Staff were amazing, informative and friendly, great engagement with our group, good banta!Food was on point delicious Took no time at all, the speed it came out was great cause we were starving.Really impressed with even though there are covid restrictions you still feel like your in a Nando’s and you get looked after ☺️

Food was delicious and came quickly with great staff who were quick, reliable, funny and made the experience sooo much better. Thanks Nando’s will definitely be coming back

This was my first visit to Nando's and as I do not eat meat I was not sure of what to expect. I had the meat-free wrap, which was delicious. The sides of salad and chips were also nice. Both the food and wine were very good value for money. Overall, a nice visit and I will be back for more!

thank you to the lovely lady who sat us last tuesday, although it was busy you were still attentive, friendly, and kind, a further thank you to the man who served us and fixed the issue with my food without my complaint, the food i was served was amazing and good quality for the price. I visited the Nando’s Stanway Colchester for a lunch time treat to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We enjoyed the nice , relaxing , clean and welcoming setting as we both ate what we ordered- a starter o mixed nuts with a quarter chicken ( hot and medium peri peri flavour) fries, corn on the cob and a mango quencher drink. The meal was delivered to our table in good time , hot and tasty . The staff were approachable, pleasant and gave good service throughout our time there.

We came to Nando's for lunch today. Unfortunately there was an issue with a gift card(not Nando's fault) but spoke with Thelma the manager who quickly helped us rectify this. All staff were incredibly professional and Thelma was very patient and lovely throughout. As always, the food was great!

Thelma was excellent when I came in with my two children who have a dairy allergy. She was so helpful and knowledgeable and lovely to my children. Thank you Thelma.

I was up in Colchester visiting a friend. We both became fairly peckish. We decided to head Nando’s for lunch. We both decided to have the Fino Pitta which is what I always have when I go to Nando’s. The food was good but the service was poor. When the food came over the waitress put the meals down, she didn’t speak to us, not even to say “enjoy your meals”. I asked the waitress if I could have some BBQ sauce and Mayonnaise, she didn’t acknowledge that I’d even spoken to her. She walked away and just went and stood by the drinks machine area. This is the 2nd time that I’ve visited recently that this particular waitress has ignored me. On both occasions I had to go to the front counter and get the sauces myself after it became apparent that I wouldn’t get them if not. Other than that the food was delicious as always. I most probably will be back, but please ensure that staff are being attentive!!!!

Had a lovely meal on Friday and were well looked after by Matt, even though the restaurant was busy he still managed to give us a choice of tables and was very attentive a nice evening made all the better by polite and quick service!

We came here midweek for lunch whilst shopping. I didn’t like this experience at all and won’t be returning. The tables were sticky as were the menus. The food came quickly, it looked ok but it wasn’t nice. I had chicken thighs and they were slimy and that put me off. The toilets were dirty and that is off putting enough.

If you like Nandos then this is probably the best place to come, if you like saving money than you can buy the ingredients in any supermarket.

First time at this restaurant and didn’t disappoint. Up to the usual expectations of a Nando’s and whilst busy they managed to seat and serve within 30 minutes. Good location, plenty of parking. Will visit again.

Nando’s is always great. But On this occasion, I was told that Nando’s was out of perinaise. I was in total shock until Matt found a little pot and I was happy. Well done matt 😊

Nando’s never seems to disappoint, super good chicken love how you can choose how spicy you would like it. I would highly recommend the spicy rice as it is to die for. Also the butterfly chicken burger, which is messy to eat however it is the best on the menu the bread is super fresh and crispy on the out side as it is slight toasted. However it is usually busy so book I’m advance.

Never a let down, love coming here, sometimes wish it wasn’t so busy but I guess that’s what happens when it’s popular, would recommend the sunset burger! It’s amazing.

Me and my boyfriend went through the classic “first date at nandos” scenario.. we have our date table and favorite meals, the big surprise for us always is the staff. Taking him down to nandos to celebrate with his favorite cheesecake, the manager offered to print out a note for him with nandos sign and so he did.. last time we went they run out of broccoli, the manager came down himself to serve us, apologized, offered a reasonable swap and gave me an extra side on top of that, everyone is always smiley and approachable

Our first time at a Nando's (yes, I know, where have we been!) Our waitress Lauren was brilliant! Went above and beyond on all levels of service - so helpful, explained all about how the menu/ordering worked and was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, with a surprise little gift as it was our first visit too! The food arrived quickly, piping hot and very tasty, prepared and cooked to a great standard! Can't wait to go back!

