Some time after lunching at Simpsons in the Strand and tea at the Ritz, my wife and I were shopping in Edmonton Market and thought we would try somewhere on the site. We saw Munchiez and the menu and thought we would give it a go, without much expectation. How wrong can you be. True, it is a typical market café, but the food cooked to order on the premises in front of you was excellent, hot, tasty and a lot of it. The service is very good and the staff cheerful and helpful. The first time we went, we had fish and chips. The fish was perfectly cooked and the chips were healthily oiled and tasty. We were so impressed that we went again and were equally satisfied with what we had. It is a fact that we preferred eating at Muchiez to tea at the Ritz; it was good, wholesome food at an excellent price and well worth the money. If you happen to be in the area, give it a go like we did; I do not think that you will be disappointed..
