Not efficient staff at all. Everytime doing mistakes. I hope the owners dont just think about grabbing money and hire proper staff

We walked into this place because it looked clean and airy. We ordered a Chana and Lamb Bhuna—the lamb was passable other than being sunk in oil, but the Chana, parathas, and naans were awful. I couldn’t even finish half of the Chana. Easily the worst meal we’ve had in Tooting and probably in all of London for the past few years! This is the Tooting branch of Naan Staap.

Called in here on my own for a quick breakfast as I didn’t fancy a coffee shop and wanted something different. We don’t have this chain up north and I was intrigued. I had a naan stuffed with spicy potato, and topped with cheese. It was lovely. Just the right level of spice for me. It was a good size and arrived freshly cooked and hot. I also had a Karak Chai tea, another first and I loved the taste. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and pleasant.

Naanstaap Gantshill - The food is not great and a bit overpriced, £6/£7 for a paratha… egg paratha: the omelette had almost 2 kilos of onions in it but no taste aloo paratha very thick and not much flavour Naan chanay, naan was just warmed up from a pack (not made in house) One staff member was very polite but the apparent manager was insolent, would not go there again

First time for me, to the new southall branch Deco of the shop was really cool, seating is comfortable. Food was delicious, tasted fresh, and came hot out of the kitchen. Service was excellent. Nav did a great job. A smile makes anyone feel welcome. Well done, naan staap with definitely come again check out my review on @tastytraveltv

We went to Naan Staap for some sweet paratha and chai - very basic items to be honest, and the food that we got was horrible. First, the parathas were cold and not sweet, then the chai was cold as well. We asked to replace everything. The parathas that came the second time were slightly sweeter than before but were half cooked and the chai or the paratha - one of the thing was bad, since it made all 4 of us nauseous. It's been more than a day and we're all still sick and feel its food poisoning. I'd never go to this horrible place again

Really disappointed, went as a family food was barely average, and the price for what you get is pretty ridiculous. If I were you I’d avoid.

The worse place just avoid at any cost. The manager including the staff are rude. Don’t think about complaining because you will just get insulted by the manager. She is a horrible manager she will start swearing at you in Urdu and tell you to get out it’s her shop. Just avoid I’ve never had to deal with service like this. People reading this review may think it’s probably not true what I’m writing but honestly the staff there are not pleasant. When going to a place to eat you look at the service they give you first then food and we didn’t even get that far to order food as the service was awful I wouldn’t even give 1 star.

This spot has not left my mind since I returned from my trip to London two weeks ago, so I thought to leave a review for anyone finding places to eat good Pakistani food. This place became the highlight of my trip to London as I was craving some desi food which I am unable to get in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Me and my friend came to their branch in Ilford for dinner and were greeted very nicely by their staff. Their menu had a variety of options but we decided to go with their signature Naan along with their Sandwiches and of course Tea. The bill came out to be a lot cheaper than I expected given that we were in London so I was happy to see that they have taken an initiative to serve desi food at such an affordable price in a place where this food is considered as a delicacy. Coming to the food itself, sorry I did not take any food photos, as I was extremely hungry and boy their food did not disappoint. It immediately took me back to Lahore and that is a huge compliment. Especially I got to give credit to their restaurant manager, Hamza, who I believe was so humble and checked up on us and other customers regarding the food and whether we wanted anything else. Overall it was an amazing experience and I look forward to coming back on my next trip to London. Cheers.

Ok food. Staff need to be more professional. I had some food here today. It took a while to make. It’s clear that they aren’t well enough staffed. The lady serving me when I arrived was on what seemed like a personal phone call. Took a long time for her to finish regardless of her seeing that I was waiting. The food when it arrived was lukewarm and at best ok. A request for tap water was declined. An effort to buy some chilli sauce was declined as they told me I could pay cash only. Didn’t make sense to me. Overall the food is ok but the place isn’t particularly welcoming.

