Fast amazing service ! Delicious food

Good awful and cold. Not asked how our meal was. When we asked for help with cold meals we were told it was hot when it came out. It definitely wasn't.... Very poor.

No table service apart from food delivery. Given a choice of an app to order or go to the counter.

Very quick and efficient customer service.

I ordered food to pick up at 20:40, I arrived on time, Didn’t leave the restaurant until just after 21:00. No apologies for being 20 minutes late. The food was all there this time, but Only Peri Salt on one of the Chips. Very poor. *

As a Seffrican girl I love Nandos. This is a great one, nice restaurant, great staff. Best peri peri chicken livers, delicious cheesecake.

Sadly, the Chesterfield branch of Nando's has really declined. We were told on arrival that they had a 30-minute wait on food. It was a Friday evening, so this was not an issue for us. We ordered on the app 2 minutes after being seated and our order was confirmed. After 25 minutes our drinks arrived, but 45 minutes after ordering we still had no food. The two main issues were that a number of delivery app drivers arrived whilst we were waiting, and at least 3 groups arrived who knew the staff working this shift. These tables were served before our table, and they were tables of 5-8 people compared to our table of 2 adults and 1 child. When we complained about the delay, one of the meals arrived within 10 minutes. However, it took another 20 minutes for the main meal to arrive. The restaurant was only 25% full, so I can only assume they were prioritising online orders and Uber deliveries over restaurant orders. Not great.

The best Nando’s I’ve been to. And never was a fan until this visit. We had a busy weekend walking in the dales and on our way home needed something to eat we had booked the harvester but didn’t bother sitting as it was a dump. The service at this Nando’s was great and attentive. Food was delicious and generous portions. The atmosphere was good too. They all seem to work hard

Nice tasty meal. My personal preference is always to have a waiter/waitress to take our order instead of using the app with the barcode on the table.. yes I did go up to counter where they had a person taking orders... but as most people decided to do the same there was a bit of a queue... The other thing is that without a waiter/waitress to ask questions about the menu... like how hot are the sources really etc it is not a very welcoming process just selecting meals via the app. No chic chat or friendly welcome so the dining experience to me is diluted.

Busy and due to a software problem, which caused a slight delay. However was treated with dignity and by a very polite chap by the name of Josh, very helpful and wa very honest about the issue's. Always find the staff here very professional and despite how rude some patrons can very, always hadle in ona relaxed manner. Food always well prepared and decent portions.

Nandos has been one of my favourite places to eat over the years. When they began delivery, I thought this was amazing. The delivery/pickup service over the years has been so hit and miss that it got to the point if I don’t want to eat in the restaurant, I’d order a pick up to ensure nothing was missing. Even then, I’d often catch something amiss and they would have to quickly cook it and then offered some free desert or drink for me having to wait. Recently I’ve been unwell, so decided let’s give the delivery a new chance as we haven’t had Nandos for some time. As usual, items missing and one of the chicken breast missing a sizeable chunk. If only this was the end, as I called the customer services number to report poor quality of the order and missing items. I was told this was to be escalated and to expect an email and asking we send pictures. I’d rather have just simply has a refund for the missing item and feedback to the restaurant about the quality, but was told that we have to email them the pics once they have emailed us to proceed. Lo and behold, no email the following day resulting in another call to customer services where they confirm it’s been escalated and to expect an email from them in the next 24 to 48 hours where we will have to email the pictures. I requested they place a note on the case: This is terrible service on top of terrible service. I suspect the poor service is due to what appears to be a high turn over of staff and hiring inexperienced service staff. This was the final straw for Nandos, after years of patronage, we are done.

Standards nandos doesn't disappoint

Arrived early afternoon today on a Tuesday so not very busy. However, all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful even as a single diner. The quality of food was excellent and arrived in a very reasonable time. Lovely atmosphere with comfortable lighting and the music was relaxing but not too loud that you’d couldn’t have a conversation in a group. I’d definitely consider coming here again and perhaps with a group. Thanks!

Tried this place again after a couple of bad experiences and they seem to have turned it around. Nice food and quickly served.

Was okay as far as most Nandos go nowadays. Staff seemed under pressure and looked like they were taking care of online delivery orders as opposed to actual in-house diner's. Our food was cold, but that may have been because it was ready for around 15 minutes before someone got a chance to bring it to our table.

Nice girl greeted us and although we had to wait for a table for about 10 minutes she kept us informed. The food was good and the option to order at the table or the till is fab. Outside is a huge free carpark

Where to start... A warm friendly greeting..our 1st visit..Charlotte our server explained the menu and sauce range. Advised on my vegetarian options. Table ordering app was easy to use. Food was served quickly. Wow... the meals were amazing..the best I've tasted in a long time.. veggie food can be bland, not here!. highly recommend the lemon and herb sauce too.. 5*s is really not enough for this great restaurant. We had Yousef as our server and he was lovely. Went out of his way to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. Could tell he was a genuinely nice person. Would come back again.

