Nando's in Camden

My last Nando’s was ages ago, and it suited for a quick/cheap lunch while in London. I got The Great Imitator Wrap in PERi-Tamer along with Macho Peas and Spiced Grains & Butternut Squash. The wrap’s chilli jam was to my taste- sweet over spice for me! The soft drink options were plentiful: I got a peach iced tea.

THE FOOD HERE IS HALAL NOW!! This is a recent thing and you can see this is indeed the case since the demand was there for it

Had a takeaway. I ordered a half chicken and 2 sides meal. Female cashier was rude. Creamy mash was cold at the top and very cold at the bottom. The staff let me wait for a long time even though my order was finished and put aside. Asked for a set of cutlery but received 1 spoon and no fork, and 5 knifes, even though it was a one-person meal ?

Big thank you to Frankie! Came for a takeaway. Got great friendly engagement and quick order! I left very happy.

Food was left waiting for 20+ mins. Servers running around doing absolutely nothing but chatting amongst each other. The chicken was burnt, they forgot most of the things we ordered. Obviously, no rudeness was shown and vice versa, however I feel like more training and vigorous management is needed here.

I have been dine in there for 4 years. The staff there is really nice, and chicken is nice too.

Don’t be fooled by the obvious fake/friend review stuffing happening for this location. The food is decent but nothing wow-worthy, and service is almost non-existent. You apparently order via QR however we weren’t told this when we mentioned it was our first time here. We waited nearly 10 minutes before going up and asking what was going on as all the staff just stood around chatting. My friend’s fries arrived cold and his chicken breast looked extremely dry. My thighs (which are impossible to screw up) were good but nothing I couldn’t have whipped up easily at home.

Second visit to this establishment start off with the pros. The food has been amazing on my two Visits. I don’t know what it is about this Nando, or how they cook the food but is a 10 out of 10 cooked By a black lady with glasses, the first time. The second visit on 7/3/24 the food was prepared by a young black lady wearing a grey Hairstyle. The negative Is that this is a quite busy restaurant and on my second visit just like my first I witnessed management not really helping to tidy at a very busy time. Which I really don’t understand because from what I know Nando’s is supposed to be a team effort and regardless of title, this is one food store, that all hands should be on deck. Witness a young female manager of European decent walk past a table that needed to be cleaned more than two times. I also witnessed another gentleman middle age take the sauce off the table however, not clear the table from the last customers that used the table. considering at this point the restaurant was full to capacity it would’ve been nice to see management being more hands-on and being team players.

Always such great service, fresh well cooked yummy food and great ambience! The front of house and serving staff especially are awesome almost all the time and if not they’re at least happy and friendly 😊 love it here 🙏 🐓

I was at table 3 which includes amazing view of outside and the service of ms hitaxi is excellent

Waiter with man-bun was extremely rude, accused me of lying, throws the plate of food on the table, a lot of attitude. Food was okay, but not coming back there again.

The service attitude is very good and the food tastes good. There are many flavors of sauce to choose from. If you choose drinks, you can drink all you can. £14.2 (+2sides) Chicken butterfly is delicious but not bad Chips middle to upper Corn on the cob 👍

Had a good experience at this Nando's. Well organised. There was a good table available on Friday night.

Delicious chicken wings. Had the 10 chicken wings option with Lemon & Herbs and they were very tasty. Been there two times in a row. Will try other things from their menu which seemed very good too. Recommended in the area.

Nando's, it was pretty busy as the students from the university tend to visit. It was quite noisy. We were given a table quite quickly. The food was OK. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was clean 👌🏾.

In general the food was good but the waiters come to clean up the table twice even though I told them that we haven’t finished our meals.

Lekker een kipmaaltijd gegeten. Met chips en refill cola. Cola smaakt een beetje naar chloor omdat het met kraanwater wordt aangemaakt maar niet storend. Alles is gebaseerd op Peri-Peri. Een soort chili based saus waar de kip 24 uur in is gemarineerd. Smaakte goed. Ontzettend leuk en behulpzaam personeel.

