I recently had the pleasure of dining at your karak chai shop, and I was blown away by the experience. The food was absolutely delicious, the ambience was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The karak chai was the star of the show. It was rich, creamy, and full of flavor. The samosas were also very good, and they were perfectly crispy. The cheesy fries were a bit of a guilty pleasure, but they were definitely worth it. The panner starter was also very good. It was light and refreshing, and it was the perfect complement to the karak chai. The ambience of the restaurant was also very nice. It was warm and inviting, and it was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. The service was also excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly, and they made sure that everything went smoothly. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at your karak chai shop. First time been here with wife today, and it was the highlight of the day. The ambience is wonderful, music not too loud, really clean, and spacious. Food was delicious, my pizza was very spicy but loved it, I mean why do people complain about spices when they review a Pakistani restaurant when there's always Mcdonalds. My wife loved her margaretia. The surprise was the sprinkle cake which was delicious and fresh, and I'm not a cake man. Prices are good, don't know what others are complaining about for eating in such a pleasant establishment. Staff very friendly. Time for food to come to table about the same as any restaurant, no complaints. Will be back again hopefully. Peter & Louise Lumley

Had the pleasure of visiting Karak Chai Saturday Morning. Was Hosted by Mahi - Lively young lady and very respectful. Ordered Apna Breakfast and Halwa Puri. Absolutely amazing. Been here before but very impressed in this visit. Food was amazing and serving was brilliant. 🤩 Place has a good ambiance. Kudos to the playlist as well. Complimented the food. Keep it up the good work guys.

Went there for a breakfast. Girls standing there were really nice. Service was excellent. Food was fresh nice and tasty. Will come there again. Fully satisfied it was completely value to money.

Nice,friendly atmosphere, food was nice, Staff customer service was really good. As it was my sons birthday they offered a cake but we refused due to his egg allergies unfortunately. The staff then offered karak tea which we accepted. Highly recommend!

Always good, today was superb. We had the new Lahori Channo, the daal, a Tikka wrap, samosa chat and honey paratha. A good range of tastes, textures and flavours, really could not have been better. Ignore the one star reviews, probably not used to things tasting of something.

The service is very bad. The person who takes the order always lies to you, saying it will take 15 to 20 minutes, but it takes much longer. The food is very poor and cold. I would never recommend it.

I Ordered and paid for chicken curry with extra roti, cold drink and a tea. Sat down and good 15 minutes later been told no chicken left, absolute joke wasting my time. It's not the first time it's happened, always out of something, I won't be coming back this time, they should know what's available before taking my order, and should always have stock what's on menu or take it off the menu.

I ordered two meals along with two chais, but neither of my chais were delivered. When I called to resolve the issue, I was repeatedly told that the chais were on their way, which turned out to be false. Despite being polite and requesting that the chais be delivered, I have waited five hours and still have not received them. The service was so bad but the owners are really nice people, If the chais I paid for were delivered it would have been nice.

Well been there for few times and tried their tea which was good so this time decided to try their food items and it was disappointing. They have items on menu by one name but you get something else on order.For example we ordered their *charsi karahi* which have specific aroma and way of making what we got was a chicken curry qorma with have burnt roti.I pointed this to server who said he thought the same it was qorma and not karahi! We had pav bhaji which was too spicy that would burn your stomach. An unappetising Bombay sandwich we could hardly eat one forth of it I don't think it's worth visiting here if you are going for food if you are looking for authentic and tasty pakistani and would say try elsewhere.

Service very slow. Ordered two pink teas and lotus cake after waiting decided to get as takeout … tea was hot so when i got round to drinking it i was out of the area otherwise would have sent it back … absolutely awful either they ran out or used packet mix but whoever made the pink tea it tasted powdery and overloaded it with cardomom powder and sugar …the cardomom powder was sat like thick gunge at the bottom of the cup … i was having heart palpations and couldnt drink it … it tasted like antiseptic… and yes in high concentrations cardomoms can cause palpitations and high blood pressure… for a tea house that cant even get a basic pink tea right. For the record i went in friday 12/7/24 at about 9.30pm so maybe the owner can investigate and upskill the tea maker or chef on how to make a decent cup of pink tea. Guys dont waste your money like we did … forget these tea chai type places… burgerlicious pink tea is the best… and yes i wish i had gone there instead.

Manager is moving around but kept us waiting at counter to take order was not happy with the behaviour Must hire more staff at least on weekends

Good little place in town, had to wait a little because they were really busy. Food was really good ,service was good too,the waiter was really kind. The pasta tasted fresh a bit bland but when mixed with the chicken it was really good. Burger was nice and tender. Lahori kebab roll was ok too. Got some mocktails too ,was so good especially with this heat ,I was a bit disappointed because they were served in plastic cup,last time we went we had them in proper glasses and it looked amazing.

Tea is good and they have used same stuff for pav baji and bombay sandwich which taste like🤮 please dont try these items.

Went in on Saturday 8th June. The toilet was dirty floor to ceiling that alone should shut the place down. When asking for drinks that where on the menu i was told no we only have what in the fridge no coke or pepsi etc. Had to ask for glasses to go with drinks we didn't get any. Smash burger covered in a spicie sauce after asking for no spice full of wet Lettuce unedable that was left. Asking twice for some salt and pepper that never arrived. Having ti asked for knifes and forks again twice. Tomato sauce is a cheap brand. While in there a family came in and where so loud the staff didn't do anything about it. Over priced. Toilets dirty. Avoid avoid avoid

I have ordered Kashmir chai and it wasn't taste good. Moreover it was bland and serving size was very small. According to value of money not worth it.

