Absolutely terrible. Meals came out in less than 10 minutes,proving to me it's definitely not fresh food. Chicken was bone dry,couldn't eat it. Chips.....well you shouldn't be able to go wrong with those but even they were dry. First and last time. Cheap & nasty!

The halloumi burgers are amazing, I don't eat chicken but I'll be back for sure. The bottomless ice cream (only vanilla) and bottomless soft drinks were good value as well.

The food was nice and everything was perfect until we got home then realised 2/5 people from the family had food poisoning! They both had the new “fully loaded wrap” which obviously was undercooked and had them being sick for days.

A regular diner at Nandos meridian, always nice food and nice pleasant staff. I'd like to especially mention Leah who is absolutely amazing, an infectious welcoming smile, takes the time to talk with you and enhances your dining experience. A very nice lady and certainly an asset to the company ... look after her Nandos!

Pretty awful food. Have eaten many times and it's pot luck. Pick up order. My chicken took a battering! See photo, that's how it arrived. Looked like it's half eaten. Nandos twitter don't allow you to complain or anywhere else. Wonder why?! The broccoli was older than me, extremely hard and fibrous. The chips arrived yet again with no Nando salt nor did we get packets of salt. Expensive too. Other times they have left out a side or gave us wrong ones. There are better places. Added after Nando's response: I did not mention anything about speed. Lol. I said the quality of your food is awful. Take a look of the photo, the chicken looked like it was half eaten before you gave it to me!

Went in and ordered food for takeaway. Sat waiting for 40 mins before the slowest servers I've ever seen finally realised that my food had been ready, sitting on a tray for about 20 mins. No apology. The girls working on Monday night need a rocket to get them to move a bit faster. I wasn't the only one to complain.

Worst Nandos in Leicester. Waited 45 minutes for a table and then 45 minutes for food. There were no knives. When they finally brought the knives out they had dried on food on them. Told the waiter he did nothing. Went back up to get a knife nothing had changed so asked for a clean knife. Again nothing happened. As the waitress passed the table we asked for knives again she said that "some" of them were clean. I said give us one then. Never got a knife the whole meal. £75 meal on father's day and ruined by immature clearly underpaid staff. Food also substandard to the 2 Nandos in town. Chips and chicken pale and underdone. The just eat delivery driver was waiting outside the door for 20 minutes staring at us while we ate which was off putting. No one came and served him despite him staring. The staff have no people skills. The background music is annoying.

Amazing film followed by amazing chicken! What more could you want? Tanatswa and Tanaka went over and above to help with ordering and service. Thank you! 😊 Restaurant was really busy at 10pm on a Saturday night after the film finished at Vue, and after such a fun night, it would have been rude not to have popped in for chicken at Nando's! The atmosphere was vibrant too. Even bought the last Pastel de Nata for Father's Day gift! Lol See you again soon!

You can go wrong with a Nando’s.

Portion size was the smallest of all the Nando’s I’ve ever been to. Service was so poor they failed to deliver my cups until being asked despite using the table service. 1/10 would not recommend

First time visiting a Nando's. Friday night so was busy but service was quick and efficient. Seated right away so no hanging around and waiting. Waiting staff were also friendly and on it, checking in on us and making sure everything was OK. Food also came out in a reasonable time considering how busy they were and was of great quality. Found price point was decent too so would definitely go again. Thank you!

Waited 45 minutes for food for the manager to accuse me of not ordering only to find my order on their system under - served Have raw chips and cold chicken as I’d watched it sit there for 30 minutes!!! Manager did not come over to apologise and the TWO working waitresses did nothing but give me table filthy looks, point and laugh. Disgusting service, this is shocking!!! There were 8 tables sat so it was NOT busy and those sat 20 minutes after us received food BEFORE us !

Waiting times usually ok and great atmosphere

Food was good but they are so stingy with the chips, my partner ordered 1 side of chips and I got 2, we got the exact same portion 😞

The quality has definitely improved, came on bank holiday. Don't know if the chef has changed, but the quality has drastically improved since the last few visits. The best imitator wrap so far. Keep it up!

