My Karak Chai in Middlesbrough

It was really bad experience. It was totally below standard. I ordered breakfast for collection. I spent £15 on breakfast but when I ate I only able to ate 10% of the food and I bin all the remaining food. It tastes like 2 days old food. After eating i got diarrhoea and didn’t able to eat anything for 2 days. I will not recommend anyone to give it a try it’s not worth it.

Disappointing service and food.

I ordered twice from this place and it's an absolutely waste of money and time. They each time missed items and food quality was poor (perhaps the poorest ever). It a scam really. Never buy form them

Amazing chai taste, Though gol gappy portion is soo less but enjoy the environment and decor .

Nice and tidy decor. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Food very close to authentic. Had a great time with family who were visiting from USA. they loved it.

Had the best tikka masala roll ♥️ Filled with flavors. Staffs here are also very friendly specially lovely Lakhsmi 💕provide a really good customer service. Must recommend everyone…

The food was, the service was brilliantly fast and not too expensive either.

Food quality is better then others in town but service is very very slow even if you order a tea and snacks very slow service

This is a great place, I was looking for a desi breakfast for my partners birthday and I was worried about how good it would be as it is a chain but it was all excellent. Great service, the staff were very helpful and the chai was wonderful (I had three cups!). We had the shish roll and the nihari and both were great quality and a good portion. We will defintely be going back again soon.

Very good service, the girl from-the till was very nice! The chai and the donuts were fantastic! I had a chai that was recommended by the girl it was very very good!

Not living in the area we were looking for somewhere to have lunch and stumbled across this place. Lovely bright decor and nice seating plan we decided to go in and we’re so glad that we did. The food was amazing, tasty, plentiful and a really good price. Top marks all round, will definitely return when back in Middlesbrough.

Beautiful and cozy place for a desi breakfast, I ordered paratha and saag, it was delicious 🤤🤤 Also karak tea was good too. Gobi paratha was nice as well. Highly recommended!!

We had found this place by accident and Oh my god - we ordered 4 dishes and each of them was delicious! It was meant to be brunch but turned into lunch…. Little gem - authentic Indian/pakistani cuisine, and you can’t go wrong with the prices!!! Definitely going back!

Nice looking place but the food was no where near as good as it should be. I expected to be given at least 7 - 9 halloumi fries, but was given only 5 which were all extremely oily and rubbery. The chai was ok but not at the standard a 'chai' shop should be serving. There was not enough seating in the establishment and the food took quite long to take. Most likely will not be revisiting.

Been twice, will be going again soon. Great authentic street food with some specials tastes, tangs and flavours but simply served. The guys there have a genuine interest and pride in the place.

It’s my self date day(30.10.2023) was starving after my shopping looked around found “My Karak Chai” in linthrope road Middlesbrough walked into the place without any expectation but I found the ambience is absolutely beautiful 😍 ordered aloo paratha karak chai and Karachi biryani food was delicious and amazing 🤩 felt really like Indian taste really enjoyed the spices flavour taste .Service was really great 👍 I do visit again I can recommend to taste the food .Thankyou

In fact, I came to this store several times, and the treatment was very good, and everything was good about the food. I thank them for this beautiful treatment.

The decor is nice inside, and the staff are helpful. I ordered an apna breakfast consisting of a desi omlette, lentils and paratha.

Overall a good experience. Paratha and omlette with halwa puri was good. It's bit pricey though and no nearby parking

What a great find! The range of food on the menu offers something for anyone, our granddaughter was happy with her halloumi while we tried a couple of interesting streetfood items. I’ll especially mention the Tikka Masalla paratha wrap - inspired! Don’t expect bland, I still have the deep taste of the spices in my mouth a couple of hours later. Amazing. A copy of the menu on display on the window May bring more in, we had the flyer so could see we would be finding something interesting. Will be back for sure as there was so much more to try.

First and definitely won't be the last time coming here for food. Service was outstanding. We were given recommendations by the staff and they didn't disappoint, food was delicious and the Lassi and Karak Chai were amazing.

The food here is absolutely delicious and the service is friendly and fast. The staff are super lovely, always making us feel very welcome. The menu offers a good variety of food to choose from; for vegetarians in particular, there is a nice selection of dishes and if you’re on a budget, many of the prices are really decent. The decor is pretty, the place is very clean, and the vibe is chilled and relaxed. This is definitely one of my favourite places in Middlesbrough.

I love the way of food presentation and obviously food was fantastic and Chai is Chai which is signature of the shop. I prefer every one and best place for family and friends to chill or enjoy

Amazing Pakistani street food, we ordered basically everything vegetarian from the menu (of which there was plenty to choose from). The service was great, the server offered to pack up some food we didn’t finish and asked when we’d like our tea brought out. The prices were really reasonable and we will definitely be visiting again!

Amazing food and service.👍 Staff and owners are extremely knowledgeable and friendly.They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience and make great recommendations. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about,making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, and freshly prepared some italian classics and some twists.
