Food tasted good, then spent the next 6 hours dealing with salmonella. Waiting staff were nice but took ages to get our check.

I've just visited this excellent restaurant which is located on Tib Street in Manchester City centre for a takeaway. I was greeted by very friendly staff, who took my order of spicy chicken green curry, rice and chopped Chilli and fish sauce. All of the food was cooked to perfection. Very Highly recommended.

The food was amazing, the portions were generous and i highly recommend the Massaman curry and salt & pepper calamari. The staff were super friendly as well and the decor was really cool.

I had an amazing dining experience here! The Tom Yum Soup was absolutely delightful — full of rich, tangy flavors that hit the spot. The Red Curry with Beef was equally delicious, with just the right balance of spice and creaminess. I have to say, I didn’t quite take to the Jasmine Rice — but that’s probably because I’m not used to flavored rice. So, if you’re like me and haven’t had it before, you might want to give it a try with a bit of caution. That said, my friend loved it, so it’s definitely a personal preference! The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, and it wasn’t too crowded when we visited in the afternoon, which made for a really comfortable experience. I’d definitely recommend this place — great food and a lovely vibe!

We visited on a Tuesday lunchtime,it was quiet. What a fantastic place! The food was absolutely delicious, service was friendly and the price was very cheap for the amazing quality of food.We had two starters and two mains,two drinks for less than £50 which is amazing. We will definitely be visiting again.

My son lives in Manchester and introduced me to My Thai when I visited, I've since been back twice. Its a hidden gem! Such a lovely place with a nice relaxed atmosphere. The service is spot on and the food is amazing! I'd recommend the chicken noodle soup, pork dumplings, spring rolls and the chow mein. The portions are decent and the prices reasonable.

Excellent place I took my girlfriend here today and she loved it as well She's never had Thai food before I loved it myself. I loved it as it was authentic Thai cooking It felt like I was living in Thailand 🇹🇭 again I also loved it as I could speak Thai fluently with the staff as I'm half Thai myself The waitress pancake (yes her name is actually pancake) was very nice, friendly and very professional I got a chance to meet the chef and thank him personally The food and service is all amazing and the car park is literally outside over the road Very reasonable pricing as well Very nice,very good and excellent food. We waited at the entrance for quite a while with no greeting, no seating guidance—absolutely nothing—even though the staff did not seem particularly busy. Only after a group of white customers arrived behind us did a staff member finally come over, and when I voiced my frustration about being ignored, she rudely cut me off with, ‘Can you listen to me now?’ This dismissive attitude left me feeling both upset and baffled. We just left and will never come again.

Amazing vibes, wonderful service and the best Pad See Ew I've had anywhere in the UK (maybe anywhere, ever)! I was actually sad to take my last bite. Seriously, SO good!!! I was only in town for one night and I'm so glad I ate here.

Authentic and thoroughly delicious Thai food — heaven in each mouthful. I had pork dumplings to start, my 15 year old son had chicken wings. Main course for me was Gang Pedo — mind-blowingly tasty pork belly with jasmine rice. My son had pumpkin chicken, but it was slightly too fierce for his young palette. He loved the Thai iced tea though…said it was like drinking liquid red velvet cake.

Great atmosphere. Appreciate they have small (affordable) starter potions of Tom Yum and Tom Kha soups AND include jasmine rice with mains - every Thai place should do this. There is an additional up-charge for dining in which is somewhat common in the UK. But don’t quite understand why different proteins have a different % increase.

Excellent food here. Had battered vegetables and a Tofu Pad Ped with egg noodles. All very tasty and the Pad Ped had excellent flavours. Good service too.

Proper authentic little Thai place. A part of a small chain. Everything we had was great apart from one item - Larb Moo - terrible, smelt awful too. The bathroom also smelt bad in here. But the staff were nice and the food was good and a reasonable price.

I looooove Thai! First visit here. You must walk upstairs to get in. Colourful murals. Great downtown vibe! Service was wonderful and the food was even better! The most delicious tofu and tea! We cannot wait to return. The food came out soooo quickly!

Visited this place in Manchester yesterday after craving Thai food and so glad we did. Food was absolutely perfect in taste, temperature, and price (even cheaper as takeaway). Staff were really friendly and efficient. They played Thai songs in the background which was amazing, and the place was lovely, vibey, and clean. Would highly recommend.

Love this little place, it's become a firm favourite on my visits to Manchester. Always good food and great to be in a unique, independent restaurant with bespoke decor, menu and service than a generic chain which looks the same as anywhere else. Will definitely be going back!

