My Gourmet in Tameside

I’m really disappointed with my recent order from this place through Uber Eats. Not only was my order incomplete, but the quality of what was delivered was awful. First, the fries and drink were completely missing, which is unacceptable. On top of that, the pizza was all messed up— it was placed incorrectly, and the slices were stuck together. It felt like a rushed, careless delivery, and honestly, it was just a mess. I expected much better, especially after paying for everything. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

First time trying this place tonight I had a gourmet burger fries and a milkshake all excellent and really good price as well the staff were nice and friendly I highly recommend I will be coming back to try some of their menu they have some interesting stuff on that menu only thing missing was whipped cream on the milkshake they probably just didn't have any left but hopefully next time they do

The burgers are proper thick burgers, not the thin patties so you’re guaranteed to be full after a meal and they’re really nice. 9/10. Not enough cheese on the burgers otherwise I would give it 10/10.

Ordered via telephone 4.05pm, for collection to be told 20mins which is fine. 2 donor meat chips and salad easy order collected at 4.25 got home 0.7miles away for the food to be stone cold, no excuse for that at all, chips and donor meat was actually cold not even luke warm. Eaten from here many times, food always been great, orders sometimes messed up but nothing major. Totally disappointed and unfortunately don’t have faith that it wasn’t last nights food that hadn’t been reheated properly. Will not be returning

burger was awesome. mrs enjoyed the rice box. Only downside chips for a large was abit small. but apart from that really nice. will defo come back.

Ordered pizza with extra topping of lamb , comes with just a few pieces of lamb. No mince , no chillies hardly any peppers ! Who ever is making the food needs to be fired ! Dead food from this place

Donner wrap was replaced with a burger. There was no cheese when I paid extra for stuffed crust. Just an empty hole. Popcorn chicken was the nicest thing. But didn’t get much of it.

I love ordering from here, but they did forget my can this time around.

Absolutely vile!! This place is getting worse!! Ordered the chicken rice box came with minging soggy chips that taste like they’ve been there all week. Asked for all salad only came with lettuce which was brown!! Honestly disgusting. Chicken strips looks like they’ve been sat in the grill since 5am this morning. Used to order a lot but after this won’t order again.

I ordered food in February for collection, the money got taken from my bank but when I went to collect it the shutters were down. I rang them several times talked to the business next door and nobody was in at that point even though the website had already taken my money for the food! I rang back when they were eventually open and they said that they had an issue with their shutters and they’d process a refund within 3-5 business days. I have being ringing back every week and getting the same reply that the manager will sort it and I will get my refund. Nearly 3 months later and I still haven’t had a refund and they’ve not rang me back once it’s always me ringing them. Appalling customer service.

Even though food arrived a little late (understandable on a busy Saturday evening) the food was amazing, piping hot good quality ingredients best burger ive had in a very long time and will order again xx

The most vile Donna meet iv ever had nan was that dry when I threw it at the door it knocked it down Donna was that dry I give it a glass of water and it drank it I tried to give it the dog and when my dog went over to eat it she turned to and said I wouldn't feed that to the cat

Amazing place can be late at times but doesn't put us off buying from them the food is amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful always the same driver who's friendly no problems at all

10/10 as always. Best burgers about and chicken wings are 🔥 but wish they were abit bigger. Burgers are fresh and meat is top quality. A go to for me.

first few times ordered excellent unfortunately no consistency.

I ordered a general burger with salad and cheese and peri peri chips . However when I got the burger all I got was a burger in a bun. No salad and it looked like someone had place cheese and took it off , also there was no sauce either. Plus my peri peri chips where regular chips. Called the take away to explain, got no apology and got told that the delivery driver will call me back. Still waiting

Wow how on earth they can call those salt and pepper chips that they delivered. shocking. rang up so they could rectify but sounded like a child on the phone who seemed to not care I was unhappy just said contact just eat for a refund !! won't be ordering again

The chips were cold, there was no dressing on the wrap and the burger had tomato even though I asked for them to be removed. Not happy

Ordered Large Donner kebab, got some bits of donner and not even naan bread? Bread tasted like from supermarket. Also paid extra to get it large but couldn’t even eat this bread as I could use it as hammer. Mrs wanted some rice box thinking its just chicken nothing to worry as she is breastfeeding, turned out the rice and sauce is spicy which she couldn’t eat but nothing stated in menu regarding any spices in the ingredients. Really disappointed for the first time ordering some takeaway from this guys.

DONT EVER ORDER FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCAMMED. I had ordered food from these lot via foodhub and had cancelled it just 3 minutes after since I had no confirmation that they accepted my order. I placed an order to another place Just shortly after and once food arrived, it was from gourmet grill instead of the place I ordered from after them. Unknowing of this I paid for the food and once I realised it was from them, I called them and said that I had cancelled the order before and want a refund for the food returned back. They said they got my order as accepted but they would send someone to give my refund and collect the food. An hour goes by and no driver. I called them again and another person was speaking to me as if they couldn't do anything about it and tried to put the blame on me for cancelling the order. Essentially, I got scammed. They said they'll pass my contact details to the owner and I never got a call. If you want to get cheated on, have difficult customer service and not great tasting food, order here. Can't believe a takeaway like this have different people under management multiple times and can't fix it up. Honestly you're best off ordering from another place or not eating at all. Insulting and disgraceful, should've closed down entirely.

