Just drove here from Longhope (Monday 13th Jan 2025) at quarter to nine and it is not open despite hours saying to the contrary. Shame because we are not from the area, just visiting and it was recommended as a good darts pub.

Great pub for local drinks, dart teams and pool teams welcome.

Was overcrowded Saturday night, tho still had a good time nonetheless.

Always a good night to be had at the Nags. Live rock bands every Saturday night. TV screens for sports although I wouldn't call it a sports bar. The drink prices are really good. Friendly staff. Love it here

Really good , proper pub. Two pool tables 4 or 5 dart boards. Only improvement would be an Ale on draft....

The Nags is the best local pub in the forest of Dean. Great atmosphere with regular bands plus all pub games like darts and pool. Not an eating place.

Great little pub in the heart of the village.

Great atmosphere, and they often have live music on the weekend. Parking is limited on popular nights, so don't be surprised to park on the road and walk... Check the opening days /times as it's not open everyday.

Fantastic place lots going on great venue for things especially darts let's hope a family fall out doest ruin things after so much effort and expense has be put into the place 😀 😊 🙂

Nice little local, lots of outside room for an evening of sunshine.

Cheap drinks, good music, good location, quick service, band was very loud and placement of band meant impossible to sit in chairs at front, suggest utilising the whole function bit so you leave a dance floor

Excellent pub in Cinderford, far nicer place than many lead you to believe. Good bar selection, friendly staff, good jukebox, skittles ally, dart board, pool table, beer garden. Pubs got it all!

Nest place to play darts and have a lovely pint

Great pub, friendly , the landlord has done it up extended inside and put in a new patio. There was a great band playing there when I went called Tequila Mockingbird so nice to hear live music again. And great that the landlord put it on even though there was still restrictions so couldn't have a full house. Very impressed.😁

I CAME HERE RECENTLY FOR SOME DRINKS, NEVER AGAIN. THE PLACE SMELLS TERRIBLE AND DESPERATELY NEEDS REFURBISHMENT. VERY SURPRISED THE OWNER TRADES WITH IT BEING SO RUN DOWN. IT'S A SHAME REALLY AS IT IS IN A GREAT LOCATION. I DON'T THINK I WILL BE VISITING AGAIN.

Family run pub with live music every Saturday night. Quiz every Sunday night from 8pm. Staff very friendly and service 20/10. A lot of choice of deal ales, largers and ciders. Very much recomended x
