Nando's Nottingham - Victoria Park in Gedling

Visited tonight with a friend for the first time. The guy who showed up our table at 5pm was very welcoming and friendly. On ordering our food at the till the young lady called Jess was brilliant as we had no idea about the food. So refreshing to have fantastic service. The food was delicious and we noticed when dining that the whole team are great. We came out really pleased we have finally found a great eating place to meet up for our friends catch ups.

I went Sept 28 for a birthday treat and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was excellent Love Nando’s, will visit again very soon

Although I have not dined in, I have ordered for delivery a few times from this store and every time the food has been hot and delicious. They've never forgot an item and on occasions I have even received a free item with a kind note on! Delivery has been on time every time and the little touches of a flavour sauce sachet, piri salt and napkins always being in the bag show the staff are actually thoughtful and want you to enjoy your meal! My only dislike is the prices, but that's not a reflection on the store (£10 for just a ceaser salad!? I shall stick with the garlic bread thank you😆).

Difference between me and the chicken is that I shave before I get eaten. The glasses were dirty, everything was oily and a chicken just needed a shave

Visited my local Nando’s today and the service was super fast and friendly. Jay-Kay in particular is always helpful and welcoming :) the food is consistently delicious and the staff are quick to assist with any issues.

I came here with my family, which included my 4 year old son who is a diabetic. I went to order my food at the till and part of that order was a kids meal off the menu. The drink that usually comes with the kids meal is a carton of fruit juice which was the full sugar juice. This is not suitable for my son, being a diabetic. I kindly told the person serving me why my son can’t have this and asked if they had an alternative, like a sugar free juice. (Which is usually an option in most places, I’ve never been anywhere where there isn’t a sugar free or zero option) They said no, so I said okay, could he alternatively have a “zero” drink from the drinks machine, again I was told no. I then proceeded to ask, what are they going to offer my son to drink if they won’t offer me any alternatives to which they replied water. I am paying for a meal that comes with a drink and should not be offered water! This is unacceptable, I asked for a manager and explained the situation and was told my son could not have a zero drink from the machine and they will only offer him water with his meal. In the end after some back and forth, I had to buy my son a drink separately even though I have paid for a drink as part of his meal. I think this is poor service and extremely unacceptable, and unkind!!!! they should offer sugar free options or an alternative zero drink to those who especially MEDICALLY can’t have them especially when it comes with a paying meal. Thanks for making an already difficult condition even more difficult, and having to try explain this to a 4 year old.

Sad to say this branch was poor today ive been to all the nandos in nottingham and this was way below standard, waited twenty minutes for food in a half empty resturant, my chicken was barely warm and no follow up from staff.

Nando's didn’t disappoint the peri-peri chicken is always perfectly grilled, and the sides are delicious. Friendly staff and vibrant atmosphere make it a go to spot for a tasty meal.

When we arrived the staff were really friendly. We decided to go on a Friday night and it wasn’t super busy and was seated straight away. The food came quickly and was very nice. Would recommend

Always you will get wrong order happen to me so many times.

1 hour wait at 6pm on Saturday evening for a party of 2 when half the tables are available. Shocking service! I cannot understand why the restaurant was unable to give us a table!

Took my daughter after school/work. Staff was attentive as soon as we stepped in, was refreshing to hear the team ask about allergies etc Food was nice,hot and was done just the way we asked for. Price range was not an issue. As per any establishment they checked to ensure we was okay and that the food met our expectations. Only downfall is that I had to pay extra for BBQ sauce but nothing that affected our experience. Staff members Lizzie M,Kayden and Nat were super this evening.

This was one of the best meals from a nando I have had. I'd advise this place as a great place to eat out. I will be visiting again on Tuesday before I fly out to majorca. The price for half chicken chips and salad was less than 15 pound and it was a decent size portion. That's coming from a 17st guy who loves to eat. The only down side to my nando experience was they did a nasty beer in a bottle no pints on the pumps. Waitress was a lovely polite girl who didn't keep coming over and bothering us like they do at some places . Great place go visit 👍

My self and family visited the restaurant for a change. Service was absolutely disgusting, staff was very rude. I asked a member of staff for a spoon, the response from one of the serves was "we don't have any so you will have to either wait or use a fork" to eat ice cream!!!! ... the restaurant wasn't busy so no excuse not to help customers. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Much better places to eat and with better customer service. BETTER TRAINING IS NEEDED FOR STAFF.