Me and my family visited last month. The food was excellent we had no complaints food come out nice and hot and nothing had to be changed etc. Restaurant nice and clean and staff were helpful and kind. No complaints from us at all and we will definitely be back

Nando's è eccellente per pranzi veloci ma sfiziosi. Un'ottima alternativa per mangiare qualcosa di più sano di Mc Donald's, ma allo stesso tempo veloce. A volte bisogna aspettare fino a mezz'ora per potersi sedere ma è possibile riservare il tavolo e tornare più tardi. Pollo sempre ottimo e è possibile scegliere tra diverse salse piccanti da aggiungere (o anche nessuna!). In estate il giardino interno è un luogo tranquillo (ma allo stesso tempo in centro Colchester!) dove ci si può rilassare e gustarsi il pranzo. Servizio veloce e impeccabile, tutti i camerieri sono simpatici e disponibili.

One of my friends told me that when I would go to the UK I should visit a Nando's restaurant. So I did as told and didn't regret it. Very helpful people, explaining and showing everything to a simple Dutch tourist. And then the food which was delicious. I loved the chicken very much. Very tasty and juicy.

First point I will make is we visited at 5pm on a Saturday so expected it to be busy, however we were told there was a 10 minute wait for a table which ended up being 20 minutes, we then ordered and waited for our food for 40 minutes. With 2 young children with us it was hard to keep them entertained. Other people that were seated after us were served first and we ended up asking a waiter (after trying to get the attention of 3 others) to check for us and we had been forgotten. The food was ok (eventually), part of the order was wrong but not the end of the world however I honestly don't believe it was worth the money, we had 1 sharing platter, 1 child's meal and 3 drinks and it was more than £35. I don't think I'd go again I'm afraid.

Great place to go for comfortable seating nice atmosphere and good ☕️ . The free wireless make it a good place to get out the laptop / phone and catch up on some work.

We got there and look around to see if someone will greet us and show the table and the menu. After a while we sit down by our self and waited for the menu, after more time I got up and grab the menu and when finished choosing I went to the cashier and order and paided right away. The food was good but I don't like to see red near the bones of the chicken, that means that was not properly cooked. In the end I got up and a waiter rushed to us to greet us and after a quick deduction I understood that she thought that we were leaving without paying, so no communication and the only interaction with us was to leave the food and ask to pay.

Terrible experience!!! Waiting at the door for over 10 minutes whilst staff members walked past and not acknowledging us. If not, they would walk past and just stare.

Visited the new Stanway Nandos for the second time at the weekend. I wanted to see if I had the same experience the second time as my first time with the taste of the food. Well, I was not disappointed. It was just as delicious and the taste lasted through the afternoon into the evening.

Always can rely on Nandos for quality chicken very nice chicken wings. Refillable drinks and good conversation with friends.

Visited many times . Colchester and Braintree branches are superb n fresh cooked chicken clean too . Chicken livers are great too

Chicken and chips OK but they only had a side plate for us to eat off. Far too small for the size off chicken. Had to leave loads as just no plate to cut it off the bone. When asked for normal size plates we were told they didn't have any clean - however only 5 tables in use!!!

Found the waitress and waiter to be very friendly especially Aran. The food we ordered came promptly and tasted very nice but found the food quantity to be a little scarce. Chicken was cooked perfectly however. Would recommend to others to pay a visit.

Nandos Colchester used to be consistent in great food and service but last two visits have been sub par due to dry overcooked chicken, change in management or staff?

Went to Nando’s for lunch today. Was quickly seated in the main restaurant on the back wall near to the drinks machine.

The restaurant was about half full when entering and ordering food. Seen too quickly with friendly staff. Ordered food which come within 10 minutes. Food was fresh and hot (temperature).

Nandos isn't fine dining, but as far as Nandos goes, it's cheap and cheerful and the food in the Colchester restaurant is great.