We visit this restaurant quite often, service and food is usually good but today I've noticed that the staff was not friendly at all.itWas not usual nando's. Mens Restroom was very dirty, really bad smell and the sink was like not been cleaned for a long time. Will have to rethink if I'm going to visit again.

Customer Service was amazing. Staff informed us that due to Nandos being busy that day the wait for butterfly chicken was longer than expected. They offered to give us alternative meals instead of the wait but we didn’t mind waiting for our chosen meals. During this time we received 3 free starters and an apology for the delay. Beyond what we expected as we didn’t mind waiting but we really appreciated the service. Food came out fresh and hot, very tasty. Good portion sizes. All staff were polite and our table was clean on arrival. Very lovely experience. Thank you for your brilliant hospitality.

Produce great food here in comparison to other outlets within their local outlets based on my experience, customers service here is exceptional based especially on my recent interaction with WILL @ your Meridian branch - a true ambassador to your organisation. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service is utter rubbish! We have been waiting for about half an hour only to be told the grill was shut and offered a refund. While trying to get a refund at the till, we were told that our order was actually ready and offered to go back to our table, which we did. Then 10 minutes later, still no food, we noticed people who came in after us got their order ahead of us. As we were in a rush we had just leave, no food, no refund. The place is run by imbeciles, avoid.

Food is always piping hot and delicious. The service was good. We will be back again soon for sure. I wish we could book in advance though as we had to wait a while for a table.

Asked for one of the “comfy” tables, as a lot of them were free to which we were told that these are not for 2 guests. 1 minute later a pair of people came and she gave the table we wanted to them, when i went back to her to ask her why she refused us a table, she couldnt give me answer. Joke of a place

Haven't been here for ages! Today didn't disappont as the food was lovely and service quick and friendly. My only complaint would be the state of the toilets! Seats need repairing and they weren't particularly clean either today.

I really like Nando’s, I’ve been dozens of times all over the country, every time I come to this one there is a issue, never had any issues anywhere else. When I ask to speak to the manager, the server called Dad !!!!

Had a delicious lunch here today. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff (we were served by a lovely gentleman named Will). Food was great as always and the whole restaurant is wheelchair accessible. A regular stop for our Nando’s fix!

Overall recommend. Nice food as per the menu. Only issue was we had ordered a lot of food for a big group, food took a while to be brought to Ur table and the plates were last to follow allowing food to get colder. Maybe deliver plates first and food after. Again overall very positive.

Came here tonight with my partner for a date as we both love Nando’s we’ve not had problems before so idk what’s happened, our starters got dropped on the table by a male waiter and then we waited 45 minutes for our main but had to ask a waitress where it was as people that came in 30 minutes after us got their food first? And when we finished our starter usually they clear the table but left them there till the very end.

Whoever does the rota the this restaurant needs a kick up the backside 90% if the problems stem from them being massively understaffed I understand you maybe short staff due to things out of your control illness etc but even taking that maybe a couple didn’t turn up last minute they were massive understaffed for a Saturday I’ve never worked in a restaurant but it doesn’t take Gordon Ramsey to know Saturday night is going to your busiest time had tj wait 35 mins to get a table which I understand with it being Saturday but this problem could have been solved if people were ALLOWED TO BOOK A TABLE something I’ve never understood about the place wasn’t even out to wait in the seating area for our table to that meant 45 minutes outside in the freezing cold so we get a table get to the till nobody ti take orders nobody yo bring the food to the table we could see the plates pilling up ready go out but nobody to take them which is frustrating when you can see waiters and waitresses Just walking by in the end I volunteer to just grab our own plates so that the food would be completely cold by the time they got to us they member of staff didn’t seem happy with this so finally get the food cold and horrible I never particularly rated Nando’s food mainly go because my brother loves and even he said it wasn’t great which is saying something for him they also got his order wrong but by this point we had just given up and accepted that the wrong order of some barley warm not very nice for for £ 50 was the best we were going to get it’s just a shame as I feel most of the problems could have been solved if there were only a few more staff on I appreciate when your light on staff it can be tough being pulled all directions I’ve been In that situation but when that happens you nee lf everybody you’ve got to roll there sleeves up and make up for the short staff and while some where others thought it was a Sunday stroll in the park not a rush in them wishing they could be literally anywhere else won’t be going back to this one again hopfully it’s just a isolated problem at this restaurant rather than Nando’s as a whole

