Nando's in Gloucester

Very good service. Not sure of this name but someone who seemed to be the team leader/ manager gave great service. He checked in on us & got me a bag and some sauce to take the remainder of my food I didn’t eat home. Definitely made me feel like I’d like to go again.

Selected a random place. Food was decent but nothing special. They served us quickly, but portions were smaller than expected.

What an amazing experience from start to finish at Gloucester Nandos! I visited with my family and upon our arrival we were greeted like old friends and taken to our table. Service and food were amazing- great atmosphere and I would throughly recommend a visit. I had a Fino pita and it was well prepared - tasty and well presented. Without doubt the best place to eat when at Gloucester Quays - please give it a go!

Absolutely perfect. Food was hot and tasty, restaurant was clean and service was brilliant. I didnt catch the waiters name, a young lad with brown wavy hair - he was exceptional.

First visit to Nando’s and were treated really well with the menu fully explained. Food was of a high standard and came exactly as ordered. Decent size portions, good atmosphere in a clean restaurant. Worth a visit.

First ever time dining at Nando’s and I was really really impressed. Staff were lovely and friendly, the restaurant has a great vibe. Since it was my first time the manager JJ explained all about the different sauces which was really good especially as it was really busy. Food was delicious and fresh so what a great place to go. Waited outside for 20minutes which was not ideal, but bearable. After ordering our food, it took 35/40minutes and my rice was freezing cold and the chicken thighs were burnt but cold?! The only good part of the meal was the coleslaw which I’m fairly certain just comes out of a tub…honestly the most awful and disappointing Nando’s I have ever had. Definitely has gone down hill.

Visited the Gloucester Quays Nandos. 2 Adults 2 Children at early lunch time. Table was not cleaned so asked for it to be cleaned and properly cleared. One person seating customers and numerous others chatting at the till. Eaten at Nandos around the country with our children as one has an allergy so always a safe bet. Children prefer a wrap rather than a burger bun so asked to swap the bun for a wrap, a request which has been accepted over 50 times in multiple restaurants including this one twice before. Was informed that the kitchen could not process that request. Asked why not and it was told that they just couldn't do it. No other explanation, I pushed back on that and asked what the difference was. The server after chatting to someone on the grill said that they could give us a wrap but we'd have to make it ourselves. I pointed out that this process is just wasting food. There was no other option. Ordered the other meals and waited for the usual amount of time at Nandos, approx 15 minutes as it was fairly quiet. When the food arrived we proceeded to take apart the burger and transplant it into the wrap. It was only after I got home and checked the receipt i'd stuffed in my pocket I noticed that the server had slyly slipped an extra charge into the order for the wraps. The point wasn't about the money, its the food waste and the deceitfulness of the server saying it was free and it was just because the kitchen was refusing to do it then whacking on a charge. Dropped my feedback on the Nandos form and get a response within a few days from Emilio, a customer services agent. I would find it easier and quicker to relay my thoughts and have an actual conversation with Emilio. Emilio simply passed my details to the restaurant then sent me a couple of emails later on saying he had tried to call me. He hadn't at any stage. The mobile I use is on at all times. JJ from the Gloucester site called, was argumentative and clearly didn't understand why I was disappointed with the extra charges being sneaked in and the hypocrisy of wasting the food when they claim to be reducing their food waste. Other notable points were sticky and unclean tables, chewing gum stuck on the bench seat that I sat on and any time we have eaten in this specific location we've never had a table which didn't wobble. On this occasion resulting in a spilt drink. Overall good food but petty attitude, a couple of pence for a wrap but they could haver the bun back, JJ's excuse for this was the stock wouldn't balance, then admitting they throw buns and wraps away regularly! Nice one JJ :)

Couldn’t get a table at first even though a lot of tables were empty but just not cleared and staff were stood around talking. Decided to order takeaway to take it home, ordered it for 8:20pm. It wasn’t ready for collection until 9pm!! Everything in the order was fine, temperature was fine u til I got to my Sunset Burger. It was quite messy like burgers usually are so I put it on a plate to eat, took the burger apart to put it together neater and found a LONG DARK HAIR. It was wrapped around the chicken, in between the skin and the meat, the cheese was melted into it. Absolutely DISGUSTING. Found another hair under the lettuce of the burger, another dark one. I didn’t see a single person wearing a hair net when collecting my food!!!

