Nali Restaurant/چێشتخانەی نالی in Barking and Dagenham

We drove 2 hours to eat at this restaurant. It was amazing and the chef was exceptional. I have been served very nicely. The foods were excellent and we got a lot for what expected. The price was amazing for the amount of food I had with my family of 4. Great food and will highly recommend. Very clean restaurant.

Price: Moderately priced; good value for the quality and portion sizes, Great spot for a casual, flavorful meal. Would definitely return!

Nothing too special about this place. Ask for fresh nan u get a stale nan warm up on grill for 1 minute. And then gives you a bullshit story about why his nan are soft. Would I eat here again NO.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. We went on Saturday night with one hour to closing, and were met with the owner who kindly explained the menu to us and patiently went through our questions until ordering. We had to go to Asda to collect things and by the time we got back to his restaurant it was a minute past closing time but he had kindly packed all of our food and even took pictures of the food before wrapping it up to keep it warm. The service was fantastic and the food was wonderful - it was fresh, hot and flavoursome. We ordered different mixed grills and he so generously also packed us some rice and qouzi meat which was delicious. I would definitely come back. Many thanks to the owner for his kindness and excellent service to us!

Very good Kurdish food. You can find a lot of different ranges of food. As soon as they open this restaurant my friend and I were always going to buy the food. The price is OK as well.

You have to come here and eat the lamb. Its so delicious. The waitress that served us was really nice and helpful. They accept cash and card. They have toilet facilities also.

Ordered a mix shawarma with couscous as takeaway. Meat was good but not enough to justify the spend. The couscous was drenched in oil. First and last visit.

The place at first seemed nice however the food came out with zero flavour. All meats are bland, rice was hard and bland, complimentary soup was again bland. Waitress misheard us and gave us the wrong platter, however that worked out for the best as the food has zero flavour.

I bought fish and I ask not putting on fish lemon but the bring fish only testing lemon I asked replacing fish and make new fish plate for me but I see men putin salad from person who not finish salads in my plate is not professional

Food is amazing and the service even better. As soon as you sit you get a soup, salad and hummus on the house perfect for these cold days. We had the special platter no.1 which easily feeds 3 people and everything was amazing, definitely recommend getting the Kurdish kebab it has become one of my favourite and at the end we got tea and some pastry on the house. JazakAllah.

Very warm welcoming place.... They serve you with their complimentary lentil soup and tea... And recommend you to some of their dishes... I have become a regular here.... Large portions and great taste... In house flatbread is amazing and goes into their wraps which are really good....

Great service, good atmosphere, and plenty of sitting area. Food was good except Kurdish kebab (did not like it - by looks its Adana kebab but tastewise not good). Complimentary tea and soups were tasty. Naan bread was yummy and large size. Price is very reasonable compared to other restaurants in the town. Highly recommended

Id like if the lady kept private questions to herself and didn't ask, maybe some people dont like or feel like answering. But mix grill needs adding kebab like everywhere. Food is okay, much better to pay for food here than GDK or Maccys

I was on my way to GDK when I saw this play and wondered how they could compete with such a giant next door. Upon entering I was greeted with such a warm welcoming atmosphere far from Consumer designed neighbour met with a human designed ambiance. For £15 I got a banquet as opposed to a tiny box with sad meat. Everything has depth here 10/10

I recently bought food from the Nali Restaurant in the heart of Barking. The food was amazingly delicious and a delight to eat. The star dish was authentic Kurdish kabab, Lamb Shesh Kabab and Lamb Shawarma. The meat was tender and juicy infused with aromatic spices that made each bite a burst of flavours. The naan was freshly made, turned out soft and smelling amazing. The staff at the restaurant was attentive and friendly, offered a traditional Turkish tea with savour the warmth of Turkish hospitality. overall, deserves a 5-star review on the food and service.

Supreme. Lovely, light, fresh, clay oven bread. Smokey charcoal flavour to grilled meats makes all the difference. Charred tomatoes!! Fresh salad. Lovely dressed side salad and tasty lentil and rice soup. Lovely aerated yogurt drink. Asked if I needed more bread. Super nice people and welcoming atmosphere. Loved it. Can't find a charcoal grill in Manchester...

Had the lamb ribs and rice. Had bread and soup too. Food was fantastic. Everything was very tasty. We had a lovely greeting. We were given picked vegetables, humus and soup on being seated. My colleague had the Qozy chicken which looked really good. Finished the meal with a traditional sweet tea which was perfect. Enjoyed it so much were all going back tomorrow.