Food is nice; staff is nice. Manager is VERY NICE!! 🫣 Sometimes you have to wait for long periods; not because they forgot you; just because it’s too busy and only 1 person in the front. Best ambiance in town; BY FAR! Music is also good; but don’t try to sing along! People don’t like it! 😂

I gave order for pink tea when u taste it was not good I felt to do vomiting when I tried to spoke owner she didn’t come I requested 3 times but she didn’t come

Came here this morning for brunch. Food was spot on, I love the desi breakfast here nice and fresh and homemade parantha’s are the best, better than the frozen ones some places serve. Saag was my favourite. Also love the Karak Chai, Its not overly sweet like some chai’s I’ve had. To top it off we tried a Milkcake and omg its one of the best ones iv’e had. My husband ordered the carrot cake and it was divine 😋

When the kashmiri tea amd karak tea was served my friend and I were surprised to see the tiny pot it was served in for regular size drink. Atmosphere was okay.Would avoid coming in future.

first of All I would say this place should not close specially for middlesbrough where not a single cafe/restaurant offering desi breakfast.i hope you guys try to take criticism positive way. we been there many times in different times breakfast and dinner. Favorite food is Saag paratha you must try. Pav bhaji very disappointed. mooli paratha not tasty and £4 for 1 paratha is expensive. Shami burger was OK. Prices are a bit high of many things. I would request to owner please make sure you have enough experience staff in kitchen to give food on time. as we ordered and get food after 1 hour in installment. This is my opinion that Middlesbrough is a small town and once someone have bad experience then it's viral like 🔥 Also I don't understand service fee when £1.99. with these prices.

We order paratha and karak chai. Prices are a bit higher than competitors around. However, I understand the fancy decoration but not tiny portion of tea. It’s overcharged for this little portion also taste was so sweetened couldn’t take other spices. Paratha was okey it was hand made but also patato inside was very few. Im sorry but unfortunately I wouldn’t come again. Hope you the best.

In Middlesbrough it’s so rare to have a Good restaurant with good atmosphere lovely staff and mainly good food. They also have student discount as well that’s so cool. You guys should try it if you are nearby and need to try some new food.Just give it a go you won’t regret it. 😊✌🏽

An ungrateful experience. The place has a good outlook and the toilet is clean but the service sucks. I got there, ordered for non spicy pizza and got jalapeños on it. Not mentioning we got to wait for ages to get our food. Not great food by the way. Then the dessert I asked for didn't get to the table, I had to go and ask to the counter once and again until we got to leave, also asked for a box to get some rest overs and never get it. Asked two people, one said “not my job, hers” and the other one asked me to wait until she finishes serving drinks when it was the third time I get there to request the damn box. The place wasn't even full!! Quite empty to be honest. Need to remark how awful and slow the service is. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

It was really bad experience. It was totally below standard. I ordered breakfast for collection. I spent £15 on breakfast but when I ate I only able to ate 10% of the food and I bin all the remaining food. It tastes like 2 days old food. After eating i got diarrhoea and didn’t able to eat anything for 2 days. I will not recommend anyone to give it a try it’s not worth it.

Past an hour now and still waiting for my breakfast... The cafe is not busy at all.. Chai cha chai all the way!

This is a great place, I was looking for a desi breakfast for my partners birthday and I was worried about how good it would be as it is a chain but it was all excellent. Great service, the staff were very helpful and the chai was wonderful (I had three cups!). We had the shish roll and the nihari and both were great quality and a good portion. We will defintely be going back again soon.

Not living in the area we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and stumbled across this place. Lovely bright decor and nice seating plan we decided to go in and we’re so glad that we did. The food was amazing, tasty, plentiful and a really good price. Top marks all round, will definitely return when back in Middlesbrough.

We had found this place by accident and Oh my god - we ordered 4 dishes and each of them was delicious! It was meant to be brunch but turned into lunch…. Little gem - authentic Indian/pakistani cuisine, and you can’t go wrong with the prices!!! Definitely going back!

Nice looking place but the food was no where near as good as it should be. I expected to be given at least 7 - 9 halloumi fries, but was given only 5 which were all extremely oily and rubbery. The chai was ok but not at the standard a 'chai' shop should be serving. There was not enough seating in the establishment and the food took quite long to take. Most likely will not be revisiting.

Been twice, will be going again soon. Great authentic street food with some specials tastes, tangs and flavours but simply served. The guys there have a genuine interest and pride in the place.

It’s my self date day(30.10.2023) was starving after my shopping looked around found “My Karak Chai” in linthrope road Middlesbrough walked into the place without any expectation but I found the ambience is absolutely beautiful 😍 ordered aloo paratha karak chai and Karachi biryani food was delicious and amazing 🤩 felt really like Indian taste really enjoyed the spices flavour taste .Service was really great 👍 I do visit again I can recommend to taste the food .Thankyou

The decor is nice inside, and the staff are helpful. I ordered an apna breakfast consisting of a desi omlette, lentils and paratha.

Overall a good experience. Paratha and omlette with halwa puri was good. It's bit pricey though and no nearby parking

What a great find! The range of food on the menu offers something for anyone, our granddaughter was happy with her halloumi while we tried a couple of interesting streetfood items. I’ll especially mention the Tikka Masalla paratha wrap - inspired! Don’t expect bland, I still have the deep taste of the spices in my mouth a couple of hours later. Amazing. A copy of the menu on display on the window May bring more in, we had the flyer so could see we would be finding something interesting. Will be back for sure as there was so much more to try.