We had a very warm welcome into the restaurant all the staff were lovely and polite especially charlotte who came to check up on our food and made sure we were 100% happy with everything and then stopped for a lovely little chat as she took our food, excellent service !

I’ve been to a lot of Nandos across the country but this Nandos is by far the best. Arrived at 12 noon on Saturday 4th November. The food came out so fast and the guy serving us went above and beyond. He asked if we would like any sauces fetching etc or a glass of water. I have never been to a Nando's and been offered these small gestures. He was very friendly and helpful, sorry I didn’t get his name !

Fast turn around after ordering via the app, quiet and clean inside. Food was very tasty, chicken thighs were the best I've had from Nandos, juicy, succulent and flavoursome. Will deffo return.

Food was good my only issue was the skin on the chicken was just a soggy mess! The new platter was amazing though but I preferred Meadowhall Nandos much more for quality. It's a lovely big restaurant with great decor very clean :) again my only issue was the music being so loud we couldn't hear the server and you have to shout just to be heard if it was down a little that would be great just for conversation purposes.

So told to wait 15mins until we could enter, given menus told to sit down, if I go to a restaurant I want a human to take my order. Not order on my phone (covid is over) we weren't aware or told we need to oder on the app (who reads a menu like a book?) What of i didnt have a smart phone??20mins later we realised after being ignored, £38 for 3 snacks not really meals, food was OK, no sweet chilli on my pitta and hallumi was 2 of the thinnest slices I've seen must be on rations, boneless chicken was a bit black so we're the mushrooms, best thing was the chips, 3 pots of bbq dip had something all over the lids and would only swap one when brought to attention, unhygienic tbh, staff don't seem happy to be at work

Food was decent but they had no chicken thighs. And didn't tell us until we went to order. Which was annoying as I had to go back to table and then wait for everyone to pick other items

The food is great, but the service was poor

Katie was very kind and welcoming in her service here and all the other staff with what we needed. The sunset burger is my favourite with a flavour I can enjoy 😊

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere

Always good food but some of the staff are a bit robotic. Visited tonight and a lot of dishes were not available. Missed off a side and got charged extra when it should have been included.

Disappointed. Dry chicken and flat coke. Did ask them to check the drinks machine as the drinks had no fizz, and staff said they would "replace the coke barrel" why lie like this? Nobody checked if food is OK.

Decent if you eat in. Don't bother with delivery. Tonight is the 3rd night I've ordered delivery and it hasn't turned up. Apparently delivered elsewhere, again. Props to whoever is regularly getting a surprise, free Nandos. Always unable to re-order on the same night. As much use as a chocolate tea pot.

It's just chicken, simple as that, but it's bloody good. Always enjoy it as a family and never disappoints. Even the corn on the cob is something a bit special

First time I've been to a Nandos. Good selection of food and drinks. Meal was good. I had the hottest wings they did but to me not very hot.

Always was fine. But last month we had not the most welcoming staff there. I hope the experience is better next time.

Three Sundays on the run we have visited this branch of Nando's to be told that the Chicken Liver have run out. Surely if they are running out on a regular basis they should order more in!! Makes sense to me....

I love my food and this was fantastic.

Went today and was served by Tommy who has just transferred from another restaurant. He couldn't have been more helpful. His customer service is second to none and definitely a credit to the Chesterfield store. Nothing was too much trouble, he dealt with all my awkwardness with the best attitude and had a lovely friendly nature.

Nice place, good busy atmosphere. Attentive service but on-line ordering is very clunky. We timed it right as there was a queue outside the door when we left

This is possibly one of the nicest Nandos I have been in, in terms of cleanliness and decor.

Staff were lovely when we walked in we were greeted and shown to some seats. We didn't have too long to wait for our food and it was hot. Will be returning x

Good- no table booked and little wait for a table. Poor- food took a while, Food was cold when served, and the garlic bread burnt. Toilets had no toilet roll. The vegetarian food tasted ok. The staff seemed stressed and unhappy. A lot of food left under the lamps waiting to be served.

Best Nando's we have had in a long time

The food was okay and that’s why I gave two stars. Not one server looked happy to be in their job, everyone else who waited 45 minutes for their meal got a free dessert but after 50 minutes of waiting nothing was given to us, we weren’t checked on either.

Great Nando’s visit! The Nando’s was fairly busy but the staff were happy to help and got us seated as fast as they could. The food was lovely and we will be visiting again I’m sure

Today, we were welcomed to Nandos By Tom (Elsey). He was magnificent throughout, nothing was too much for him. He entertained our children and made us more relaxed. Enjoyed the meal and dessert....ooh, yum, yum!!

Nice and good quality food, very friendly staff.

The soft drink pipes bring 3/4 of water and 1/4 the soft drink. Pure tap water that you can taste or smell tap. This is cheating of the highest order.
