Mumtaz Indian Takeaway in Highland

Worst Indian takeaway ever. Everything was swimming in oil. So much oil that we had to bleach where the bag was on the table. Nan bread was cold and rubbery. Will NEVER order from here again.

Awful. Asked for 2 small sausage suppers and received 2 smoke sausage ones. Chips dryer than the Sahara desert and tasted nothing but oil. Dreadful

Went in to order a large portion of chips to go with a family dinner. No conversation or greeting from the person working there. No atmosphere and not very friendly. Waited 15mins for a £5 family size portion of chips. I don't mind waiting for fresh food so this was ok. Couldn't believe it when I received the smallest portion of chips. This looked to me like a standard size portion which I'd expect when ordering any meal with chips, and certainly nowhere near worth £5! Absolute ripoff. I won't be hurrying back that's for sure.

Disappointed with our take out which was unusual. Normally we go for the Indian food from here which is always really good. This time we decided to have a chippy take out. I had fish which was greatly under cooked, similarly my other half had king rib which was genuinely almost raw. The chips were not all hot but were plentiful. We will still go for the odd Indian take out from Mumtaz but that's the last time I'll order a chippy from here.

Very disappointed tonight, it’s bad enough that it it cooked to order, then to find when you get home that they cooked a chicken nugget supper instead of haggis super. Never going back 😖😖😖🤬🤬🤬🤬

Chips are sooooo good. I see this more of a chip shop than I do an Indian, everything freshly cooked to order.

Well well well. This hidden little gem has some of the best pizzas in town. Not many places do a "good" pizza anymore but this is in my top faves now. 😁

The quality and freshness of the food were amazing. I would highly recommend Mumtaz. Swift ordering followed by speedy delivery and excellent food made for a very enjoyable eating experience. Will definitely be eating from Mumtaz again.

A great place to eat. The staff are friendly, and their vindaloos are amazing.

A great takeaway that serves Indian, pizzas, fish and chips and burgers. Veggie burgers also an option here. Good for groups that can't agree what type of takeaway to get.

Kristy's is name change, Mumtaz Fast Food.l had an excellent garlic chicken, plenty and tasty. My wife had fish and chips, which looked good and I was assured by her tasted great.