Earthworms are better organised than the staff at this Nando’s!.. every single time I’ve ordered through Deliveroo they seem to miss at least one item. Perhaps bagging food and cross checking against a receipt requires a PHD?! Avoid ordering from here at all costs - you’ll get a half arsed apology from the manager who will tell you that they’ll speak to their team, but you would have more chance of winning the Euro Millions then getting an order delivered without something missing :-(

Visiting restaurants like this Nando's, where the server does not take your order and you are forced to scan a QR code to order via a website, really does detract from the dining experience. The restaurant was clean and tidy. The service was efficient, everyone was polite and the food was pleasant.

I love the food there it was an amazing experience and i would love to go again. The service was really great as they served me within 2 minutes and they were really great, i really loved the wrap as it was really juicy and full of flavour.

Nandos Meridian were amazing when I visited last Saturday. A group of 11 of us decided to pop in after a game of bowling, no reservation, however the team did their best to fit us in. The food was delicious, service was good and the restaurant was clean with good ambiance. I will definitely return to this branch and highly recommend trying them.

Don’t EVER order take away from this Nando’s. Chicken is suppose have medium sauce, this doesn’t look like Peri chips and the sides.. really?? Not bothered to make the food properly? Then just close down. Asked for a refund and you blame Deliveroo. They didn’t make this bland chicken, forget to put spice on the chips, or throw lumpy rice in a box. Worst Nando’s experience ever. And don’t reply saying contact us to remedy this.. we’ve been trying and you won’t and neither will Deliveroo! For the price you charge for this food it should never arrive like this! Terrible customer support and food. Will advise everyone against ordering or going here and show them these images.

Always very clean and good vegan options, the staff are friendly :) and hummus and pitta is my favourite!

Nando's is always excellent, their food is always top quality! The Meridian Nando's in particular doesn't have long waits and the food arrives relatively quickly without losing any quality!

I have been to this location twice and I had a problem with their devices both times

Waited for a table for 15 mins told by waitress Abi to move outside to wait as we were blocking door. I’ve eaten at this restaurant many times and not had a problem. This jobsworth thought is was a good idea to move us for no reason as in winter months the whole doorway is blocked with waiting diners. I took my kids home without dinner and annoyed that empty tables couldn’t be wiped clean in the few minutes it would take to seat waiting patrons. Either Nando’s don’t want family clientele or they are making too much money with all their branches to worry about customer service issues

I attended earlier with my children and the lady at the door greeting was lovely She asked for allergies and took us to our table She told her manager (Matt) about the allergy for my boy (dairy and tomatoes) I went up to order and Matt took the order He hadn't read the order back but didn't think much of it When the food came out my lads burger had ketchup in I told Matt that the burger has ketchup in and sent it back The other burger that came out had tomato and a yoghurt type sauce in At this point my son had nearly finished eating and wasn't that bothered about eating the chicken fillet due to the contamination I had also asked for peri tamer sauce which wasn't given and I asked for a butterfly chicken which came in a burger I told Matt about this and he didn't seem too interested Nor did he see if that was an error on his part and if there was a difference in pricing The other staff were absolutely lovely yet I would expect a manager to know his role if he is leading a team- he clearly doesn't have any concept of allergies so I won't be returning with anyone who has allergies and won't be recommending those with allergies to come to the meridean nandos

The only reason I am writing this review is because of Nat:-}.I obviously love Nando's (who doesn't) but what makes the Nando's in Meridian Park pretty special is the service we always receive from Nat when we visit. She is always smiling, very chatty and always so helpful with a smile on her face. Keep up the good work and I hope the management recognise how lucky they are to have you.

Tasty foods with good price , friendly staff

I ordered a full platter for delivery today but unfortunately I was disappointed. I could smell the chicken was burnt before I even open it. As usual, every time I order for delivery the chicken is always burnt. I don’t know if they do it on purpose because they don’t care. It’s so disappointing to spend almost £40 and you get burnt food especially in this time of hardship. Honestly the only positive is the delivery time. I don’t know who authorise staff to deliver burnt chicken.

