This is a lovely place with amazing food and service! Worth a shot!

Amazing food, great atmosphere.

Friendly staff, good food and good atmosphere. My go to place for dining in or takeouts.

Few things warranting 1 star unfortunately: - Delivery late by 20 minutes - Meat incredibly dry, obviously reheated and thrown in the sauce. Not cooked in it - Item missed off order (rice), another 20 minutes added Disappointing, used to be good. I’m avoiding now

Amazing place our number 1 go to locally

We visited last night after winning a recent competition. We hadn’t visited before but feel like we have found a hidden gem! The food was delicious, great choice and great portion sizes. We throughly enjoyed it and will definitely be going back and recommending.

The food was pretty much tasteless. BIR style food, so don’t expect authentic as some reviews suggest. Staff were nice though.

Absolutely love this restaurant, had my 1 year anniversary here in 2019 and haven’t stopped since. Constantly grabbing some delicious pork mono’s. So moreish 🥰

Great place. Relaxed and informal. Feels like a cafe almost. No bells and whistles, because the food does the talking. Wait time was the only negative, however I actually think they allow you time to enjoy your food, as they asked if we wanted our mains after about 45 mins. The food is just so good. The place is spotless and it feels like they take real care of the business and that's reflected in the food. The food is just so moreish. Its not as fatty as Indian food. I don't think rhey use ghee, so it's fresher and cleaner tasting. Menu its pretty interesting. It seems to be indian fusion with Nepalese. But there are pure Nepalese options, including their dumplings which are just addictive. Loved it. Good value. Really friendly staff and as there were at least 8 Nepalese eating in there, that's all you really need to know.

A restaurant we frequently visit and always really enjoy it! Recommend to anyone who loves Nepalese food or has never tried it as staff are always friendly and helpful with menu choices

I truly wish I read the reviews before trying this horrendous restaurant. Is this what you call a chicken Masala??? They literally just take some tomato paste, pour water and sugar in it and add uncooked chicken pieces to it. I am so livid! They also robbed me of an item I paid for which was my Naan bread!!! This meal ruined my entire evening. I threw it away after 1 bite. Please do not waste your time here!!!

Lovely little restaurant. Nice,friendly staff and atmosphere. Food was delicious and good value ,and a nice wait between courses (always hate it when you feel rushed and don't have time to converse or enjoy). Could tell food was cooked lovely and fresh. A very extensive menue with lots to choose from. Would definately visit again. Was a perfect way to end our day in the local area before heading home

Lovely clean and tidy place , very friendly staff , was my first visit for quiet some time , the food was very tasty , well cooked , will visit again and try something different, for me the curry did not have enough sauce to accompany the rice , but it was tasty , the Bombay potatoes where very nice as well , and it’s good that you can order online

Didn't eat .....just attended a party

The food is absolutely delicious. It’s fresh and beautifully cooked. The staff are amazing, such a lovely atmosphere. Our favourite local restaurant!

The taste of the food was very bad .Worst experience till date.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten! De service was erg goed. We kregen een duidelijke uitleg van wat elk gerecht inhoud, of het (erg) pittig is of niet en welke opties we hadden Indien we geen vlees of vis wilde eten.

Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. Couldn't have been better.

Usually the food is great alongside the service, however this evenings meal was poor to say the least ordered delivery at six thirty email received stating one hour at 2000 called to see where meal was to be told my driver is around the corner minutes away at 2030 driver pulls up and says it’s not my fault the last delivery he had had to wait 30 minutes for. Food was warm enough to eat but very bland poor service tonight have seen the service get worse recently shame as used to be good

I ordered chicken tikka masala curry but they gave me this. It was taste like ready made curry sauce and chicken taste was not that good.

Great cuisine, very friendly staff, unpretentious decor - frequented by Gurkha military which is always a good sign - can get very busy at the weekends.

Haven't been here since before COVID, but so pleased to sat the food and service is as good as ever. One of my favourites restaurants

Amazingly friendly. With just ask for changes to the menu and it happens straight away with a smile 😃. The service speed works differently for each customer!! If you’re in a hurry just let them know straight away and things move forward quickly… Totally 👍 recommend and I’ve known people too travel 167 miles to get to this restaurant

Nice meal but slow service as wasn't that busy but still took quite a while.

I must say the flavours pack one hell of a punch, in the images is a gurkha chicken curry with mushroom rice and chips. And the starter was sukuti with keema naan. All the food and flavours are 10/10 my only criticism is I would say are that the portion sizes are rather small.

Best curry in Wiltshire, hands down!

I apologise that, I have to be true. I went to Namste Gurkha restaurant to have Nepalese food with my friends on occasion of Festival Danshai. We ordered chatpate, kurumkurum, momo and pangra for starter. Apparently non of them met our expectations, not even to considerable because. For main meal we ordered Tahli with lamb, but it did not met our expectations. Thank you.

Oh my goodness! Basic restaurant. No tablecloths etc. Extremely clean. However.... The service The food..... Wonderful. Excellent. Incredible! I have to say the best food I have had since moving to Wiltshire. These Guys are cooking amazing food and serving it. Took our leftovers home! Go. Dont hesitate. The most delicious food!

