Excellent Indian food at a very reasonable price. Lovely welcome and service from AJ. Apparently these are new owners and the name of the restaurant is to be changed to the Blue Elephant. Highly reccomended

Been going for 17 years. Realised Danny had sold the place. Will never go again! Bad service very long wait rude staff awful food. Over an hour wait for just a curry.Now enjoying Danny and family and staff at Askam.........

Good amazing food and great delivery!

Ordered a chicken balti but received a lamb balti instead. But over all it was very nice and we were happy the delivery driver was able to find us.

First time here as we're only visiting for a few days, but the food was incredible! Propably the best curry we've ever had. We ordered for collection and everything was ready on time and the staff were very friendly when we came to collect. Tasted so fresh and just delicious. I would definitely recommend!

very late order, 2 hours 20 mins after ordered. phoned restaurant 3 times, kept being told 10-15 mins. Food very cold, salad sweaty and horrible. Delivery driver said he only delivers so can't accept complaints, said he had been trying my number but wasn't working. Phone has been fine all evening and I took a call from my daughter in Egypt earlier. Very disappointed.

Really fast reliable service, was really needed after a long day travelling and no tables available at my hotel, interested to try other dishes during my stay here !

Been many times with friends. Speaking for all , they enjoyed the food, and the ambience. Some of my friends have never tasted Indian, Bengali dishes. They thorougjly enjoyed their first time and said they will be returning very soon. A warm inviting friendly greeting from all the staff, a young lady with fair hair served us drinks and was shown to our table. A young man, who I believe is the son of the owner greeted us when served us the pickle dish and poppadoms. The Queen of Naaz herself runs a delightful restaraunt, flawlessly. We ordered different dishes and all was sublime. I ordered the Chicken, Pathia Balti with Onion rice wish stuffed Piratha. Some ordered the Matchli Baza, a wonderful fish dish with added prawn dish. Others ordered King Prawn with lemon Rice. Everyone enjoyed their meals and will be returning very soon. Sam B.

We recently spent the day in Ulverston whilst visiting the South Lakes and decided to pop into Naaz for dinner. We’re so glad we did! Everything from the welcome to the service and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful and thought the food was divine. Definitely one of the nicest Indian food experiences we’ve had. Thank you so much.

Food was okay, lamb was really tough and the chicken tandoori was really sickly sweet. Karai lacked a bit of flavour in my opinion. Okay overall for the price but not great. Delivery was on time 👍

This is my favourite Indian restaurant, not only the staff, service but the food. Been here many times. The staff have always got time to be pleasant and have a chat. Always smiling. The food is superb. My number one choice is Chicken Pathia Balti with Lemon Rice with stuffed Parata. Glorious tasty..food. not to hot, flavoursome and plentiful.

Beautiful and hot meal as always. Arrived by a pleasant driver who communicated well and pleasantly interacted when unable to locate us. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Visited Naaz with my family as lots of other restaurants were fully booked. The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The flavours of the food were so lovely and the staff are all really nice. The mixed grill platter was heavenly

Ordered online to get 30% turned up to store to pick up order and then they refused and said I should have called up Or walked in to order for 30%. Weren’t helpful after that and showed zero service and understanding.

We have been to the Naz before and it's been excellent. Unfortunately it wasn't this time. We booked a table 2 weeks before going and when we turned up and said we'd booked a table the response was:Oh. It's busy downstairs so would you like to sit upstairs? It was as they knew nothing of our booking. We all had a pint of Kingfisher. It tasted of nothing.... not sure what happend there. When the food arrived it was cold to put it mildly. There was a lon wait between courses so we guess the food was hot to start with but the waiters didn't bring it to table. Nobody came to ask how everything was and nobody asked if we wanted more drinks.They did seem to do lots of takeaways so maybe that's why our food got cold. The food was very tasty but we won't be going back.

The tarka dahl , saag aloo , poppadoms ,chapati and pickles were lovely and great value. The curries were not so great. The tikka masala was very sweet and there was not much meat and the kashmir prawn was also really sweet. Both really skimped on the protein and I felt they were overpriced .

Meal was delivered by a happy and pleasant delivery driver. The meal arrived hot and was beautiful. My only criticism was that the chicken tikka was a little salty tonight. All other items were perfect, thank you.

We have eaten here many times, the food, service, staff are a joy to be with. Balti, Buna, Tandori, Masala and others i have tried, different rice, the dips, just a delight, now came across my go to meal recently, Machli Baza, Exotic fish marinated in various spices & shallow fried, served with a spicy prawn saice, An exquisite fish dish. Absolutely delicious, served with Lemon Rice, oh what joy, the fish is plentiful and just melts in your mouth. Looking forward to go again very soon.

Food was good, no mango chutney received despite ordering pickle tray, all food required heating up on arrival as it was so late. I contacted the restaurant to ask where it was as online it said delivered and they told me it “should be on the way”. We ended up eating at around 21:45 after late delivery and warming it up!

Great portion sizes.. unfortunately, food is quite bland and lacked spice.

Having lived in Birmingham for 30 years we are used to high quality Asian food. This place has blown us out of the water. The food is superb and to top it off the service is second to none. You don’t feel suffocated but every need attended to. Value for money is also amazing especially if you go on a Sunday or Monday ( 30%off). It was so good we went two days on the trot whilst on holiday. We will always come here when we’re in the area

Called here Friday evening from Kendal . 5 pm . It was open and we were welcomed in . We were served by the most friendly ,polite , young man. Drinks, starters , mains , delicious , big portions ,great value for money , good products . Will return soon . Thankyou , best value ever.

Really delicious food, one chips was missing (easy mistake while reading order) and was 35 mins late. Not end world but we were starving.

We were going to The Coro theatre for a play and wanted to eat early. What a lovely surprise this place was. Food was DELICIOUS and the staff were lovely. The prices were really good too. I have paid a lot more for food of less quality. Can't recommend highly enough. Great place. 👌✨✨

Love the Naaz wouldn't go anywhere else

Food was bland and lacked flavour. Ate about half the order and threw the rest. Quite disappointed.

We have visited Naaz's restaurant for the last two years. Naaz's food is absolutely delicious, staff so lovely & kind & owner of restaurant is the most lovely soul you could ever wish to meet! We cannot recommend this beautiful restaurant highly enough, we are always welcomed like friends. We look forward to returning next year.

Food was okay, a bit on the sweeter side for me and fam. Naan bread was also quite burnt but most of it was still edible. Also had some sauces spilt all over the delivery bag.

I’ve been here many times this year, the service is fantastic, Emma welcomes you with a warm, professional manner, makes time to have laughs, yet she shows professionalism. Visited on a Saturday night. The place was busy and the waitress was run off her feet, but we were still served in plenty of time. The food was excellent, just a shame we didn't have room for it all! Would visit again.

Fantastic curry best Korma I’ve had in a while. Lovely creamy sauce. Delicious meal. Premises are very 1980’s though but doesn’t detract from quality of food

We called in for food with another couple one Saturday evening. We hadn't booked but the place didn't seem overly busy, other than one large group. The service was poor.....we waited a good 20 mins for drinks to arrive. Starters arrived within half an hour...

Our first order from this company and it was delivered on time and piping hot on arrival. Food was exceptionally good and all items were delivered as ordered. I like spicy food and the Madras did not disappoint when it states ‘very hot’ a pure delight on the senses. Will be ordering again.
