Mulberry, Conwy Marina in Conwy

I have visited the Mulberry Pub for more than 20 years. I went back on 5th December 2024 at 1 PM. The food served is very expensive even for basic lunch like soup and ceasar salad I had this time. The service today was unaceptable. I went to the toilet, leaving my coat on very visible on a chair at my table, only to see on my return to my table that the young waitress there had already cleared my table and table my drinks beer and drink that I still had there! She said she had not seen my coat on the chair. She brought me another glass of water but not another beer! I have never been treated so badly in this pub or any pub, and I shall not return. This sort of service is utterly unacceptable. I paid for a beer but was allowed to drink only half of it.

Average pub grub in a better than average venue. Not poor food, just not great.

My wife and I visited the Mulberry last week and we were impressed that we could actually smell food as we walked through the door and we decided to have lunch. After posting a semi negative review last year about the quality of the food last year, I feel that it is only right that I should compliment you on the quality of the food and service on our recent visit, well done on a vast improvement.

Overall very nice place and views, clean and welcoming, the food was the big dissapontment, I had the fish and chips, fish was not crispy and wet and soggy on bottom, there was no flavour in the batter and the fish tasted rather strange, very disappointed for the 17 quid price tag. I would go back for a drink but not for the food.

We arrived at 3pm after visiting Snowdon and the staff were lovely and friendly and helpful and helpful and very professional food was fantastic.we will definitely be back we got the chippy Tuesday haddock and big chunky chips mushy peas and tartar sauce delicious and it's only £20 both two people.

Had a meal at the Mullberry tonight and the food was great if a bit hot for me, we were served by Georgia who was amazing, she was very friendly and efficient. Will be back

We had a lovely time here for our Grandsons christening. The service and food were amazing, in particular the young gentleman who was serving in the function room bar called Shay was very helpful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend The Mulberry for a visit and to hold any functions.

Lovely for a drink and sit and look at all the boats in the harbour.

Sea-adjacent, food orientated pub that is dog friendly. Lovely setting and very helpful staff. We only wanted a child's portion of scampi and a side of fries and they were happy to accommodate. Food and drinks were excellent.

Really nice venue with good, comforting food and a great vibe. Hats off to the manager on Saturday night - forgot to get his name - who was happy getting stuck in with his team running food, clearing tables and checking on guests. Had a nice conversation with myself and my partner about the brand and gave us recommendations on their amazing Sticky Toffee Pudding. Would highly recommend to anyone in North Wales, truly worth the trip.

A lovely pub, always clean and well kept.

We visited several times during our visit to Conwy during the October half term. Generally the food was very good and the service was very friendly & efficient. We also attended the Halloween 🎃 Celebrations tonight with our family. The staff worked very hard to create a fabulous atmosphere for everyone attending. The dj was great fun. Well done ! 🤩

Never in my life have I seen chargrilled chicken wings on a menu. When they were served to us they had not even seen a char grill!!! Otherwise they would have been charred!! Instead they were anaemic, boiled, grey looking chicken wings. The 2 portions were in edible and sent back to the kitchen requesting they be deep fried. The waitress returned to say "they won't do that!!!" So they refunded the items rather than fixing the problem. The main courses were over priced and a poor portion for the cost. When you eat out you expect it to be better quality and if a higher standard to that whic we experience at home. Its a treat. We spent a lot of money to be very very underwhelmed. The 30ft long bar had just one service poin, so people are forced to line up across the bar and out of the door. THIS IS NOT HOSPITALITY!! Bars are designed to be long to AVOID line ups!!! This is a beautiful property, bursting with potential in a great location. But the F &B quality, portion sizes, service and production needs a massive shake up! Very disappointing as we visit this area regularly. So if you want to eat, you have to eat here.

I truly enjoyed my experience. They have food for every group, vegans, halal, gluten free, etc. My kids enjoyed the play area included inside. There was one issue though, my food came a bit cold, so I told a member of staff and they sorted it in just under 10mins. I also got a discount due to my issue.

Have a pint of Pitch, it's a good talking point with people who like Guinness. Good food, a mite pricey for my taste, but a great setting and view on a sunny day to justify that.

It's one of the most nice decorated pub restaurants with nice food and drinks. Only breakfast don't have too many options, only toast and some bacon sandwiches. Outdoor tables in front of Marine is the bestvplace to sit in a sunny day, it's one of my regular place now when it's sunny.

A lovely spot to eat, drink, and relax. The view is fantastic, offering a great backdrop for a chilled experience. It's also dog-friendly, which is a big plus if you're out with your furry friend. The atmosphere is laid-back, perfect for spending a leisurely afternoon.

