Munch Takeaway in Manchester

I got nice Chinos and lovely white shirts at Tesco Hyde Road...

PLEASE AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY I have been to this takeaway a number of times over a decade when there were no other alternatives every time they have failed miserably to produce food that is either fresh or hygienic. Their staff should be retrained on how to stay hygienic as they are always wiping sweat off their brow or handling cash then making your food without washing their hands. PLEASE AVOID

Unfortunately gone downhill a lot since the old guy sold. Milkshakes are overly watery and just taste like blended up cheap ice cream, donner meat tastes like what id imagine cat food to taste like its the weirdest donner meat ive ever tried and prices have gone crazy. Used to be our regular but not anymore

Absolutely disgusting Dry as a bone burger went at dinner time and is definitely warmed up food from the night before that they did not sell Rotten do not go here

not great. ordered chicken wings and doner kebab. i tried one and didnt like it, neither did my partner. and gave them to my brother. he woke up the next day projectile vomiting from food poisoning. wouldnt advise

The place was very quiet when I went. I ordered the lamb doner with salad and fries, it was okay, wasn't as hot as I'd expected it to be but I was in a hurry.

When I was trying ordered on phone phone is off or busy always I don't no why they taking not order on phone

Never buy from here. Bought 8 pound so called biriyani and what I got was rice, chicken, and a cup of oil. This needs boycotting... Destroying Manchester food culture...

Ordered online as it was displayed as open and the order and payment went through. Everything was fine for about 10-15 minutes so I proceeded to order groceries as well as I thought might as well kill two birds with one stone considering I have to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs to get anything in my apartment complex. They proceeded to cancel the order 15 minutes later with no explanation when it was already too late to cancel my groceries as well. Extremely irritating. They need better management and organisation.

Just an ordinary place . Prices are higher.

Stood around waiting 10 minutes at the desk to have my order taken. Then was told it would take 15. Then I came but the food actually took 50 minutes. I was the only person in the shop when I made my order. Should not have taken this long. Clearly prioritising online order. Everyone seems busy running around but yet I’m still waiting to for damn near an hour. Would not recommend.

Lots of choices, very nice staff, very busy

First time getting food from here.Had a cheeseburger with salad. Worst burger, I've ever had. Really salty and absolutely tasteless. Quite a few bits of gristle in it aswell. Won't ever be going back. Too nasty.

Food was so pathetic and totally waste of money, first time been there, had chicken donner on nan bread, naan bread was burnt on some places and undercooked on some places, donner was little in quantity and it was had and very thin , infact there was hardly meat, definitely wouldn't go ever or never refer to anyone, very very disappointed, was very hungry now regretting

Ordered doner kebab from here and it was cold and dry and tasted horrible . Never coming back again.

Ordered lamb sizzler the other night & enjoyed it so ordered it again tonight, what I got was the cheaper kebab at sizzler price, I've order from munch at least twice a week, I don't think they will be getting any more orders from me as I also pay for delivery & the drivers refuse to use stairs to 2nd floor (no lift) I have to go down and find them on the road,

Bakwas customer service they don’t know how to speak with customers

Would definitely recommend them my 8 year loves the food from here and we always get chicken wings meal.

These people are expert in making worst food. Total waste of money. Rubbish cold fried chicken dipped in oil. Frozen microwaved kebab. Left food on their table so they might learn a lesson. Staf rude. Stay away from this place if u wanna quality fresh tasty food.

The terrible food ... will never order again ...chicken dry doner is like rubber and customer service making people fool like cooking at direct heat means dry , seems to be unprofessional ,no food pasion only money makers mind...disappointment and waste of time

Waste of time and money even microwave ready meal way better than this dry and rubbery doner, management even make people fool like it is how it is to be, ridiculous answer, munch is disrespecting food, serving non standard old food to customers. Old meat mixed with too dry dark, thanks for making my evening bad, hope they improve and get some food passion instead of money passion only

Very bad service. The food tasted terrible and above all the guy over charged us for the food. They are displaying a menu on the board with prices but charging extra. When I challenged him he said those prices are old and the new prices are in a different menu. And the one particular guy were rude and arrogant

Ordered chicken doner naan and the portion was incredible 🤧 chicken strips and pizza was good for the price, milkshake tad bit overpriced. But overall good, will defo order the naan wrap again

Dirty! Avoid at all cost. I'm sure they serve the same chicken from the night before or the oil needs cleaning. The owner is tight aswell.