The starters arrived at the same time as the main meal!!!!!! Chips were totally disgusting and were visibly Mcain oven chips!!!! The food was luke warm. Won't be eating in there again.

Place is terrible. My family regularly visit nandos all over as it's a quick meal but we are aware service is minimal which is ok however price of their menu does not reflect this. They are lazy and quite frankly slow. When asked for a missing item I had ordered no one returned and had to go up and ask to then still wait. A very larger man looked like he needed to learn how to smile as he was rude to the staff we could see and instead of helping us out when I asked where our item was he turned around and screwed his face up. Won't be returning to this branch ever

We are regular visitors to Nando’s Colchester. The staff are always courteous, we are seated quickly, and the food arrives promptly. Good quality food at reasonable prices!

I don't dislike Nandos but to me its just chicken with some sauce on which you can do at home. having said that the service is always really fast and the staff members are excellent. the variety of food and quality of the food is always fairly good and the cleanliness is gets a big thumbs up from me. I suggest having a couple of super bocks with the grub.

They ran out of chicken! It was the ‘Cheese Shop’ sketch all over again. As I went through the menu followed by “sorry,no” we cut to the chase ... “Burger Sir?” Grrr “No thank you”

A standard night out in Nando's. always great food, pretty good waiter staff, self service drinks, etc. Nice surroundings, great location. Nice touch offering a voucher to return in January.

Usually the wait is quite long, for both a table and after ordering. This was brought out rather quickly and by friendly staff. The member of staff taking the order was also very friendly and recommended changes to the order.

My daughter is just back from a 14th birthday bash with her friends ....14 x 14 yr olds. Well done Nandos, full of praise for food & staff, she loves Nandos even more now. Thanks everyone.

Never visited a Nando's before and was pleasantly surprised. Fast efficient service by able staff. The chicken was excellently cooked and served with good side dishes.

We stopped here today for a quick business lunch we got a nice quite table enjoyed good chicken with good side dishes . Staff were efficient and it did the job as everybody enjoyed it .

Haven't been here for a while, and after today won't be going back !! The place wasn't that clean , considering we were eating at 12.15 and they hadn't been open long ?? The prices have show up and the quality has gone down. The chicken thighs were inedible, there was probably more moisture in the napkins!! For 3 meals and 3 drinks it was £51. Poor value, poor quality and will never return as there is so much more choice and quality in Colchester

I chose chicken pitta mango a lime with cheese and chips and a soft drink , the service was great and we didn't have to wait to long for our lunch .

My partner and I decided to travel to Colchester for Nandos whilst staying overnight near Clacton and we were very impressed. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely! Will definitely come back again when in the area!

Always enjoy a Nando's at this restaurant. I am always pleasntly surprised at how fast the food arrives at the table here, this is something which has been regular more recently. It's not 'fine-dining' however it does taste good. I personally enjoy it, I know it is not for everyone but it is a quick cheap eat!

Hard to rate Nandos as its6standard fare. Food was ordered and brought out. Staff were rushed and a bit confused. Ordered a bottle of Rose and a glass only brought out. Tried the Mozambique beer.

Food is always great at Nando's, never had a complaint with the menu. The service from the manager Gus is outstanding, always smiling and goes out of his way to make sure you enjoy the visit, definitely return.

Visited on a Friday evening. Ordered our food & then seemed to be forgotten.

After a slight slip up with the ordering, meaning one dish had to be sent back because of dietary needs, the whole team was so lovely to us and made it up by showering us with free drinks and deserts. The whole team was genuine and lovely. It was only a slight error but boy did they make up for it! A great evening.

We came here often mostly to pick up a take away but some occasions we have ate inside. Typical Nando's with the great atmosphere and the smell of their good food. Colchester venue has plenty of tables including an outside area. The service is excellent.

Had another lovely lunch . I've never been disappointed. The food and staff are lovely . The chicken is always tasty and juicy . The service is fast , staff are knowledgeable and friendly . Even on busy days you feel welcome .

We've been a few times with our little one and staff staff are always so helpful and welcoming. Giving us a big round table to help with the pram etc.