Every single order for the last 6/7 orders we’ve ordered from here have come with a complete meal missing. You phone and they pass the blame onto deliveroo, but the delivery company do not pack the orders?! They refund the missing meal but then the rest of the family are eating there’s and there’s one that is sat with nothing, ruins the family meal treat! Order in the hope that surely it can’t be wrong again but wow.. it’s nice that the food that does arrive is nice but the whole missing a meal thing is getting tedious. Lesson learnt!

Jenny and Klarice served me and have appalling attitude. I ordered my food and Jenny put the number on the till wrong, when Klarice brought the food over the attitude was STINKING. I don’t know who these staff think they are but I will be emailing head office as the customer service is disgusting and it reflects in multiple of these reviews. Something clearly needs to be done about the staff. This is far from a good Nando’s, giltbrook and showcase remain favourites.

Best nandos I’ve ever been too!! My last nandos experience in MK stadium was my highest rated but this has absolutely topped it for me and my partner!! Food was so delicious and fresh!! We will continue to come here eventhough it’s a longer drive. Thank you!! Such lovely staff, they keep the place so clean. :)

Best Nando’s I’ve been to….it’s that simple!

Food was better than the nandos near showcase. Unfortunately not 5 stars as the person on the till literally took 20 minutes to take an order per person and that is not even an exaggeration. I understand people are new but nobody was even helping to cut down the queue.

Awful experience yesterday for our first time visiting here. The place wasn't very busy so we're able to get a nice table for 5 of us. Tried to order off the app but none of us could get a decent signal so had to order at the till. The woman at the till put items on both orders through wrong - my order she put the wrong and the 2nd order for my table two items were ordered but she only put one through. We wouldn't have had a problem with this normally as I know mistakes do happen but it's how it's dealt with that matters. When my wrong drink came i told her that I had ordered a cider. She went off and came back with the receipt and said it say on the receipt you ordered IPA. No I ordered a cider. Are you sure? Of course I'm sure, I'm not senile! I know what I like! With the second mistake we got similar. According to the receipt you only ordered one. No I ordered two. Rather than making the customer feel responsible for your cashier's mistakes it would be better to offer a solution instead. I understand why it was mostly empty on a Saturday afternoon

Quick service, great food, plenty of parking

Very poor. Service rubbish, bread soggy, chicken tasteless, chips cold, room chilly. Disappointing. Won't visit again.

Everything is nice and the staff is good. 3⭐️ only because the portion was significantly smaller than us other Nando’s. I’ve got a vegan chicken wrap and it is the size of an appetiser. I’ve been to a few Nando’s in Newcastle and London and was full from their portion size. In this branch it’s smaller and I left hungry. The taste is great, just the size guys! Just a little something to make better. All the non vegan people at the table were full and only my plate was tiny. Hope you can make it compatible size with the other dishes for vegans. Otherwise everything is good and would go again to give it a try when I’m back to Nottingham.

Perfectly cooked unlike some other branches. Grate modern atmosphere grate service. All serving girls are helpful, “India” & “Klartice” was rapidly responsive.

Terrible customer service and terrible food at this Nandos, tried to get refund for uncooked food and basically tried to get out of returning funds to my account and ended getting refund in cash but complete shambles of a place.

Had a really great experience here, served by Rowan and Klarice who were lovely, couldn’t recommend enough!

I ordered a takeaway recently and the service was great. The food was ready at the promised time and was delicious. Highly recommend 👌

Lovely food and service. Prefer being able to order on the phones rather than going up it’s a good change to the restaurant. Great atmosphere. Needs a bit more parking because if it’s busy you have to park in Morrisons car park.

Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Didn't give 5 stars as not all the staff were friendly and approachable. The price of the food was also expensive and the portions were on the small side.

I enjoyed my meal, I went with my family. My partner wasn't to happy with his said the chicken wasn't fully cooked and his rice was under cooked. My kids like there's overall enjoyable. And convenient with it only being 15 minutes drive from our house.

Nandos is always a solid choice. You will never be disappointed and the food is always good

I've been a few times with family now, and can honestly say it's been perfect every time. The staff are fantastic, and have always been very helpful with dietary needs as we have a coeliac in our party.

Friendly and caring staff, accommodated for myself and my partner with our newborn by giving us a table with plenty of room out of the way, food was great and good value for money.

I had a lovely experience at this Nandos with all staff being polite and kind. The manager took time to handle a misunderstanding and was very help. The restaurant was clean with good vibes 👌🏽 would recommend this place based on the service alone! Thank you to staff working today :)

Everything you would expect from a Nando's - efficient service, tasty food and reasonable value. Staff were friendly and chicken dishes were good as expected from any Nando's. Easy parking.

