Munch Cafe in South Kesteven

I looked at the reviews for munch before going to the cafe so I entered with high expectations and was met with an unpleasant atmosphere upon arrival then ordered our food none the less and the bill came to £15 for just one sandwich and wrap and 2 pepsi max the portions where extremely small for the price and the bacon and sausage where as if they had been sat under a heat lamp for several hours definitely would not recommend.

We had some vegiteranian and vegan sandwiches made for the afternoon before the wedding. They were very well liked by the wedding Party. It was a last minute order and they very accommodating made them on time.

Lovely bacon, sausage & egg sandwich. Served on seeded brown bread. Overall the experience was comfortable and quick.

I highly recommend Munch as a really nice/pleasant place to eat I'm always in there the food is really Yummy with the menu on a big board on the main wall so it's clear to see for everyone and there's so much to choose from there's also warm-cold drinks , it's been certified for it's cleanliness as it's always clean & tidy the owners are really nice /pleasant & easy to talk to the whole atmosphere is so friendly so it's a good place to come with the family & friends , you can sit outside weather permitting or u can sit inside if u choose to stay inside u can look out of the big window watching the world go by while your enjoying yr meal with a nice coffee/tea to wash it down also u can phone your orders in and the main thing is everything is fresh so u can be confident when ordering and unlike most cafes burgers etc are less greasy >> so if u are in town on the high street Opposite the guildhall come try munch where good food/drink is Guaranteed - my fav is the beef baps M.M.M - if u know me or see me come say hi..........

I highly recommend Munch I'm always in there the food is really nice & the same with coffee/tea with a big menu to choose from its really clean ( certified for it's Cleanliness & the atmosphere is really friendly & relaxing you can either sit in the window watching the world go by or sit outside weather permitting & the owners are always pleasant/easy to talk to - The burgers are really yummy with a good choice to choose from & unlike some places they are less greasy & I really like the beef baps ,,altogether a good choice of everything >>>so if you are in town & want somewhere nice/pleasant & clean to eat also meet friends come to Munch............

Popped in here for the first time on Tuesday on my lunch break. Lady behind the counter was nice and friendly, didn’t have to wait long for the food. I had a tuna and cheese panini which was nice. Plenty of food to choose from. Will definitely be my regular go to on my lunch break in future.

Stopped for drinks on a hot day. Very nice Ice coffee. Good social distancing arrangements. Seats outside and in.

Am sure everything is great but just a bit shocked that you can charge £1 per sausage as I ordered just 2 sausages for my little one and was still charged £2!!! bit steep maybe re think that one

Munch on Grantham High Street is a fantastic café to eat-meet friends/family & have something to eat washed down with a hot/cold drink while you can sit in or out & watch the world go by lol , opposite is the taxi rank with a bus stop close by so everything nearby, the service is excellent you always get greeted with a smile & it's a friendly atmosphere so you always feel welcome lots of people who work nearby can order thier food/drink to take out....so don't Just take my word come to Munch & enJoy , lots of people keep going back including me & the food is really tasty so give it a try also if you need help carrying drinks that.s no problem & they bring your food when it's ready>>>so enJoy

Stopped here for an early lunch. There is an extensive menu, with some vege options. Chilli baked potatoes and a mug of tea - cracking. Came with a good mixed salad. Regulars coming in for their “usual”, which sounds like a recommendation. Seating for 12.

Absolutely spot on - good portion sizes, outstanding quality and at a reasonable price too. Can't fault it, will definitely visit again. Coffee is top-notch as well.

If you can't find anything to like on the menu at Munch something is wrong. For a small eatery, the menu is impressive. There are loads of sandwiches, burritos, and burgers to choose from. I opted for the Swiss burger, which featured cheese and bacon. Very tasty. And the fries that came on the side were fantastic. Plus, the prices are beyond reasonable. I'll be back.

A very small and underrated cafe on the High Street. There is limited seating but they do offer takeaway. The menu is extensive and includes baked potatoes, burgers, wraps, panini's and more. The food is freshly made to order and delivered promptly. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit you will not be disappointed!

good place to meet friends or family & have something to eat/drink at the same time, friendly polite staff always service with a smile -always very clean & tidy with a 5star rating to prove it with nice food/drinks also good value - so highly recommend this café I should know its my local ,,there's also no trouble so make this somewhere to visit & enjoy & when the sun is shining outdoor seating is also included..........