Great night at Nando’s for a member of staff leaving do that I work with didn’t expect them to come to the table and take our order And give you separate receipt our waitress chellis and they were specially kind to me when I should’ve had a green reward on my Nando’s card which meant I get a free starter didn’t come off so they gave it to me on them

Fantastic evening at Nando’s for a leaving do. Food was delicious and despite us being a big group arrived quickly. At the end we were each brought individual receipts and nothing was too much trouble. Our server Chellis made the evening especially wonderful and was so friendly, patient and inclusive of our team with autism and learning disabilities. Highly recommend

If you like to be ignored that’s the perfect place for you, stuff don’t really care about costumer experience

hadn't been for a while due to lock downs and work etc. fancied a meal out, had platter. two halfs of chicken with 4 sides. chcken was tasty although a little dry. I do feel the restaurant needs an update, paint & decor. staff were friendly

Unbelievably arrived at 7:50pm, after a cinema visit, to a 75% full restaurant to be told they were closed. When questioned was spoken to in a very abrupt manner and told because they had no staff - only the 7 or 8 I could see! When I commented that it has become a common occurrence to not be able to get any food here, it’s happened a few times now, the guy was even more rude, the pervading attitude seemed to be the new normal one of - how dare you be upset at this poor customer service!!! Left wondering how this establishment stays in business if I’m honest, ever visit ends in disappointment in some way or another!

Nando's - really? Well, yes, to my surprise, I had a very good meal there.

We recently dropped-in at Nandos in Gloucester Quays for a bite to eat on our way home. Arriving without a booking the staff quickly seated us and managed to accommodate our request for a table outside despite being very busy. The table (which had just been vacated) was quickly cleared for our use.

Upon arriving my family and I were greeted by a friendly waitress and seated very promptly. The staff were helpful and well mannered, the atmosphere was relaxed and the food was so good we could have eaten it again straight after! We will definitely be visiting again.

I go out to lots of places around the country all of the time, and on a day out in beautiful Gloucester, we chose Nando’s as the one in Worcester is exceptional with the friendly, smiley staff. We were greeted by a handsome boy who was extremely polite, and soon after went to order our food. The new butterfly burger with double breast was amazing, however the young girl that brought it was full of attitude, and asked us whether we wanted anything else. I asked for a pot of mayo, which she brought down within a minute but dropped it next to the table onto the floor and just walked away without turning round to check or anything. I found that extremely rude and just had to let you know! A young (perfect eyebrows) British girl, shame her personality was not as spot on as the eyebrows!

A good example of Nandos offering. We eat here regularly, usually before visiting the cinema, and have always found the service to be excellent and quick. The food is well presented and cooked, and is always clean and welcoming.

This was our first nandos experience and it's one we won't be repeating. This is mainly due to their menu informing us that its chicken could be from Halal chicken!!!! This is inexcusable and totally barbaric. I'll never step foot in one again.

So I have been to this Nando's a couple of times when I'm been on a business trip and today was by far the best experience I have ever had in a Nando's restaurant!! As it's my last day in Gloucester I decided I'd go to Nando's I mean come on everyone loves it! I came on my lunch so it was a little bit busy but a young waitress decided to jump on and help her teammate which was great I was told there would be a 15 minute wait but was done in 10, even better, after getting my food from a lad called Will, he was superb he told me I'd gone with a great choice which I've never been told that before so was made up with that! He'd even given me a jar of sauce so I will definitely be using this all the time!! As I went to leave, Will was in front of me I just thought he went off to serve other people but no he did not, he went and held the door for me because my hands were full!! So if your ever in Gloucester pop into Nando's for a fantastic all round customer service, I will defiantly be coming here again because of the customer service and thank you Will for going that extra mile!! the menu doesn't have a suitable non spicy alternative, everything is piri piri and deeply spiced, my husband likes spicy food and our young son doesn't mind a bit, but Im not keen at all, means I have to have a bottle of water as I cant eat any of the food, we don't go very often because of this. Ide like to suggest that they put some plain chicken and chips on the menu, I am sure they would increase their customer base as not everyone wants or likes strong spicy food. apart from strong spicy menu the restaurant premises are clean and the staff hard working.

