wouldn't be too bad but the locations are in well known dumps with one of them having nowhere to sit. Truth hurts but so did my wallet

Great burger and sides at a fair price.

The food was delicious and the size of the burger was reasonable. The prices are quite expensive as it is about £7 just for the burger and at a lot of places you would get chips with it for that price. It is opposite the train station carpark and their is not much space in the building to stand while ordering and nowhere to sit. This should be bigger so people don't have to wait for food on the street.

In honesty I avoided this place for years, because of its name. But this is a misdemeanour they mean dope as in the best there is. To be honest a friend offered to buy me one, the burger names almost put me off, but when I got my order, it was the best burger I've ever had from a burger bar. Yes they are expensive, but when your burgers are made using fresh mince, that is shaped and then cooked right in front of you, I've never seen that before and this is probably what makes them... well sorry for saying this... dope.

Without a doubt one of the best burgers I have had. The place doesn't look like much but don't let it fool you, I have been several times and the quality is always the same - perfection. I also highly recommend anything with candied bacon in. Enjoy!

Hands down the best burger I have ever eaten.

Probably one of the better burger bars in Hull, not the cheapest place but you are guaranteed quality meals.

Some of the tastiest burgers going and all cooked then and there. I've never eaten so much caramelized bacon before and I'll do it again.
