Nando's in Dundee City

Had lunch with my wife on a week trip to Dundee.

If I want a meal that I know will be a little different, reasonably fast and super tasty (and spicy). This is where I like to go.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, prices are already at the upper end for the portion size. But the food was delicious. You just have to be careful with the sharpness. Scanning and ordering with the QR code is a bit tedious. But that's the great trend now. Well, whoever likes it

Shout out to Darren for brilliant service. Would recommend the Wing Roulette when going with friends

Me and my boyfriend were served by the most amazing staff member today (Thursday 29th,4pm) red top and glasses. He’s probably the best server I’ve met in any restaurant. Such a kind nature and really cared about our experience, I’ve not seen him here before he might be new but he should be rewarded for his outstanding service. (Sorry for not catching his name)

I eat here every week, not once have I received bad food or service at all. Staff are super friendly, food is really nice, reminds me of home (South Africa) will keep going weekly and enjoy Nando's Dundee by the Nethergate, art in the restaurant is beyond awesome, the layout is really something else. LOVE IT!

I do delivery for third party, 8 out of 10 times the food is waiting and they waste 10 minutes waiting for a staff to attend I wouldn't recommend ordering from here I've wasted 30 minutes today shambles service from the staff the foods getting cold good luck telling your customers

Staff are quite aware on people with food allergy... Price is just ok..

It's a Nandos. Same great food as you get at any of their establishments. Had the new chicken wrap which was delicious. Highly recommend a visit.

Honestly never thought I’d bother to review a chain restaurant as big as Nando’s but this one in particular last Sunday- they were just on it. Again I don’t expect to have a memorable or even noteworthy experience but the food was amazing, the staff were super friendly, helpful and attentive though the whole experience. I can’t wait to return to this Nando’s. Quite clearly good management at this branch

Honestly a nice nandos in the heart of centre. Staff lovely and on it with food that's the usual nandos flare. Although feel that nandos has gone up in price just a tad.

I like this one. Same taste as the one I had in Nottingham.

This is the best burger have tasted in Dundee. So yeah I liked it..:but the fries was so salty. And I honestly think it was expensive

Really good food even though I have a gluten allergy. I was served by Amy which gave me some of the best customer service I've ever received. Good also came quite fast. Overall an amazing experience

Jason our server was fantastic. Made great conversation when placing the order. Made sure to check on us throughout and took away plates another server had left with us when giving us our main. He was occupied with another customer at the time of giving us the main. Overall, great experience and lovely food. Passed on to another member of staff how fab he was but we left nandos with a great date there.

Myself and my partner came here for dinner whilst staying in Dundee. We were immediately greeted happily at the door and seated with a smile - the young gentleman who tended to us was a sweetheart! I LOVE how this Nandos looks - the décor is really interesting and gives plenty to look at. The lighting also feels just right. Our food was above the usual standard and arrived promptly, but obviously having been cooked and prepared with care. If you're in the area, I recommend eating here for the great service and the yummy Nando's scran.

Un buen sitio para comer "fast food" pero de calidad, la mayoría de platos tienen el pollo a la brasa como base, pero también hay comida vegana. Una buena variedad de productos y salsas, si no eres un amante del picante 🌶️ fíjate bien en lo que pides. La "pita" está muy buena, nit llena y con buen pollo a la brasa. Puedes hacer el pedido directamente a los camareros o por vía de su aplicación, allí mismo, con la que también puedes paragar y de esta manera se agiliza todo el proceso. Lo único es que el agua del dispensador no está tan buena como suele estar el agua del grifo en Escocia.

I'm not a Nando's person. But, the youngsters like it, so here we are. Overall, it was quite pretty good (on a quietish Saturday afternoon). Ordering on their app took twice as long as just letting someone know what they want (and we couldn't find mineral water, so we did without). There were lots of staff stood round doing not a lot, so should have just ditched the app. Food wise, the chicken was pretty good (I was surprised!) and arrived quickly. The chips could have been a bit warmer but the salad and garlic bread were good. This was my 3rd Nandos experience and absolutely the best so far. I'd grade it as "alright". If I didn't have youngsters to entertain, I wouldn't chose it, but if I did, I would. The building's quite industrial/trendy, which you'll either love or hate. And the symbols on the loo doors are a bit hard to decipher. C+ / B-

A step above fast good, but only just. Decent grub but expensive.

Very welcoming staff with attention to intolerances and allergies (specific menu with allergens). The dishes are freshly prepared and you can choose the degree of spiciness you want. A bit cold inside...but very nice atmosphere!

Everything is so prefect today when I visited at the 01/08/23, when I got in, I got a warm welcome by all of the staffs, the food is prefect, can’t stop loving the food here, I can feel like I want to come here every day, Thank you everyone who works at Nando’s In Dundee

Good food, the service was exemplary. As a wheelchair user it is always a bonus to find accessible restaurants, the staff were super helpful.

Great new menu, with a good gluten free choice

As per usual Nandos is a fantastic place to eat. The staff were great and super attentive while still giving you space to enjoy your meal. Special shout out to Kirsty (I think she was the floor manager) for assisting my partner with the Nandos app to get money off our meal by converting out chillies into points plus you get a blue light card discount here which is always a plus however i was asked to show my work ID with an image even though my blue light card shoukd have been more than enough so I'm not happy about that at all, i had both a digital and a physical blue light card and they still asked for a work ID with an image and wouldnt accept my BLC unless i gave my work ID. Couldn't recommend this place more, the food is top tier and well worth the cost, the portion sizes are great as well and if you like diving in to food then Nandos is where it is at !!!.