Not as good as others problem with changing my sauce from onion to chilli jam in my pitta, when received hardly any sauce in it and was dry. Was not presented well, everything was falling out and my chips came without peri peri even though ordered that way. Last time ordered my coleslaw and they forgot it and then it came out contaminated with something on top. Could do better for certain.

Ridiculous manager didn’t have a clue why my Deliveroo order was, why it had taken over an hour, couldn’t even locate it. The original staff member said it had left 20 mins ago, then said she couldn’t find it, then put me on to a manager who couldn’t even find the order, and then said it had left 20 mins ago… it hadn’t When driver arrived he had been left standing there for 45 mins waiting staff said it was busy driver said they lost my order Being lied too is simply the most annoying thing

I came to this restaurant after I was notified that there was a 45 minute wait at the Highcross restaurant. I was welcomed and greeted by a lovely lady named Patricia she was attentive and very polite. I was with a small group of people and she remembered all of our orders without having to look at the screen and recommended some other food choices that we also bought. Whilst at the table we were attended to by Luke, and he was good. Would definitely recommend going to this restaurant.

First time at this Nandos. It has a great ambience, the meals we ordered were tasty with friendly staff to top it up! Definitely a great night out with the family.

Great place. First time here. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table but well worth it. Food was delicious. Amazing cheesecake and brownies. Ordered the chicken boneless platter and was good, tight for 2 people I would say. The 3 starters were amazing and good size. Recommended and will return again!

Customer service is very poor and staff do not have Customer communication skills. Till staff not paying attention to my order and very unwelcoming.

Had an issue with the kids burger. Having sauce in when we asked for plain. No problem the waiter said and immediately went to get a fresh order. Great nandos branch. Have to be quick to get your sauces thought because some idiots like 3 of the same sauce on their table.... you know who you are !!! But yes great visit and affordable.

Called quickly fir a table when it was busy. Out of my choice of chicken which delayed us but they were perfectly pleasant about replacing it with another choice. Overall a nice place to get a quick bite.

My favourite Nandos in Leicester. Because it is a little out the way compared to others it doesn’t get as busy as the other restaurants. But that does not mean I am saying it doesn’t get busy, so be prepared to wait a little. The staff members were quite polite and had told us due to the wait they can take down our phone number and give us a text, which was pretty good.

This place is a joke they give random wait times to people and shorter times to people who come in after you. The girl at the door had a stinking attitude and the manager of the store worse. All we asked for was a different table as we didn’t want to be seated so close to people and they had plenty of tables available but her attitude was to be extremely difficult. When the manager came over he didn’t even want to listen to his customers and took her side. Left two very hungry Childrens and asked us to leave with no fault of ours. Disgusting customer service and we sure won’t be returning here again. A total joke since covid customer service seems to have gone out of the window and it’s not so enjoyable to eat out anymore.

Lovely meal before going cinema.

This must have been one of the worst meal experiences we have had. The gentleman that took us to our table was rude and was holding his private parts when talking to us. The lady that brought our starter not even a good afternoon she said, and got really surprised when we thanked her. I had a hair in my plate 😱🤮🤢🤢.

I wanted to take the wife out on a last minute dinner surprise while we were away for a few days, and we tried at the place next door tour hotel first but got treated terribly before we could even get in so we popped over to Nando’s to try here, and as we got in the front door we were greeted by a happy young man who told us although it was really busy at the moment he would take our phone number on his iPad and text us as soon as he had a table for us and he sat us down in the warm for about 5 minutes then he came back to us and told us he’d got us a table and led the way , he was very good with his customer service, and we sat down and a lovely lady came over to us with menu’s for us then left us for time to chose what we wanted and came back to us and took our order and a little while after came over with our food great customer service all round and nothing seemed to much so I’d recommento all

This place has really good food, if you don't want to cook or anything, I would recommend this place to eat.They are open again inside with barriers between the sides of tables.

Great variety of food for all tastes. Sunset burger was very tasty with the sides. My son ordered one side dish incorrectly but the manager and his colleague were very accommodating and this was swapped for the correct one. Great service as usual and shall return for more tasty treats. Thanks