I am very happy with our experience at this restaurant, the food was amazing for the price, the bathrooms and the whole restaurant was very clean and the staff were very helpful and happy. The menu for our dog was also great and the food for her was very healthy. I extremely recommend this restaurant to anyone thinking to go. :)

We ordered the mushroom soup When it arrived it was cold so went inside to be told to wait there was a queue Eventually a gentleman came and took the soup back offered us tea or coffee whilst they brought some more which wasn't hot either

Restaurant was really nice and cosy, had real good vibe on a rainy night. Other customers weren't too rowdy with it being a Saturday night. Food tasted amazing and pricing not too bad.

The marina is lovely. The boat yard, shops and pub all look clean tidy and well presented. There were a few people outside the pub and the food looked good. I only stopped for a bike ride rest here like I always do. It's so quiet and clean with great views of the marina.

Very impressed with the meal and the service, the staff were extremely efficient. The toilets were immaculate. Will definitely return as we do live quite nearby.

The kitchen is very well organised. Food is quick and very good. Front of house is confusing and disorganised. I had to run around trying to get a table and drinks and each member of staff had a different story so service was poor. This is not a low cost experience so I would expect more... No doubt individuals tried there best but clearly a lack of management. Overall it's a lovely venue

Went to the mulberry while staying in conwy it was recommended by my niece who lives locally it lived up to expectations as we were looked after by Amy who tended all are needs very nice establishment with excellent menu and drinks and of course the lovely amy

We called in for a drink on Saturday. It was busy but the score reflects the lack of interest from the staff to get people served. There were lots of staff milling about and those behind the bar seemed to simply be going through the motions.

Amazing food amazing beers but we were all disappointed when the waitresses dropped off our food and told us the cutlery was inside, we get that you are trying to keep costs low by doing self service but at least bring cutlery with the food… without this we would have given 5*. Great for dogs too

The food here was so much better than expected! Extensive menu with something for everyone. Very affordable too. Highly recommend. We did wait 40 minutes for our main meal but it was worth it!

Great staff lovely atmosphere but the chips were awful but due to time restrictions couldn't,t send them back.

Called in at lunch and because the dog area was full we were asked to sit upstairs , we duly obliged and enjoyed our lunch. However when we returned this evening with friends again the 5 tables downstairs were occupied, I asked could we go upstairs again and was told a rather flat “ No , if over there is full you can sit outside” which in the summer we would of but it was pouring down with rain !!! So we left and sadly embarrassing for our guest whom are up from London to visit us who live in Conwy.

Gave this place a try today as I was looking for somewhere new to take my Sister and my friend. We all agreed that this is a great place for an evening meal (we went on a Sunday). My sister had the scampi and chips, my friend had the meat feast pizza with the extra spicy add-on, and I had the classic burger. The chips were cooked to perfection and were delicious, the scampi was crisp and full of flavour and the pizza defeated my friend (and when they say the add-on is spicy, they really mean it). The portion size was perfect and (unusually for us) we had room for dessert which consisted of a Churro sharing platter (beautifully hot and crisp) and the Eton Mess which was large and just as delicious. It was nice to find somewhere where we didn't need to book a table, but could just turn up. This place has a lot of capacity for diners and drinkers alike, both inside and outside, and we were afforded a stunning view of the marina and all the boats. This place will definitely be one of out go to dining spots for the future.

Tasty food prepared and served by wonderful staff.

We stopped here for drinks whilst exploring the local area around the marina. There was a selection of tables free outside in the sun, and we were able to keep an eye on our grandson who played on the climbing frame shaped like a ship. We didn't eat so I can't comment on the quality of the food, but others who ordered whilst we were there got their meals quickly.

Nice pub, great location overlooking the Marina. Food came very quickly and was very tasty. Only negative is that no cutlery or napkins are brought with the food outside and additional condiments you have to leave your food on the table to get the condiments and when you do the paper sachets were difficult to open. Good food, good ambience, shame to let it down by this easy to fix issue.

Sitting at the marina basking in the sun, was everyone’s thoughts yesterday.Great customer service, dog friendly outside and designated area inside. Two starters and a few drinks, food was excellent and great sized portions. Crew ( staff) did amazing, was great to see so many Crew “on board” they collected empty glasses swiftly and kept an eye on everything outside, so tables were kept tidy and promptly ready for new customers. Bar was managed well and people queued which was a bonus, made it much more manageable and allowed the service to run quicker. All in all a great afternoon out. Well done Mulberry Team for all your hard work yesterday on such a beautiful, busy sunny Sunday. Thank you for your team’s politeness and smiles. Excellent customer service!

Great pub! Stopped off with a big group en route to Anglesey for a holiday. Food was delicious and quick, loads of great beers on tap and the staff we're fantastic.

Nice pub by the pier. Great for a quick lunch or an afternoon tea if the weather is good. The loaded fries taste quite good 👍

Party of six served promptly with a polite and professional service on a busy Saturday afternoon.The food was good pub fare with a varied menu. Excellent location in Conwy harbour and easily found off the A55 expressway. We all highly recommend the Mulberry.

Great atmosphere, tasty food. A nicer gluten-free bread, sourdough type perhaps, would be yummy, and lactose free butter would be very much appreciated.
