Terrible service. Waited in a queue for the member of staff behind the till to walk off after serving the customer in front. So I join the other queue for the same member of staff to come back and literally avoid all eye contact and “pretend to be busy”. To make matters worse she serves someone who wasn’t even in the queue when questioned what she was doing. Why bother working if you can’t be bothered to do your job. I can see why M&S will probably go the same way as Woolworths as it is clearly only used by a certain generation. I ended leaving and going to costa for a far better service and coffee.

Yesterday, I visited the Marks & Spencer Café in Longbridge to pass some time before doing my shopping. I arrived around lunchtime and quickly joined the queue. I was promptly served and given detailed information about the dishes I was unfamiliar with. As a starter, I chose a dish that was truly spectacular, featuring a delightful variety of cheeses and cured meats, as well as deliciously prepared bread, similar to pizza or piadina. For my main course, I opted for the full breakfast, which was absolutely exquisite. The meal, including the espresso I enjoyed after lunch, was superb. The atmosphere on the terrace was very pleasant, with a bit of sunshine adding to the experience. Although the view is not particularly remarkable, the overall ambiance is very relaxing. The staff members contribute significantly to the enjoyable experience with their attentiveness and precision. Overall, it's definitely a great spot to enjoy a lunch break, a quick coffee, or a relaxing pause during shopping or while exploring the area.

I LOVE this cafe. It’s not a high class, swanky bistro but the food is good quality/always served so quickly and hot, prices are very reasonable, but best of all the staff are amazing - especially a lady called Sue Press who ends up having to serve me at the end of her shift on a regular basis. Sue is ALWAYS so happy and content in her work, she goes above and beyond to prep any drink exactly as you prefer and she’s never makes me feel like the inconvenience that I must be turning up two minutes before closing! Protect Sue and the M&S longbridge at all costs! A gem.

M&S Longbridge are great! I went on the 4/4/2024 and all the staff were fab! Sally and her team are so friendly and accommodating. The drinks were lovely too!

The wait to be pay for food is dreadful. Staff seem drained and unhappy. Three till areas, only two are used. It is very expensive. M&S no longer allow you to purchase caked and eat them in there cafe. Each till area, needs two staff, one serving the customer and one making coffee. Tables are covered with used trays of cups and wrappers. Awful place, avoid if possible.

I will NEVER get over the best cookie I've ever had in my life here!!! I dream about their Belgian chocolate macadamia nut cookies 🍪🤤🤤🤤 So far no luck finding them in any other branch 💔 PLEASE PACKAGE IT AND MAKE IT AVAILABLE ONLINE! As for the place itself, it could use to be a little cleaner, leftover food tends to sit on the table for too long before getting cleared

I usually come here every Saturday and have a jacket with cheese in a separate bowl today I asked for the same thing and they gave me it but they put the cheese on the same bowl which annoyed me because I didn’t like it . The service was great it came quickly . But it was dirty with crumbs on the floor and some of the tables still had food on for about 10 minutes after I arrived please sort this out because I have had bad experiences for 2 weeks now t

The same person taking orders is also making hot drinks. Queueing for ages. Tables were left uncleared for so long. Don't recommend.

Was very disappointed with my food I had a full breakfast and a side of fries. I will never eat here again Bland taste/ bacon was fatty no bacon /beans flavourless / sausages were clearly overcooked worst breakfast ever. I am really shocked as this is an M&S cafe very disappointed never tasted such drivell

I was beyond disappointed by the chips myself and my grandaughter were served. For £3.00 per portion we were served limp cold thin fries the portion was a joke for the price there were about 15 chips. I honestly think this is a disgrace as well as a rip off.

Popped in for quick bite to eat lunchtime. We each had a chicken salad roll, bread was very dry, no butter just a bit of mayo. One of the rolls had 2 ends of a tomato in it and 2 limp salad leaves. Worse lunch we've had in an M& S. Tables and floor dirty..Won't go again until it improves.

Upstairs of M&S Longbridge, great for a cuppa and warm bite, good number of tables including elevated outdoor seats, friendly service, free parking for up to 3 hours.

Service not good at all. Staff dont seem to know what they are doing, who is working or where anything is. No saucers with cups either. Very shoddy

Came here with my 2 daughters for coffee n cake but found only 2 choices of cake nothing in childrens section , all tables that were empty were covered in plates, cups, crumbs n just general mess. All outside was the same , the station with cutlery, sauces etc had dirty tissues, crumbs, empty sachets etc and just overall felt grubby . This has happened on 3 occasions and has put me off returning !!

Today I visited the M&S Cafe the lady from bar Tema can't even make a cappuccino this is basic hot drink she gave me watery milk.No one comes to collect the glasses from tables and everywhere is such a messy.