Can’t thank the staff at Nando’s Dundee city centre enough. Always incredibly hospitable and friendly. Special mention to Kirsty and Louise. They make every visit so personal and make my day every time. The food is always 10/10 as well.

Shamed to say this was our first ever visit to a nandos restaurant 🙈. Wow wow wow! . Staff were amazing and explained how everything would be done in regards to my dairy intolerance. New utensils and grill scraped down prior to my meal getting prepared. Down right gorgeous meal we both had for my hubs birthday. I downloaded the app and nandos card and the manager very kindly is adding our chillies to my account! We can't wait to come back. Thank you for a great first time experience. 👏👏

Great food, didnt have my cheesecake, but offered choclate cake instead. Service reaaly friendly and attentive. Music not my taste and would have preferred more relaxing tunes.

Came here for a meal after a long journey and we were greeted and well looked after by every member of staff from the moment we walked in. Food was absolutely fantastic, I had the boneless chicken thighs which were unreal! Both myself and my partner left with smiles on our faces, and being visitors to Dundee it would absolutely make us want to return. Awesome place. Great staff. Great food. Very little more you could ask for!

I love nandos in Dundee . The staff and the way the restaurant is made is very welcoming and is different in style as Aberdeen . Super good food for vegan and normal chicken lovers always to choose from 😋😋 my favourite restaurant in Dundee 🤗🤗

It's a bit frustrating that some Nando's allow you to book a table, Carlisle for example, but Dundee doesn't.

The food was pretty good compared to other Nandos. Service was quick and the atmosphere was good.

Good to eat there with friends. I enjoyed my meal there with my daughter and her boyfriend.

Food is good. Place is clean. Staff are nice. But it can be a wee but cold in the place but use some hot sauce and you'll soon be sweating.

We chose to have lunch here as they have good vegan options. The food was tasty and the service friendly and efficient. I had a rainbow salad bowl with grains and added the plant based chicken strips. Recommended if you have a mixed group of diners with different diet preferences as there is something for everyone.

Worst nandos I've had, undercooked chicken wings and overcooked chicken butterfly burger..

Nice food, bit could be done at home for much much cheaper not good value for money, app pictures are misleading, however the staff and food quality was good.

Literally never lets me down. Everything is tasty, and their napkins are ridiculously absorbent. I love Nando’s in all forms.

Nandos is what it is, good food and quick service though heavy handed with the Peri Peri salt. Definitely like ordering via the app.

Chicken butterfly is massively overpriced! Nandos should be ashamed of themselves £8.25 for a little piece of chicken! Manager refunded cost with no issues. I'm sure he has had many complaints already!

Menu was wrong. Didn't get as much chicken as we ordered. Complained to the staff who said there was nothing they could do. No discount or extra food. Appalling service.

We had to order and pay through an app which was confusing and time consuming. The place itself was dingy and not a nice atmosphere, we have been in lots of Nando’s but never one like this! Chicken was dry and took some eating. Rice, chips and coleslaw were lovely though.

Was happy with our food and the Covid responsible measures I experienced, when I collected the takeaway.

Great salad but a bit pricey for lunch. Only ordering via the app is a pain though.

I felt like going to a jail cantine as me being a convicted person. They ask for your private details before going in. You sit there and only order through the app. That would have been tolerable if it wasn't for some of the waiters literally staring at me or watching over the customers eating their food. I felt really uncomfortable. I loved this restaurant but I won't be back.

There are meatier sparrows than the half chicken I was served. It arrived within 5 mins of placing the order meaning it wasn't cooked fresh. It was very dry. The rainbow slaw was lifeless and bland and the piri chips over salted leaving a pile of "snuff" on the plate. Mean and disappointing fayre topped off by no gas in the soft drinks, coffee machine not working, not possible to swap for a bottle of beer so settled for a glass of tap water and a drink refund. Poor beyond acceptance. Server apologetic and embarrassed. If this is Nandos, sell your sauce in the shops but get out of food service, you just don't cut it.

Very organised with the new rules in place. You are greeted at the door, order on your phone and pay by card through the website. The staff were quite busy and you have to call over if you require drinks to be topped up or sauce etc but they were happy to help. Food was good and served quickly!

I have been to Nando’s in Dundee multiple times and it has been a great experience every single time. Everytime I go I change my order, however my favourite meal is 5 hot chicken wings with peri peri salted chips and spicy rice. The spicy rice is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. I will definitely be going back sometime. Another two pluses is that you get free refills and the music in the toilets is a different vibe.

Huge Nando’s fan, and have tried many up and down the uk. Staff pleasant but not overly communicative. Food came quickly. Chicken fell off the bone but despite that they managed to dry out a lot of the meat somehow. Quite generous with the sides. This one has a more industrialised decor and feel but still clean(ish) pleasant enough place. Overall efficient process, maybe lacking relaxation, enjoyment and feeling welcome rather than part of a customer conveyor belt for though food edible but maybe not quite as on point as it should be. Recommend Nando’s all day long, just not this one!!

its ok if you want to wait 45mins to an hour for a chicken covered with spicy sauce, staff terrible, rude, seem to be more interested in their phones or each other, def not interested in the customers, everything seems to be a problem, I can see why teenagers go, as they fit in with the cant be bothered attitude

Myself and my wife decided to eventually give Nandos a bash. The food was ok but not as I had been told. I had heard it was amazing but well just ok. Good was hot, service was ok, place was clean. Nothing more to say really.

Asked for half chicken. No Chicken on bone available because they weren't busy enough. That's a first!