Popped in again for a quick lunch. Love the takeaway lunch boxes with rice, chicken and salad. Can't recommend this place enough!

It's a tiny place where you can get good quality hot food for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. Lovely place.

Visiting family and came across this lovely family run Cafe with great food and prices. The wraps were freshly made to order and tasted amazing. There is a good extensive menu and great coffee/tea. Good seating area. It's located opposite the Town Hall.

Munch is one of my favourite places for lunch! I would recommend the Mexican Chicken Wrap meal deal! Friendly, quick service! X

Great cafe, great service and great food. I am a regular and wouldn't change that. For those who have not been, it is a must!

Only been in here for a passing hot drink during the Gravity Fields Festival, but the hot chocolate was excellent, and very welcome :)

Love the burritos -- the rice is amazing! I Definitely recommend pulled pork or spicy beef burritos.

Lovely family run business. They have the best coffe in Grantham. Going to this coffe shop for several years now and no matter where I would go I am always comming back. The owners are very polite and always keen to talk with you. The food is freshly prepared and it is delicious.

Had lunch here on saturday afternoon- turned out to be best meal I've had in ages! The burgers are delicious and the owners are lovely.

Visited Grantham for the weekend to attend a friend's party. This café is directly opposite the Guildhall and gardens. Great menu eat in or takeaway - fresh food and great value for money. Best of all - the proprietors - what a smashing couple - made us very welcome and helped with directions and info. All in all, so good, we went back the next day! Thank you.

Food not great!! delivery takes hours. And they forgot something we paid for on two occasions. Won't be using again.

I recently stopped off at Munch for a bite to eat and a coffee after having a meeting in town. I had the southern fried chicken and cheese panini which was delicious! The staff were very polite and helpful, I will definitely visit Munch again!!

I was passing through Grantham and spotted this nice place opposite the green. So decided to pop in for a coffee and some lunch. The coffee was excellent and the burrito I had was delicious. Really great value for money too and the staff were friendly and very helpful!

I was driving down the A1 from Yorkshire to East Anglia and pulled into Grantham for a break. This is a very smart and cosy cafe looking over towards the Guildhall. It had an impressive range of snacks and deals too- obviously popular with people (locals and workers coming into get a lunch.) Highly recommended and something different to the chain cafes.

highly recommened, the food is all fresh and tasty also the burgers are really nice & non fatty like some places and all sandwiches are made from scratch & the Jacket potatoes are done to perfection and it's a lovely coffee or tea also does all cold drinks, and the staff are so friendly - so go in for a great meal or drink & a smile..............5 stars from me

I have always liked Munch from the day it opened. It's a very pleasant little Café with friendly staff and a great array of snack food. I find it a much better place than the big name coffee shops as Munch gives you a personal touch. Sit outside and ponder Isaac Newton's Statue and the view of the town hall.

Nice option for a quick bite to eat. The sandwiches are good and not to much to error on with cheese and meat!

Fresh and tasty. The wraps are amazing and made freshly in front of me. plus the burgers are internationally delicious. highly recommend Munch. Even the coffee is worth a trip.

Kind staff and good coffee in high quality - better than Costa around the corner... This place just need bigger space to be able to serve more customers. Absolutely recommending, specially if you'd like to have a quality coffee.

This is a wonderful little cafe on Grantham high street. Large selection of panni's, sandwiches, wraps, baked potatos and amazing burger and chips!! and definately not overpriced. Run by husband and wife team who are friendly and welcoming. Give it a visit it won't disappoint.

Love going here for food especially the marinated chicken wrap which is so tasty (wish I knew what it was marinated in) food is very well priced. Pay around £4.50-5 for wrap chips and a drink.

Just called today to have a drink and a snack as there are chairs outside after we sat down we where told that they could not serve use because we had a dog and the council did not allow this or was it because the dog was a 8 year old rottie????? Will speak to the council later to ask why so if you have a dog avoid the munch cafe !

Someone suggested Munch to me recently as we were talking about local businesses over chain stores. The staff were quick and friendly, the coffee was good. The sandwich was really fresh and tasty; I had chicken salad. It was also very reasonably priced, I will definitely visit again.