Food arrived quickly and was delicious however some days the delivery isn’t available and I don’t know why because the restaurant is open.

Nando's at netherfeild branch, food was good service very good the only problem was we sat in a window seat, sun blaring through the windows. No blinds unable to move as place was so busy. That was the only problem but did make meal uncomfortable

I went to Nandos netherfield and its now 04.18 am in the morning and I've been up all night with pains in my stomach cramps and so has my partner. Food was luke warm and I ate it as we were really hungry. Its such a shame as its beautiful in there and staff were friendly. Im poorly and very upset

Having dined in and ordered to collect, I was very happy with my experience at this new venue. Laura hosted well, and Isabel went above and beyond with both my collection orders - she was most helpful. The waiting times were perhaps slightly longer than at the established venues, but as a new venue (likely with new staff), I'm sure this will improve as they gain experience. I will certainly be coming again!

Isabelle , the host was mint ! Smashed it, we had a new born ( 4 months old ) was so accommodating. Rowan the manager mint ! Toilets had hand wash for once… clean and tidy. Just goes to show how poor the other nandos are … keep it up guys ! Man with 11 nandos cards !

Not even worth over £30 on start! Could have been warm, chicken breasts were more like pidgeon breasts - a small one at that! The only praise I have is for the delivery on time. Won't be ordering again.

Throughly enjoyed our experience at nando's last week. My family and I were greeted at the door by a very smiley and welcoming girl named Ebony and were served by another young girl named Emily, who was very informative about the menu and very prompt with what we needed. The food was pipping hot and very tasty. Would definitely come again

I was welcomed by a beautiful smile at the front door who made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. It was a girl with dark hair. A lady called Emily served me at the table and frequently checked to see if I needed anything and if everything was okay with my meal. I will definitely be returning to this Nandos.

Just back from trying the New restaurant at Netherfield. Great start , was greeted by a lovely man who took us to our table , the sun was blaring so asked to be moved (I suggest you invest in some blinds) we ordered our food and drinks via the App, not a fan of this if I’m honest , I like interaction with a human . We waited about 10 minutes and still no drinks , I was about to ask when they would be arriving and our food arrived , All the food looked lovely but we had to ask twice for cutlery, by this time the food was just warm . However , still no drinks and asked again , eventually they turned up . Food was tasty but would of been nicer if it had been hotter ( not the kitchens fault) I don’t like the concept of ordering your own food, I appreciate you can ask for a server to take your order but trying to get any interaction with a actual person was rather difficult. There were plenty of staff on duty but not one person came over to our table to ask if we needed anything or was it ok. We had to ask for everything we needed. You don’t expect that when you go out for dinner . We spent about £85 for three people , no starters , 3 mains and 2 desserts, two soft drinks few and a couple of glasses of wine , I think that price deserves some actual service , we were up and down having to ask for most of what we ordered. A big shame as it’s local but won’t be going back . I work in hospitality and your front of house staff need training , the young staff you have working there need to be trained properly, they were all lovely when you spoke with them but little confidence, this comes down to your management .

My husband and I visited for lunch today and the whole experience was fabulous. Lovely welcome, lovely food and lovely staff. Special mention to Bailey who is a credit to you. It’s a new restaurant but that made no difference at all, we were still impressed by the food and service, we will definitely be back!

I must say the place itself look very welcoming and it's nicely decorated. Our food was delicious and on time. Isabel was very helpful and she was making sure we were ok. I'm sure the teething mistakes are normal when a restaurant starts from scratch. We definitely be back soon. Well done everyone.

Abby was absolutely amazing. My brother was having a hard time and she accommodated for his every need. She was so caring and even gave him a chocolate brownie to cheer him up. Thank you abby!

Didn’t get my rewards on my card. Never been ask for a card before ordering. After I’ve asked for it cashier took my card number on but of paper and never got it in the end.

Came into the new Nando’s service was great but one meal was cold, so we sent it back and they sent same food out and literally chucked a slice of cheese on top it was like stone cold! Was so disappointing And it wasn't even that busy! Front of house staff was great and the manager was very professional and said she would talk to them as they admitted just sending it back out!

Took 10-15 mins for the drink glasses to be brought over and then 40 mins for the food to be served yet I could see it sat in the kitchen under the lamps for well over 5 mins. Counted over 22 staff. Hopefully these are just teething problems.