Delicious chicken meat, nice sides and sauces, good service and unlimited soft drinks. We were able to take the time, the meal is not timed.

Always a good time at Nandos and this one is no exception. Friendly and attentive service. Clean environment. Good chicken. Enjoyed my corn on the cob. The macho peas were a bit dry for me, but my friend loved it, so it must be just personal preference. Lots of sauces to use so you can drench your chicken in it if you want to.

Nando’s never disappoints! It’s such an excellent choice for fresh and healthy options. The chicken is grilled to perfection with your choice of sauce. The service at this location was superb. Very courteous and attentive staff that cleared off tables very quickly, with dishes stacked a mile high! The food, service, and atmosphere was fantastic.

Simply, Nandos, the best chicken you will ever taste , great service and consistency, If you are a Muslim, just confirm with the team if they have Halal chickens, as some branches may only serve normal chickens.

The food you can like it or not as in every Nando's but unfortunately the wait is too long for what it is. I will unlikely pick it again as a quick option for lunch when I'm at work.

Unbelievably rude. We just came, the waitress said to order through the app. The app didn't work, so I called her. She saw me twice and ignored me. I don't know about the food but the service is terrible.

Sunrise Burger was awesome. Love the sauce bar! All food was fresh and well-prepared...staff was courteous and helpful and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

Good place and great service with very helpful staff

Went there today for lunch. We chose the 10 chicken wings menu & burger menu. And unfortunately I was quite disappointed as the size of the chicken wings were the smallest I had ever seen, no joke. Also the rice portion was really small. This menu should normally serve 2-3 people, but realistically I would say 1,5. So we paid 37 pounds and left still feeling hungry. Personally, I would not recommend Nando's.

Went for lunch with a friend. Staff were nice and polite and the food was usual Nandos fair. Nothing special.

Went since it's such a staple. Honestly even a mild was too spicy for me, but I'm so week when it comes to spicy food. The meat was well cooked though and very tender. I had a side of spicy rice, which besides being spicy was very bland.

Dette er en travel takeaway Nandos, det gjorde at vi måtte vente over 30 min på maten vår. Meget hyggelig servitør som tok i mot oss i døra, men det hjelper ikke så mye når vi må vente over 20 min på glass ( hentet selv til slutt).

Although the chicken is very small for the price , the food was delicious. The staff were exceptional, especially the older blonde lady. Give her a raise! The only reason it’s not a 5 star review is due to the chicken size. Other than that, perfect!

I ordered a chicken butterfly… never do the same mistake I did. Smallest piece of chicken for that price. Seriously? I felt defrauded.

It was the first time I'd been to Nandos, and the food wasn't good. On this occasion, I had some chicken wings, and omg, they were so salty. It was like they were corned. But conversely, the chips were great!

Just been for lunch. Food came out really quick same as drinks. Our server Michelle was fantastic checking in on us. Super friendly and could see she was being fantastic to other guests as well. We were sat outside and she still managed to pay attention to us in a busy restaurant. Would definitely come again!

Nando’s used to be decent in the past, but the food now is not very fresh and the service was bad (waited 50 mins for food to arrive). There are far better options out there if you want a bit of spicy chicken and chips, i.e. Slim Chickens next door. You won't be overcharged for food that, at best, is sub-standard.

Great atmosphere and a brilliant team.

Very tasty, as you'd expect from a good Nandos. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately we were in a rush so didn't spend long enough to really enjoy it but the fact you pay up front made it easier to eat and go.

Team dinner after a busy day. They always have tables and are super quick to help and serve. Food is always good and you know what to expect. Usually no cutlery so this is a minus 1 star.

Always seem to sit u practically on top of other diners when plenty of other spaces around. Tables r close together so feels like they may aswell be part of your conversation!

Peri-peri chicken thighs were very good. My wife enjoyed the spiced chickpea burger. Excellent customer service.

Waited about 70 minutes for food, didn't inform us of the problem until we asked. Manager wad happy to give a partial refund but the service needs a serious rejig!

The staff are not very organised, they take to long to make delivery!!