Ordered a burger and munch box tray (Donner wings and chips. Salad and sauce) Burger was dry. Not edible. The box was okay. The chips was the only thing that was decent. Price was not bad. But Donner meat was like rubber. The wings were not edible either. Dry and looked overage. Won’t be ordering again. The place has awesome potential.

Would leave zero stars if I could Bought a lamb donner balm and it tasted absolutely horrible cold dry and the meat had a lot of bone in it or god knows what it was and paid £3.30 a lot for something that didn’t taste nice I’m very annoyed I won’t be going back again 😡😡😡😡

The donner burger i got was disgusting and was like cardboard. Asked for spicy biriyani and we couldn't even eat it. The young guy who served us was good and is the only good thing about it

Ordered Lamb doner with naan, the guy at the reception was very pleasant, the quality of food is ok. £4.50 for a good portion of meat on naan is not bad. Restaurant is very filthy can't think of dining in, was difficult to wait in the restaurant while waiting for my order.

Always the Highlight when going to drop off or pick up my daughter from Uni...now shes finished i need an excuse for the 170 mile round trip.

Literally the best takeaway in Manchester. The staff are wonderful, they're always very pleasant and helpful. The food well what can i say? The food is incredible, literally I've not tasted traditional curries this good since i was living in Lahore for 2 years. The owner (I don't know his name) is such a lovely man, with a beautiful soul and a pillar in our local community. I'm going back to Lahore soon and it'll be the thing I'll miss the most about Manchester inshaAllah you do well and survive this horrendous crisis. Lots of love and peace in this hard time Jimmy

Food was not bad but customer service really needs some improvement...

I received a phone call that my food has arrived, someone shouting down the phone about how I need to come to him because he is outside. Long story short, he's at a completely different address. I walked with my walking stick to find out he lied about the adress he was at. Then I had to walk back with a bag of food and a walking stick. No free garlic bread. Fried chicken nothing special. They lost a customer quicker than they made one. Fried chicken restaurants are 10 to a penny. 1 star knocked off for lying, 1 star knocked off for shouting down the phone, 1 star knocked off for making a disabled person walk down the street and 1 star knocked off for false advertisement (no free garlic bread on orders over £15). That leaves 1 star... The hard truth is that this kind of service is what one receives when spoilt children work for the family business.

The staff doesn't really listen to any small request you make.

Not the best. Or the cleanest. Or the most popular. Does the job.......and sometimes it send you to the toilet 38 times in 4 hours. Go at own risk 😅

Tried this place for the first time and i would deffo recommend, food was fresh and the delivery wasn't too long.

Awful customer service. Walked in and stood at counter and staff blanked me as they kept walking past the counter back and forward. They were more concerned with a delivery order. A simple won't be a moment would have been something just blanked for 10 mins so walked out

The kebab cannot taste what meat in it. The rice smells like leftover not fresh. It’s the worst burger I have ever had. Rubbish food.

I found a dead fly nestled underneath all of my chips. I only found this after eating all of the chips, after I found the dead fly I vomited all the food back up and took the burger back to show them, as well as a picture, for a refund. They refused me only for me to threaten reporting them to the appropriate agency, at which point they refunded me and didn’t apologise. Terrible hygiene and terrible customer service to match. AVOID.

Order from here all the time, always 10 mins early, curries are spot on with the spice, delivery drivers are legends and it’s fairly cheap.

I have purchased a meal this evening for dinner and it contained a burnt food. The the other parts of the meal where good but the sizzler was burnt and when I phoned up regarding this they tried to say it wasn’t burnt. After putting me through to 3 different people finally the last one that I had communicated with better told me I was lying! Disgraceful customer service! I won’t be returning
