The restaurant is absolutely lovely and the staff so friendly. The food exceeded our expectations. We tried some new dishes we wouldn’t normally pick (all vegan) and wow!!! we had a sharing platter of starters, a butter naan, gobi manchurian, pan bhaji and one pot biryani.

We have tried a 3 course dinner here starting from Dahi puri, Panner pocket( both the starters are tasty), then we have ordered Dal Makhni, Naan, and 🌶 Paneer (All these items we loved it, There are scope of improvement in Dal Makhni), at last we have ordered Sreekhand (this is awesome) and Gajar ka Halwa (Average) . Overall, it's worth spending.

A strange experience. We were a table of 4 who had booked a table for 7.45 last saturday. We arrived and stood at the bar for some minutes while a large table was dealt with. The food was good but we felt the portions weren't over generous, especially the rice and naan. We shared starters but our plates were cleared before all of the party had finnished eating. We ordered coffee but both coffee and desserts hadn't been officered to us. In fact, the waiter came to us at 10.00 and asked us to settle the bill as they closing at 10.00. We felt the price was high for what we had.

First visit - high expectations, exceeded in all counts.

Amazing curry and friendly staff

Restaurant is being refurbished so it was quiet (hence 3 stars for atmosphere). It’s a vegetarian/vegan restaurant which I wouldn’t normally go for but the food was excellent and the service was friendly and efficient. Would recommend and would come again.

Great experience, although much prefer the more peaceful Indian music, for more calming atmosphere.

Went for quick nibble in the evening to Namaste India at Norwich Thorpe Road. Recommend trying the paneer pockets and masala chai

A pale imitation of Namaste Village and I'm still none the wiser as to whether they're run by the same people? The spicing in the curries was very good but some of the sides were grim . Setting and customer service a letdown, too

We went as a group of eight and the table we got couldn't even accommodate 8 chairs, so we had to put one chair on the side of the table. We then ordered mango lassi, wasn't very impressed as it was more like mango juice. Then ordered some poppadoms and was a bit surprised that no dips or pickles were offered with it. There was no dosa available. The chilli paneer and manchurian tasted great while the pav bhaji was alright. The kaju curry was also nice. We did think that the portion sizes could have been better for the 'well above average' prices.

Accidentally ordered from here rather than Namaste Village. Don't make the same mistake as me! Ordered a collection. Greeting from staff and all subsequent interactions couldn't have been more indifferent. The food is fine to good, although the Buffalo Chick'n was very disappointing and had no flavour, plus a poor texture. I didn't eat inside but the atmosphere would not make me want to. It's fine but in future it won't be a choice of mine.

The best Indian cuisine I've eaten in the UK. by far. Simply Delicious. Even if your a meat eater I PROMISE you will not be disappointed. I hope to be back in Norwich to order from here again soon.

I love this place - as a vegetarian who loves Indian food, it’s a real treat to come here. Last visit, I brought 2 carnivores with me and they loved it too. The dosas are absolutely fantastic and the starters and main meals are innovative and incredibly tasty. They also use very good meat substitutes for some of the meals.

The Atmosphere is of course as you make it, but friendly chatty and welcoming. Food is the best I have tasted outside India and Sri Lanka. Absolutely Fabulous! Individual portions are not expensive , but it is easy to get carried away and it soon mounts up. Also they add a 12.5% service charge. Still well worth it, had a smashing leisurely evening there with the family… as did others. Great for families and couples …

Delicious food, great service, not much more I can say really. Next time I’m in Norwich I’ll definitely be coming back here. We came in just as they were about to close, but they happily stayed open longer for us and at no point did I feel rushed. The Kaju Paneer Masalar was amazing.

First of all the food was amazing and staff was very polite and friendly. We requested a brownie in the end for our daughter’s birthday as to surprise her and they made it so beautifully with a candle on top and presented it as complimentary along with her favourite chilly paneer. Would highly recommend everyone who loves Indian foods specially dal makhani , dosa and chilly paneer. Thanks to the whole team

What a fabulous meal! My friend and I had a few different dishes that were all prepared with care and presented beautifully. The servers were lovely and attentive. Don't pass them by because you think you'll miss the meat at this vegetarian/vegan establishment... you won't, because the other flavors are so tasty. Please visit this restaurant; they do such scrumptious work, they should be busy every night!

I do not like plain paratha and lachha paratha, they are literally scam, both are same , with different prices. What they do buying frozen paratha , which is in dhough form.. in 3 pound you will get 20 they sale 1 for 3.45 they just cooked inside the house , the most funny thing is ,they don't know how to cook that frozen dough also ...which comes burnt or raw.... I have pics too I was very disappointed I caught that just because I am chef . They only thing I don't like is ,if they are charging 3.45 pounds for that single piece paratha make in house and sever what is should be ......I highly recommend do not sell this paratha , which is not worthy for this price and not fresh too .... because guests is not expecting this on name of "India" we have really good cuisine please respect that sir .(owners)

We visited on a quiet Tuesday evening for dinner. There was a good atmosphere and we appreciated being seated next to a big radiator and being able to watch the world go by through the bay windows. Our food and drinks arrived promptly and it was delicious. We had the Chat Platter, Tikka Masala Paneer, and Vegetable Kolhapuri (with rice and paratha). I'd definitely recommend Namaste if you're looking for tasty vegetarian or vegan food with a nice atmosphere.

Really good food. Order Kaju Paneer masala. I guess they dont have a tandoor and hence no fresh naan bread. But the food was really good and the service by Jatin was excellent. Will surely recommend for good Indian food.

What a shame, Namaste. You basically put some frozen mixed veg in a curry sauce. When you first started you used to use proper nice fresh veg, the standard has dropped.