The is the first time that we have been to a Nando's, we visited after leaving the cinema. We were met at the door, the staff ascertained this was our first visit so everything was explained. I suppose now on reflection they are not renowned for the menu choice so we had chicken, actually a boneless platter with four side dishes. Then you have to queue to place your order, collect your own napkins and cutlery and the sauces, mainly from other tables as it seems the staff did not remove them after tables were cleared.Our drinks and food arrived without undue delay and the food were appropriate was hot and there was plenty for the two of us.Now this might be a generational thing but there was no atmosphere, we watch people come in order - eat - leave, its conveyor belt dining - in/out. Now it might be different with a large group that just want to eat and go not for those that like to savour and enjoy a dining experience.The drinks were fine as was the food, but sorry Nando's - not for us.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon as a family of 4. We were quick to be taken to our table but had to wait ages in line to order our food. Only one person on the tills on a busy Saturday afternoon is a bit stupid. 3 more members of staff did turn up in the end but after waiting 15 minutes in line is was too late. Food was nice could do with being warmer though.

Feel sorry for the manger here as he seems to never have any staff and works really hard and Keeps the smiles going! No greeting by staff so again my partner and I just take a seat grab and menu and go to order as we are old Nando's fans of ... 10 years. Great food but it need more staff and it's really not clean, lots of rubbish and food on the floor. Can't expect one person to do it all. Sort it out Nando area manger.

We went Nandos on a Monday evening before going to the cinema. As usual it was quite busy but a waitress soon located a table for us. We chose our meal and it only took about 10 minutes for it to arrive at our table. It was really well cooked and was presented well. the staff are very attentive and look after us really well. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very good. Just a couple of little things that could be improved. The toilets are up steep stairs which could be difficult for older people. Also some of the tables are a little close together. Don't let this put you off. This is a really nice restaurant.

It is a while since we'd visited a Nandos.We visited midday on a Sunday before going to the cinema. The restaurant was pretty empty so service was swift.The chicken was tasty and moist, the chips and corn tasty and salad fresh.

Me and the girlfriend were visiting Gloucester again this time for her birthday for 2 days then move on to stow on the wold.. we done a nice long walk decided to try nandos as I had not had one in 5 odd years girlfriend never and friends keep banging on how good it is.. well... we enter only to be told go to the counter to order.. that might work there if I want that would have gone to a fast food joint .. Anyway as the drinks come we decided what to have ordered houmous and a tomato pepper dip.. think they dipped the tin of tomatoes on the plate shocking no taste no flavour we left it.. Ordered mains with 2 sides one of them macho peas.. never tried them so thought could be a treat.. As we waited for starters to be cleared .. oh no wait .. the chef came over said no peas thought great ordered sweet potato mash.. within a minute mains came WE haven't even finished the houmous. Mash was proper cold main was just about edible.. girlfriends chicken no taste supposed to be marinated 24 hours... in what I ask myself. . I don't know what you do to make people love it but I knew from my first visit to a nandos 5 years ago I said would never try again but believe me I will never try again....

Not sure what everyone goes on about with Nandos.. I thought id give it a go as ive heard people talk about it.. Wish i hadnt bothered.. Wasnt even table service.. Food was ok nothing special.. I was expecting more from the sauces that were supposed to be so hot.. But then I live with a chef so I expect flavour in my food... disappointed...