Visited this restaurant as I was craving for Thai food and I was quite happy I picked this place. We got the Tuk Tuk Fried Rice, Pad Thai and the crispy chicken wings. The food was amazing with good portions and good value. Would definitely recommend and I am definitely going back another time!

Good restaurant and amazing service, but portion sizes are so small. When I got mine main I thought it's complimentary starter because it was so small. I was shocked how small portions are. Just make normal size mains. It's really ridiculous. I am not talking about meat or seafood just add more rice or pasta. We orderer extra rice, even that was so small. How greedy should the owner be to ask the staff to make such a small portions.

Good Thai spot in central Manchester, Northern Quarter. Nice atmosphere. Very quick service. Food was tasty and very reasonably priced - unusual in the NQ now! Plenty of tables, refreshing to be able to walk in & not need a prior booking. We had the chicken dumplings and spicy chicken wings to start, followed by a Beef Brisket Massaman, and Chicken Pumpkin curry, both served with jasmine rice. This was plenty for 2 people, and we were very hungry upon arrival! Mythai isn't going to change your life but I'd highly recommend it if you need a quick bite of good food without spending a fortune.

Would not recommend- clearly microwaved food. Overly expensive for what it is. Highly priced simply because its in town. A more fair price would be £5 for each dish - which is still quite generous as each dish is likely to cost £1 to make. Staff are friendly however.

I had the spring rolls and braised beef massaman curry. Both were delicious and made for an excellent dinner. The restaurant is small and could be easy to miss, but the atmosphere is great, with Thai music playing in the background, not too loudly - you can hear the sizzle of the nearby open-style kitchen as the chefs (owners?) cook. There was only one server (daughter of the owners?) who was very nice and ready to answer questions or provide her advice if asked for it!

Fantastic. Some of the best Thai food I've had outside of Thailand. The waitstaff were very friendly and efficient. Food was fantastic, great prices and served incredibly quickly. 10/10 would recommend!

THE best Thai food, authentic and fresh if you can turn a blind eye to the decor. Not sure on the vibe with that but the food and service are fab and great value for money. Will be back!

We ordered two main dishes (Pad Num Prik Pao and Pad cashew nuts) and it came within 5 minutes. The chicken tasted old & the food was so sweet. We ended up just eating the rice & leaving. Very disappointing

This place is an absolute treasure. Staff is always so kind, and the food is amazing.

Does what it says on the tin, brilliant little eatery with traditional dishes, cosy relaxed atmosphere and the servers are brilliant. Only criticism is the spicy dishes are not spicy as I'd wish it to be, but the food is tasty as can be, favourite is the crispy tamarind duck and the braised beef masaman curry. Will definitely be visiting again and again.

It’s a cheap and nice Thai restaurant. Red curry with crispy chicken is only £12. They offer takeaway discount which is lower than £10 and is a really good bargain. Generous amount of chicken and we ordered a duck noodles, it has a coconut taste with lemongrass, duck is also very generous. Although it is a bit ‘white’, but overall still a good restaurant to visit if you want some good thai. Not to mention their staff is very nice and the Thai milk tea is also very nice

Looks trendy but was sick for 4 days after. Probably salmonella. Food arrived within 2 mins of ordering and was lukewarm. Staff were rude and wore dirty plastic gloves. Avoid this place!!!

Great little place for a quick Thai bite on the way to a gig at the Arena. We got lucky and just beat the evening crowd. The food arrived quickly and was super tasty. I had the Massaman curry and often I'll ignore the potatoes but they were just as tasty as the chicken and sauce. The steamed pork dumplings were so good too.

Some of the best Massaman Curry I’ve ever had (lived in Thailand for a year in my early twenties). Could be spicier, but that’s on me for not asking. There was one woman working when I went (cooking and serving) and she was an absolute rockstar. Highly recommend. Fast, reasonably priced, and delicious.

Cute place with pretty authentic Thai food. Som tam is super flavourful with fresh ingredients. Tom yum is on the sweeter side with cherry tomatoes in it. Which is quite different from what I’ve had in Thailand. Wish it was less sweet and more sour. But still flavourful enough I gobbled down the whole thing. The lady is also really friendly and nice.

Not authentic at all. We had four different dishes and all tasteless . With Thai you expect tangy, sweet, salty and spicy but the curry was bland not a hint of chilli anywhere. Rice was just edible. If the noodle dish had an attitude, it would have been nonchalant. Hardly any egg in the dish and maybe 4-5 pieces of chicken. No hint of fish sauce or pad Thai seasonings. There were no condiments on the tables, basic as hell. Saw the Waiteres to place the order and never saw her again until time for the bill.

We've been twice in two days, really lovely and authentic food and great service too ❤️ love the massaman curry ❤️