The flavour and quality of Namaste’s dishes is leagues above anything I’ve tasted in Norwich and rivals the best I’ve tried anywhere else in the UK. This is a gem of a restaurant and if you’ve never tried it you should. The higher prices are more than justified so if you only eat or get a takeaway from one restaurant this year it should be from Namaste.

I absolutely love this place! The food was the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The staff were lovely and friendly. Anyone visiting Norwich should come and eat here- especially vegans- it is truly incredible! ☺️

We love eating at Namaste and ordering takeaway from there too - it never fails to amaze! It’s super authentic Indian food but all veggie and vegan which is just delicious! The staff are so friendly and hospitable and smiley. The food is always fresh and hot even when it arrives at the door when we order takeaway. This will always be my go-to Indian in Norwich :)

Seemed like much of it had come from a tin… The Chapathi was definitely ready to eat. For that the price wasn’t justified… Options were ok… wouldn’t visit again…

Always amazing food and the best service!

We travel around the UK (and beyond) a lot, and always look for Indian restaurants with vegan options. This is the perfect place, as pretty much everything is either vegan or has a vegan option! We had the 'Lamb' Labbabdar and the 'Chicken' Tikka Massala, with the Crispy 'Shrimp' (which were absolutely amazing!) and, of course, poppadoms with chutneys (and the vegan mint raita). The Mango Lassi drink is absolutely incredible, like drinking a Solero ice-cream! The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and the atmosphere is spot on! An absolute must-visit for vegans, vegetarians and anybody who likes Indian food!

Visited with a group of us. Vegetarian dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. We sat outside the front in a terraced area. Staff very efficient and polite. I'd definitely visit again

We stayed at Revado Hotel and dined at their restaurant. Authentic vegetarian Indian food! We ordered the cheese paratha, Channa masala and the one pot vegetable biryani. All three of the dishes were perfect. And their strawberry pomegranate mojito mocktail 💯💯💯💯💯 The best I’ve ever had! The portions may look small but the pots are deep! We paid £24 for all of the above (15% discount for their hotel guests)

We came to this restaurant during our stay in the hotel, the food was amazing loved by all 3 of us , I had the Masala Dosa, recommended by the waiter, I am so glad I did it was the best vegetarian meal I ever had, also all the dishes were so tasty and had so much flavours, The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. I definitely would recommend this vegetarian/vegan restaurant to anyone.

Amazing food, beautiful presentation and lovely service! We had masala dosa, dal bukhara, chana biryani and some aubergine bhaji and samosas. All were fantastic, fresh and delicious with wonderful depth of flavour. Highly recommend!! (Not that it matters, but all the dishes here are vegetarian, if not vegan, and most are gluten free. If you have a restricted diet there are so many amazing options available, more than I’ve seen anywhere else). Staff are so kind and friendly as well. All round 10

Booked a table with my wife for a special occasion Sat down only to find no meat or fish on the menu, this is a vegetarian Indian!!! None of the dishes I had even heard of within the Indian menu normality. Place very dark and looked like it needed a decor vamp

We stayed at the hotel. So we took the advantage of the adjoining restaurant. We were greated with polite friendly staff. This is a Vegetarian gluten free Indian. Being a carnivore. I opted for the lamb with perfumed basmati rice with bombay potatoes and a puffed/stuffed nan. Well I will always love meat. But this food was excellent 😋 well presented and very reasonably priced. High recommended giving it a go.. You will NOT be disappointed. Keep up the good work. Scotty&TJ

I have recently had a great experience with my recent stay at this property. Not even checked in and we have already feeling so relaxed. The staff are so generous,kind and very Polite. We took the Family Room which was massive, Perfectly Clean and Organized and Child Friendly. Ravi you are really a Gem and thanks for the treat( We been spoiled with a delicious dessert as a gift on our Anniversary). Was spoiled♡♧♧♡. In the morning the breakfast was really a good Brunch and the Hospitality by the gental Staff had made us Greedy☆*☆Enjoyed the Vegetarian Omelette it was a utterly delicious Treat. The entire stay at this place was a sheer Blessing. There is all PROS To have a Stay. Connected to City Centre, Bus station,Train Station. All thanks to the wonderful Team who are running such an Amazing Place and treating everybody with Kindness.☆☆☆☆☆ Want to rate everything with ☆☆☆☆☆

went here a few weeks ago with my partner and best friend and had a phenomenal meal. everything was delicious and reasonably priced for the portions, and we wound up completely stuffing ourselves. hemisha was our server and she was incredibly helpful in making sure all our food was allergy-safe. she made sure our experience dining there was as pleasant as possible and we all greatly appreciate it! absolutely recommend and will be coming back again soon!

Such a warm welcome and fantastic food. Our 10yr old loved all the flavours as much as us. Samosa Chat and Masala Dosa are a must, although we intend to work our way through the whole menu over several visits.

Fantastic proper Indian restaurant in Norwich. If you want to try Indian this is it! Great drinks menu to compliment the wonderful menu. Highly recommended the vegan lamb curry. Couldnt even tell anything wasn't real! Parking available near by too.

Was suprised as said we got a 25 percent discount off total bill with tastecard but then it was only taken off our food and not the total bill like advertised.

Very nice food, good choice of vegetarian/vegan options; maybe even too much choice (although that's not necessarily a bad thing, considering that a lot of places don't have (m)any choices for those who choose to avoid meat. I stayed in Norwich for a few days in September. On my first night, I searched for somewhere to eat, and this place was near to where I was staying. It was a Friday, so it was rather busy, but I was fortunate enough to get a table for myself (one of the benefits of travelling alone!) I think the owner got a little bit paranoid when he saw me taking a picture of my food, because I thought I was going to give a bad review. No worries there, fella, I was just taking a pic for my Instagram story! 👍🏼