I had the unfortunate experience of eating at naan staap. I ordered a club sandwich and was disappointed by a chain of events detailed below as well as the food quality. 1) The restaurant at Walthamstow offers card payments though I was specifically asked if I could pay cash, reasons for which still bemuses me. 2) Upon agreeing to pay cash it was disappointing that the person at the payment counter had the audacity to admit he didn't have change and played down not providing me the appropriate change in return, on a customer facing and service driven business this is certainly not an implied part of dealing and neither does this bode well for the overall customer experience. At this point in time I was left flabbergasted as it had never happened to me before. 3) At the counter I was asked that my club sandwich comes with regular chips and should I choose I can go for masala chips, which I agreed to, at this point in time I was not aware there was an additional charge for this. This was yet again another unfortunate experience, generally as part of honest business practice one would expect the additional charge be mentioned upfront, charging for sprinkling 2 spice mixes on your chips is rather excessive let alone, when one doesn't know this attracts an additional charge. The principle as opposed to cost in this scenario is imperative and as a customer the interaction left me with a bad taste in my mouth. 4) If the above mentioned issues weren't enough I searched for solace in the fact that at least the food might match the ambiance of the restaurant. Regrettably I was once again left disappointed, the "club sandwich" I ordered was more a "Chicken and Mayo" sandwich. The chicken pieces were few and far between and was generally just lettuce and tomato drenched in Mayo. Generally with a club sandwich it has 3 layers which this did have but every layer was chicken and Mayo as opposed to 3 types of meat. I think this place needs a 101 on not only how to interact with customers but also what the meaning of items they offer actually are. I would not recommend this place to any one.

The place is full of colour and positive energy, customer service was very welcoming and attentive, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the other food on the menu. Brilliant experience!

This is newly opened branch of Naan Staap near Gants Hill. The food has always been delicious but what makes this branch apart is excellent customer service and the ambience. Had a fantastic opportunity to meet the owners as well and must say, they lead the team by the example. Will be a frequent guest to this location. Best, Prasad

Portion sizes not up to standard but the menu variety and the quality of food is very good. The place was empty when we went so the atmosphere was pleasant as the interior is quite aesthetic and enjoyable

I visited the branch on Ilford Lane with my friends and ordered a lamb keema dum stuffed naan. It looked amazing but when I bit into it all I can taste was sesame seeds, I couldn’t taste any keema. I opened the naan up to realise there was hardly any keema in there (see attached pics). I complained about it and was informed they only put a little bit in there. I could only taste sesame seeds and plain naan, I couldn’t finish it due to the awful taste. I paid £5.25 for a small naan that was (over) coated with sesame seeds with hardly any keema filling. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Little gem of a place. The naan was so good! And so many fillings to choose from. Had the kadak chai as well, was a very nice accompaniment to the naan. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu especially the dessert naans! Also a nice colourful theme inside.

If you want authentic Naan and crispy Paratha with a cup of Chai, there is no better place. I highly recommend the Aloo Paratha & Lamb Qeema Masala Naan.

I went today for lunch bite poori masala and filter coffee. Staff were very hospitable and kind enough for me to use plug point near to the table as well a bringing me cutlery to the table with privacy from others ( working lunch) The poori masala was fresh and puffed with lovely masala potato and veg korma and to end with a hot filter coffee. See you again Raj

This place is an institution for traditional gujerati sweets and savoury snacks. The kachori is a personal favourite of mine, and that special sauce they give with savoury snacks is unique.

Ordered the chicken tikka wrap and masala chips. Waited with a buzzer for my food. When I recieved my food, the wrap was cold along with the chicken tikka inside. The host blamed this on the fact that the salad is cold and that is why the whole wrap is cold uncluding the meat. If I wanted a cold wrap I would have gone to waitrose downstiars. The masala chips were overcooked, dry and had a bitter flavour to them. I had wanted to try this place for a while, but my first experience was a bad experience.

A nice looking relaxed restaurant let down by some poor quality food. Lamb pasanda loaded with sugar and was more like a korma. Complained, but they said it's their style. If that's the case, try a better place with a real Indian chef. A disappointing experience!