Chips were really chewy and the kids burger could have atleast had sauce or salad on it not just bread and dry chicken, both cans from both meals missing also , but son loved his milkshake and my peri burger was really nice not too spicy nice flavour so disappointed as could of been better if wasn’t for the chips and missing drinks

Absolute embarrassment of a restaurant. Had bay leaves left in my meal, nearly choked on some sort of pip off a fruit or whatever they put in there? “Large” chips wouldn’t have filled my 18 month old child with dwarfism. Only thing that was half decent was the wings which looked like they’d come off a pigeon cause they were miniature. Just absolutely dreadful, beef in the rice box was BLACK and rock solid. Horrific bit of food, should absolutely not have the rating it does, should be ashamed of

The donner meat was a level above the rest, with a spicy salsa sauce. the ultimate burger was insane, one of the best I've had. garlic bread with cheese was spot on, mini piri chicken fillets melted in your mouth. cheesy chips crispy and cheesy and the spicy rice was a great portion and nicely infused flavours. would highly recommend this place, it's our new go to takeaway place.

Order food, at 21:30 said it would be here at 22:01 and it didn’t show up

The best donner wrap I’ve ever had, great value. All my food was hot and fresh. Bbq wings did have a bit of a kick to them but I loved the taste. Cheap & cheerful and tasty! Thankyou will definitely be ordering again. :)

NOT HAPPY food was cold and burnt my chicken burger tasted like charcoal beef burger was disgusting absolutely vile my cookie dough was burnt and dry and the chips THE PERI PERI CHIPS weren't even PERI PERI don't even get me started on the fact they were all crispy Not happy one but I want my money back don't be fooled by the good reviews or the 4 star rating this place is horrendous it needs to get in order because im hinestly disgusted

I have used this take away a few times and its been ok but tonight food was cold and naan bread was hard like it had been stood around, they did text to say they was going to be late

I have to say this is the best place in Ashton! Everything on there menu is cooked to perfection. Especially the rice boxes, I’m obsessed! . Absolutely delicious. 10/10. The service is on point, the food is always fresh. You can tell they cut their salad fresh everyday. The meat is always tender and cooked well. The new owners have really made a success of this as I know the previous owners were awful! Great food, the lads are super friendly. Been going here for nearly 2 years now and I have had no complaints so far. Delivery can sometimes take a while but the food is 10/10 and that’s the main thing -it’s always piping hot. These lads work hard! Will always be back!!

DISGUSTING 😡 ordered plain chicken wings recieved hot a spicy ordered 1 large one medium peri fries and recieved 2 small chunky plain chips and ordered plain chicken fillet box got spicy chicken again and ordered only salad and garlic mayo on the kebab and again got spicy sauce and restaurant not answering there phone. WILL NEVER ORDER AGAIN.

Cheeseburger was filth tasted like cardboard. Chips were cooked in oil that needs changing. Not good, ate half other half binned. Place has changed ownership few times, was my first time here.

My hubby and his friend ordered here. They ordered at 7.30pm, 2 hours later still no food. I ordered my own food somewhere else at 9.30pm after being out and my order from different firm arrived before hubby and our friends. After several calls hubby and his friend finally got their food at 10.43pm. The food was nice, hot and liked but wait time was ridiculous

The food was descripted propperly it came spicy when it never said it be spicy and I am unable to eat spicy food , when I spoke to the people over the phone they laughed at me and spoke to me disgustingly

Food cold, barely any chicken in the meals

Went here on Friday to order for myself and my partner and her mum, was told 15 mins waited 45 mins, I had a burger which had an egg in it, can’t remember it’s name and cheesy chips, a peri rice box, bbq wings, wanted coleslaw and was told they’ve not long taken over and don’t do it anymore, a box of salad as they don’t do it separate, and chicken nuggets for the dog, £22.45 I was charged got given a bottle of tango because of the long wait, went back to eat it, no nuggets, food was cold, was told nuggets wasn’t ordered, we told them to replace the food as they said they’d warm it, got nuggets as an apology, got back and no cheesy chips, I wasn’t going back, managed to just about eat it as was just hungry in the end, was decent at all, and won’t be going back!!

I Ordered tandoori chicken and dinner on Nan with peri chips at 21.50 I had to call back at around 10.55 for an update as I live no more than 3 minute drive but still no food. They said they will be 10 mins as waiting on chips. Food arrived at 11.28, no peri salt, and no tandoori chicken, Nan bread was solid and all food was cold.

This was first time here. I got double cheese burger meal and rice box. What can I say ? I’ve been to many gourmet burger places in London but this place and by far I found this place is THE BEST in every aspect. Whether it’s food or service. Amazing quality of fresh food. Welcoming staff with friendly nature. I would definitely give this place 10/10 HANDS DOWN to the FOOD QUALITY AND SIZE OF PORTION. I couldn’t even finish the whole burger. Well done for fantastic experience.