Having been shopping in Colchester, we decided to have tea at Nando's. We have never had a poor meal here. Food is lovely and the staff are friendly. My boys went to get the frozen yogurt but the machine had switched off making it all runny. A lovely kind lad called Connor spotted my boys concerned faces and came straight over to explain the machine had switched its self off and would they like an ice cream instead. Of course they did. Thank you Nando's and your staff. We will see you next time for chicken that you always cook so nicely.

Not a bad visit overall but the staff seemed quite flustered due to such a crowded entry area and at times seemed not able to manage with more people coming in. When spoken to it weren't exactly friendly and definitely not welcoming.

Good quality fresh food at reasonable prices and unlimited refills on drinks a nice touch. Recommend it for all ages something for everyone

Nando's chicken is good. Love the different spicy salsas and the grilled halloumi is the best. Really good to have a casual dinner with friends. Disappointed that they try to push you out on your second drink re-fill. They should not do re-fill drinks if they cannot allow you to stay and chat a bit I guess.

Used to be a fan of nandos , the quality of chicken seems to be pretty poor now , my food was dry and tasteless despite the lemon and herb choice .

Love Nandos, its pretty busy on a weekend had to wait 30 minutes for a table. However once ordered food came pretty quick! Friendly helpful staff too.

The food at Nando's is always good but the service can be very hit and miss. Trying to order food can take ages because there never seems to be enough people available to take your order at the tills.

I love Nando's and the food is lovely whichever restaurant I visit. But this restaurant was truly lovely, very clean. The service was fantastic. It was quite busy but we were waiting a max 15 minutes for our food. Will be returning.

Come to nando two times in 1 week and had the same waitress. She was very helpful and even moved us as we was cold to a warmer part of the restaurant and turned the air con down. Food was lovely as always

I love this place for its food and atmosphere. Wonderful healthy sides and chicken which is really tasty. Good service and I really like paying as you order because I don't have to wait for a bill at the end. The hot sauce is really hot and tasty!

Went here Sunday and to say it was a good experience would be a lie.the chickem wings roulette were not spicy at all were cold but they went well with the cold sweet potato wedges and the cold chips on all our kids meals the chickem burgers were also cold the food was chucked on the plates I watched the waitress walking around looking for our table no one came to see if everything was fine and the velux window above our heads was disgusting we had dried on food on table food on chairs shabby paintwork ice machine was dirty and unresponsive and the whole time in there was a let down from the moment we walked in as was ignored for 5 mins plus before we got seated and it has to be the worse nandos I've ever been into and would never go there again

I went here with my friend on a Tuesday evening & it was so busy! We got ignored a few times by the front door (a simple I'll be with you in a minute would have done) before we got seated. The food was lovely as always, cheap & cheerful!

Always busy in here, not my 1st choice. The service is always rushed. Ok food, but the pitta wrap is more salad than chicken. Not a lot of chicken. With drinks the 2 meals it came to £23. Ok for lunch, but there are a lot of places to eat in Colchester that are a lot better than here.

It's a bit difficult to get excited about Nandos, at the end of the day its just bits of chicken cooked healthier than say going to KFC but it costs more money.

Not my choice but it seemed an ok idea. My hot chicken tasted no different to my mates medium and the chips are very average. The food is ok for the money but I could do better at home for a lot cheaper. But must admit the service was very good

Not my choice , but someone we were wth wanted to eat here. The place was busy, but really dirty ! The toilets were even worse. As the disabled toilet is only available through asking staff you would hope that it shouldn't have any issues , but it was filthy. Not just from a days use either. Food ok, but not amazing. Some changes to the menu since our last visit. The boneless chicken thighs were nice , but expensive for the size. Won't be rushing back !

You can't beat a cheeky nando's! Me and my partner went here and asked to sit outside because the weather had been brilliant all day. Although nobody else was outside they let us out there and we had the garden to ourself which was lovely!

It's a Nandos so most people know what they're going in for. If you've never been before they do some things slightly differently from other restaurants but don't worry, the staff are there to guide you!

Everyone knows what nandos is about, you go there expecting some tasty chicken and some sides to compliment, last time I went here, the chicken was bland as you like. Not at all impressed.