I had the chicken thigh sandwich. The sauce was good, but the chicken had no seasoning, which took away from what could have Ben a masterful taste collaboration. Definitely plan on going back because I have heard so many great things. The service was outstanding, and the guy who helped me was very inviting and friendly.

Not new to Nandos, however this was my first visit at the Brunswick branch. I felt inclined to leave a review because the service I received from one staff member in particular was outstanding. Michelle you are a gem. From the moment my daughter and I walked through the door Michelle was very welcoming, warm, attentive, and later resolved a minor issue with toilet paper holder so willingly. Thanks again Michelle x

Ordering and paying on Android was a little fidgety but worked at the end. Food is excellent Nando's 😋

The whole place looked seriously understaffed, there were only three staff serving food and the food was putting in the kitchen for ages without being served. We two people ordered at 7:59pm, and we didn’t get our food until 8:39pm! 40 minutes is a ridiculous waiting time for any restaurants! We could have finished eating and gone back home, instead of sitting here doing nothing but waiting!

Took the medium butterfly chicken with spicy rice and mash potatoes. Even though the chicken was medoum it was a bit spicy and also the rice which i really loved. Will surely visit again soon.

Took my society there last night. Michelle was our server, she was so friendly and attentive. The first time I've been so impressed with service living in London.

Update Better! Michelle who has been in the front door the last few times has been lovely. She seems genuinely interested in wether or not you are having a nice meal. Hopeless. Three tuesdays in a row they have not had enough staff to seat customers. I mean nandos is nandos and I like the food but to be turned away three times in a row smacks of hopeless managment.

Every time I try this place they appear to be overwhelmed, no staff, endless queues.

Rude waitress staff, came to the restaurant,she grabbed my menu and didnt let me order food.

Went on my lunch today for the time it says this branch opens on Google: 1130. Was told fairly abruptly that they weren't opening yet and we would have to wait 15 minutes. Why didn't you open on time or start prepping earlier? This isn't my issue. Went to Slim Chickens instead and shall do next time.

Waited 25 minutes for my burger during lunchtime on a Thursday. Got seated near the entrance where I had to wear my coat it was so cold. There are no knives, only forks. Then received this mini burger….Unforgettable experience, thank you Nando’s.

Poor service, no friendly atmosphere. They didn't have the burger we wanted (not the 1st time). When food arrived the frozen burger was bearly cooked and cold..the burger bread was soo hard not even the birds would eat it. Knifes and forks are always dirty with food still stuck on them - need to invest in a better dishwasher. And when you do eventually find a clean knife it's not even Sharpe enough to cut through the bread. Price of burgers has increased but the size of the burgers have reduced..I don't understand the logic Looks like place is short staffed.

Problem with the location or perhaps it was my own singular experience but the people going there are weird. The staff there is great. Very friendly.

The haulomi and mushroom burger was soggy and very thin, almost no cheese in it at all!

The chicken was great, the food was tasty and it came quite fast. But it wasn’t worth the price. You can get better chicken and meat in other places for the same price. So while the place is definitely worthwhile, it’s not the best option for lunch or dinner. They would get 5 stars if the prices were ¼ lower. The one problem that exists is minimal waiter interaction. You order food at the till, and it’s pretty loud there and communication isn’t the best. Then it’s just someone delivering food to your table without speaking. At such price premium service could be better, and better organised. You also have to go by yourself to get cutlery, waiters wouldn’t bring them to you if asked. For a first time experience, it definitely could be better, but it’s not the worst. I wouldn’t organise a meeting here, as it’s a bit too loud and probably we would overpay. For chicken itself it’s the best place in the Brunswick centre, so if you want a good chicken and don’t mind the price - I would recommend.

The kids chicken breast meal wasn’t even a chicken breast. Mains come out before starters, ordered 6 drinks and got 4, pita bread was stale. Staff was like the walking dead. Waste of £70

The staff here are great as this is a busy location. Some customers here are just pathetic entitled hags.

Janos at nandos Brunswick center is amazing. Id go to here again just for him, food is great too!