Been here a couple of times. Food is AMAZING! They have catered to my request too (not too spicy) etc. The only negative is if you want delivery it's a long wait, but it's only because they are always so busy. They are lovely people in there too! So welcoming and forthcoming with requests.

Long waiting times but good food

We have had several takeaways from here over the past twelve months whilst visiting our daughter and son in law. Tonight we chose to eat in the restaurant, wow, it was busy, every table was occupied,takeaways were very busy , the food was excellent with everything being so fresh . The staff were brilliant and so friendly. Very reasonably priced too. A must to visit if you are in the area.

Went there with 2 of my friends, the service was horrendous we ordered starters and mains and got there at 7 oclock and diddnt get out until half past 9. Why did it take 2.5hrs ?

We came here needing somewhere to eat after a long day travelling from the North. We saw one suggestions in our B&B, but I read the TripAdvisor comments and they were spot on. Friendly staff, very welcoming and the food was fantastic. The depth of flavour was amazing We ordered two different dishes, and even though they looked very similar - (I thought aye aye, this won't be good) - they were both so totally different and equally amazing. Without doubt, if I am every in this area again, I will visit. Highly recommended.

Great food, we ordered the meal for two plus a couple of other dishes. Generous portions and very tasty. We ordered a take away, ordering was super easy on the website followed by good communication for the delivery Will definitely do this again and also try going the restaurant.

Great food, especially for sharing. Order a few starters/ mains and take portions of each to sample more. Nepalese food has a similar flavour palette to Indian but with less focus on heat for most of their dishes and crunchy textures for the fried dishes. Lovely fresh naans too. Friendly family atmosphere as well

12 of us were staying locally and asked the Namaste to create a takeaway meal for us. The menu they created was excellent and plentiful. It was delivered punctually. I would highly recommend

The BEST takeaway in the area! This restaurant is why I haven’t PPP out of Tidworth. Keep up the amazing work you really do make amazing food.

So tasty!!! Always have the garlic chilli chicken supreme and every time it always does the job, absolutely incredible taste to it. My favourite are the pork momos - incredible! Friendly staff and inviting.

Simply Amazing! I came here over a year ago whilst working away, great atmosphere the staff were brilliant and the food was amazing. I'm glad to say that it hasn't changed since last time. If you fancy something a little different this is the place to try. You will not be disappointed.

So, we thought we’d try a new takeaway, friends had raved about Namastei so we thought we’d try it. Spicy sausage absolutely delicious, hot but not overly, chicken chow chow, poleko kukhura starter and main and Gurkha exotikka chicken tikka...all delicious and more than enough...

This place is GREAT! Amazing wines, food and service. Very compliant with the COVID regulations which reassured us that little bit more. Food was just a true example of Nepalese Cuisine at its finest with some exciting twist! Thoroughly recommend Namaste Gurkha for you, your family and friends..

We as a family have eaten here since it opened. Staff fantastic and food beautiful. A true reflection of Nepal served by Nepalese staff, the waitress...we love her, so helpful. We always have MoMo’s and Chilli Chips, the Everest Khasi is to die for and...

This is our favourite restaurant. So sad it had to close over lock down so when the doors re-opened to be able to sit and be served we were delighted. The food were once again stunning, We all had a beautiful meal and service brilliant...

Ordered now a few times from them. The food is always delicious my only complaint is it's been like warm the last few times. Wouldn't stope ordering again though. I would recommend it. Try the Gurkha exotika 😋 and the Gurkha curry 😋.

Had mo mo's for the first time. Stunning. Will just have them next time I go (but the chicken tikka and dahl was to die for). Can't wait till this poo is over so I can have a sit in.

It is run by a lovely bunch of staff. They were polite and courteous. They are limited to takeaways at the moment but the food is always delicious. Well worth a try.

This has become my favourite curry house. The food is always excellent & so is the beer. But even better than that is the very warm welcome you get. It is like visiting a favourite relative.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have sat in and had a takeaway, There's a lot of food in a portion. Take care and ask about how hot things are, i found two chillies really hot, but the staff helped me out with some form of cooling milk drink - Dhan'yavāda Namaste Gurkha

Great overall service. Food was way better than expected

Beautiful flavours but unfortunately the meat was very dry. The chargrilled chicken was so dry I couldn't eat it. Not like the Gurkha curry's I'm use to in the Falkland's where the meat is succulent and juicy and tender. But like I said the flavours were beautiful. I'll try a different type of curry next time. Hopefully with a few bones and fatty bits.

Visited the Gurkha after hearing many praises from friends, and I’ve never been more disappointed. Upon arrival, we received no acknowledgement of our arrival, no greetings or approach from anyone until we stood by the door for 5 mins. This was on a very quiet...

This is the best food you will ever taste

Lovely food, the best I've had in a long time, so much do we returned again a week later and had the same things. Very reasonable priced even the bottles of wine. Definately recommended Kurum Kurum, chow meins, and chilli chips.

Another family get together. Where else would we choose to celebrate. An amazing restaurant with outstanding food. A very homely atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome.
