Mystic Dragon in Fife

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the premises plus good hot food. The dishes were piping hot and the chips were lovely and crispy. Walked in off the street and didn't have long to wait until the takeaway was ready.

Meal was ready promptly and all dishes were very hot. Traditional take away - acceptable quality and excellent value for money.

After 18 attempts in which the number was engaged or rang out I have given up. When I have ordered food it has taken over 2 hours to be delivered and the phone signal is conveniently very poor when you want to pay by card.

I ordered a vegetable chow Mein . It consisted of noodles, soy, some chopped green pepper and some baby sweet corn sliced thinly and vertically. Something I could have knocked up for pennies when I was a skint student. Not even any onion. Not happy as a vegetarian. I’m afraid it went straight into the bin. This place used to be great. I’m not sure what happened but it looked as if they couldn’t be bothered

We ordered a range of dishes take out from this place about 2 weeks ago. Lovely staff but food (while somewhat edible) was totally bland and uninspiring.

Having moved to the area a few weeks ago, we were keen to find a great local Chinese for weekend takeaways. Mystic Dragon fits the bill. My husband loved his Ku Po Chicken and my Chicken Fried Rice was ace. Prawn Crackers were lovely too. Our next visit will be to stock up our freezer to see us through the next few weekends since we're a few miles away.

Just avoid it. So disappointed. Salt and pepper chicken was t even salt and pepper. Just rubbery battered chicken. Cold. Spring rolls taste like there from Aldi and the curry is so watery. Lettuce was in the salt and pepper chicken, never seen that before. Made the chicken horrible. Only got it as another Chinese was closed. £23 to be super disappointed. Tried to call them and the line was busy.

Best Chinese in Cupar by far i have tried the rest now try the best every meal i have had is good from here.

Had a takeaway from here while staying nearby and having looked it up in here and google! Service was quick and food was nice.

My mum recommended this takeaway for my son’s birthday meal, absolutely delicious! Was a busy place with customers but served quickly, friendly and helpful chap behind the till, excellent value for money and the food was brilliant! Cupar doesn’t seem to be lacking in good Chinese food!

I’ve tried this place twice now, months apart and sad to say it’s very very poor. The sweet and sour chicken is the poorest I’ve had. Sadly wouldn’t recommend or return. If this is the best Chinese in Cupar then I’m sad.

Best Chinese I have been to. Excellent food and good service,will also deliver to Balmeadowside lodges(noted for next time). Service is quick and food top notch,staff are very friendly.

A friendly little restaurant which caters for all types be it family or going solo also do take aways. The food is delicious and we'll presented there is nothing bad I can say about this little gold mine.

The food is the best chines in cupar, not to much salt or Msg. Special chow Main is my recommendation . Picture or menu as they are not online

This establishment offers a huge attractive menu. Food is prepared quickly and the helpings are very generous.

We ordered a meal from our holiday lodge. Great food and bonus was they delivered to us. Would advise ordering early though as we did wait quite a while for it to arrive, which they did tell us before we ordered.

Really good food slightly more expensive but well worth it. Recommend salt and chilli king prawns chicken wings and Bbq spare ribs are so yummy! Very friendly and will deliver

Always order food from here on a sat night then they charge extra for prawn crackers when I order under a tenner?they give free crackers if it's over a tenner!food is brill but look after your customer

Sauce was like glue and all dishes tasted the same. The chicken was like rubber and the crispy beef was soggy. Prawn crackers were the best thing about the dish.

Always the pick of we are having a Chinese takeaway. Have been going for years and would never switch. Great tasting food, great service and reasonably priced.

China, gran comida para llevar la comida siempre es buena, nunca grasienta y excelente relación calidad-precio. Recomiendo el pato con curry, es adictivo.

Standard Chinese take-away with normal range in their menu. Food was tasty and generous in quantity. Service was rapid and not expensive.

Being a great da of Chinese food I'm always wary of trying new establishments but this quickly subsided here. All the dishes felt & tasted fresh while the prices are very competitive.

Mystic Dragon was listed as a recommended Takeaway at the lodges we were staying at. We had passed earlier in the day so called in for a menu. We tried calling our order from the lodge but couldn't get signal so just drove through. The guy at the desk was very friendly he apologised that the food would take 30 mins which was totally fine with us! We realised as we sat and waited that it was frequented by locals and the guy knew everyone's name which was lovely to see. Our food was superb-I would of taken photos but we practically inhaled the food we were that hungry & it was that good. I Have left my recommendation of this takeaway in the lodge visitor book.

By far the best Chinese takeaway in the Cupar area. Good service by friendly staff and by far the best food for flavour and texture mean that I always make the 14 mile round trip whenever I want Chinese food. It's just a shame that the Mystic Dragon is no longer a restaurant serving food on the premises.

The Mystic is a lovely family run restaurant. Alan normally takes the orders and handles them efficiently (but if he's out doing deliveries then his mother may answer the phone and her English isn't the best). There's only one Chef - Alan's Dad. Sometimes the food is fantastic, somtimes it's only average but the prices are reasonable and the portion sizes medium to large (smaller portion sizes are available on request). Order more than one meal and they'll throw in free Pawn Crackers too. I probably get a carry out from them twice a week. They also deliver locally. The food is freshly cooked to order, if it's quiet perhaps 10-15 minutes, when they're busy of course, considerably longer. I've tried the food from other Chinese restaurants in Cupar, but I keep coming back to the Mystic.

As caryy out's go this was a very good choice, it did however take longer than expexted to be cooked given there was nobody else in waiting. When we got it it back though it was well worth the wait with the chicken dishes full of flavour and succulent, which is more than you can say of most. Rice was clearly freshly cooked and the portion sizes were more than enough. Keep up the good wok.

Usualy one of THE best chinese establishments in cupar,2nd time we've had a bad order,we decided to try again assuming last order was a one off,how wrong we were!! Dont know if new chefs are in but order was vile..chow mein was cold on arrival which was late ,bit sparse on veg and cooked n jelly gloop n full of oily greese! Fried rice i can oly assume had previously been frozen and not properly cooked through as it was made up of sticky balls that wouldnt seperate!....last order of a beef curry was jus a watery mess!few bits of onion ,not much beef! Will b avoiding at all costs now!very dissapointed,not great when u look forward to it and its disgusting!!

The staff here are always friendly and helpful with their knowledge of menu,always really fresh veg used ,you can tell this by the crispness of certain dishes, never over spiced and great portion sizes, free prawn crackers on occassions so bonus! must commend the management after I was given the wrong order, I phoned and said it was wrong and the manager brought our meal up to our home free of charge and as we live out of town I thought was great, really can not fault them.

Best Chinese food in cupar! Wouldn't go anywhere else. The ribs are our family favourite and we order them every time delivery is always very very quick and food is always incredible

Service is always excellent here. Caters for children and elderly with smaller portions,also they are happy to make the meal to suit you. Food is always consistantly high quality. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

Great food, good prices and efficient friendly staff. A brave decision was made to close the restaurant and concentrate on the takeaway side of the business but it appears to have been a wise decision, the quality of the food is great.

Where to start? Nothing positive to say about this place.We phoned our order through to which we have to repeat the order at least 3 times... 1 for 1 cowboy!When we received our order the delivery driver said "wasn't sure if this was the right address.. We didn't write it down..." This place impresses me more by the second! 2 for 2We opened our portion of Vegetable Spring Rolls.... Pork! Duck! Fish! Nothing negative all good best curry ever never need to go any further. Always friendly service and quick on delivery.Price fantastic.
