Myself and my wife have been going here for a long time always buying the sweets and also fish pakora as I am a pescatarian. Tonight we have been and I ordered my usual 2lb of fish pakora, he always warms the bag up for me and I leave and start eating. I walk outside take a bite and instantly know that its not fish. My wife runs back into the shop and asks are you sure this is fish? The man replies 100% definitely. We leave the shop start walking back to our car he runs out waves us down and realises he made a mistake it was chicken pakora. He calls us back for me to hand him my bag of warmed up chicken pakora with a piece I had half eaten and put it back on the tray with the other pieces of chicken pakora to resell all whilst handing me a batch of fish pakora. I've literally threw up as I left. Needless to say I will not be going there again and will be reporting this further. Absolute disgrace.

I would not describe Mushtaq as a restaurant, it is more like a sweet centre that does savoury food and has a few seats. I often pop in at lunchtime for a lamb or chicken sheek kebab - good value and always very tasty.

I have passed Mushtaq sweet centre and never actually gone in because of its poor hygiene rating. However, went there with my boys for a quick smaosa to take home. The place wasnt busy, yet i had to wait 20 minuites before i got served. Not only that, but boys had terrible stomach ache the next day.

Popped in today for lunch by chance and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was for the price that you paid. The chicken tikka wrap was amazing, and 50p cheaper than the direct competitor up the road - I will be visiting again that's for sure.

Yesterday, I was in the Wolverhampton City Centre and looking for a place to have lunch, when I stumbled upon this amazing place and saw something on offer that my Probation colleagues and I used to have for lunch at another similar place at another part of the city! I decided to try Mushtaq's for the masala fish on naan bread (freshly made) and was not disappointed at all. The person in the place, Sadiq, prepared the lunch for me. There were an amazing variety of mouth watering foods on display, I was tempted to try some but settled on the masala fish on naan bread! I also noticed the many wonderful variety of sweets, and was very pleasantly surprised to find one item, Jaum, for Diabetes sufferers, 10/10 for this! I got chatting with Sadiq and learned that he hailed from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. I asked him if he could cook the famous "machher jhol" Bengali fish curry, of course he could, I therefore asked him to cook a large portion for me, which he promised to do at a week's notice, I ordered a portion for next week, and need to call him 2 days before to remind him. If I have to write about the place in details, it would take me a week to do so, I therefore strongly recommend that people visit the place and decide for themselves. Sadiq told me that they had been open for the past 2 years, and I only discovered it yesterday, well as the saying goes, better late than never! I have messaged an old friend, with whom, I occasionally visit different eateries on a regular basis, that we must visit Mushtaq's soon. No regrets, just pure enjoyment of excellent Indian continent cuisine!

Birmingham food now available in Wolverhampton! However it would seem that the Wolverhampton branch is not in any way connected to the Birmingham Mushtaq's outlets (Confirmed with Mushtaq's Aston)

We have passed a couple of times recently and today we decided to have a look inside. Thank goodness we did, we had a mixed portion of sweets which were sublime, chicken pakora which were perfectly delicious, chicken tikka which I can only describe as amazing and a Katlama which is incredible and extremely flavourful! We also have the rassomalai for later which we were pleased to find! I would highly recommend to anyone and will eagerly be returning very soon!

This is my regular place for lunch, I use to visit Sachin's near by however just for change on friends advice I tried it and found to be very good. Fresh biryani is one of the specialties. Apart from that you can get avid verity of Indian deserts.

Happy Mushtaq have opened a branch in Wolverhampton. Popped in for Dhal and chappattis at weekend. Very good-so good back 2 days later for two takeaways and veg pakoras - generous portions at very reasonable price. Good selection of sweets too. Staff very pleasant. Gets my vote for good food on the go.

Great food and service, good prices, great choice,Inc Vegan. Just a little too noisy for me as I have bad hearing and it was hard to listen to friends above the crowd.

Absolutely fantastic service and delicious food. Used Kamal Sweet Center for pre- wedding catering. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed all the food commenting on how delicious it was. The chicken was a sure favourite and the fried paturay were soft and fresh. The service was outstanding and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this family run catering business. Update 10/9/24 - We have been regularly using Kamal Catering for all our functions and celebrations. They are an honest and genuine family business and deserve all the praise and recognition for their services.
