I can’t describe the extent of my happiness when I entered this shop. The sweets were so beautiful, and when I tasted them, they were absolutely amazing—an incredible flavor. The packaging was so perfect that I didn’t even want to open it. I felt like I just wanted to keep it as a decoration.

Tuve una experiencia increíblemente decepcionante en esta tienda recientemente. Inicialmente, mi primera visita esa noche fue agradable — el personal era acogedor, e incluso me ofrecieron un dulce como gesto de hospitalidad. Sin embargo, cuando regresé un poco más tarde para hacer un pedido adicional, me encontré con un marcado contraste de actitud cuando el propietario manejó mi solicitud. Me pidieron que saliera de la tienda y esperara fuera durante 10 minutos, a pesar de que estaba lloviendo intensamente. Cuando señalé la lluvia, el dueño me sugirió despectivamente que esperara en la parte trasera de la tienda, entregando esta sugerencia en un tono arrogante y grosero. Naturalmente, me quedé sorprendido, ya que ningún cliente merece ser tratado de esta manera. Cuando expresé mi decepción con su comportamiento, me sorprendió ser acusado de racismo por cuestionar su actitud. Como musulmán que soy, siempre he apoyado la causa palestina y no respeto más que a su pueblo. Mi crítica fue enteramente sobre su conducta grosera y poco profesional, no sobre sus antecedentes. Utilizar una cuestión tan grave como escudo para evitar la rendición de cuentas no sólo es injustificado sino también ofensivo. Es particularmente frustrante porque mi experiencia inicial en esta tienda fue muy positiva. La inconsistencia en el tratamiento y la negativa a aceptar cualquier retroalimentación hablan mucho sobre la actitud de la dirección. Aunque apoyo de todo corazón el trato justo y acogedor de todas las personas, el comportamiento del propietario no refleja estos valores. No recomendaría este lugar, ya que el enfoque despectivo y confrontativo del propietario socava la reputación positiva que podrían tener con su comida o servicio inicial. El respeto y la profesionalidad no son negociables, y esta tienda lamentablemente se quedó muy corta.

I recently visited this kunafa shop in Manchester with my wife, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. After placing our order, the owner rudely asked us to leave the shop and come back in 10 minutes, despite the fact that it was raining heavily outside. It was evident he could see the weather conditions, yet he showed no concern or basic courtesy. When I pointed out the rain and expressed my discomfort, he sarcastically offered that we could wait in the back of the shop, but his tone was dismissive and arrogant. When I tried to explain that such behavior was at odds with the usual welcoming attitude I’ve encountered across the UK, his response was shockingly unapologetic. He claimed it was because I “couldn’t accept” their behavior. As someone who has been in the UK for quite some time, I’ve always appreciated the respectful and kind customer service here, but this interaction stood out as an unfortunate exception. This shop’s management should seriously reconsider how they treat their customers if they wish to foster a welcoming environment. I would not recommend this place, not because of the food, but because no one should have to endure such unnecessary hostility and disrespect. ===================== As i’m not allowed to respond to your reply on this review, i’m adding it here. I find it deeply troubling that instead of addressing the legitimate concerns I raised about your behavior, you have chosen to deflect criticism by accusing me of racism. My issue was solely with the disrespectful and arrogant manner in which you treated me and my family. Visited this shop with my brother and had the misfortune of dealing with the owner. His behavior was shockingly rude and unprofessional from the start. When we calmly pointed out his poor attitude, he escalated the situation by coming to the front in an aggressive manner, as if he intended to physically confront us. This level of aggression and lack of basic decency is completely unacceptable. It’s hard to believe this individual operates in a civil society with no regard for customer service or the standards of basic human interaction. His demeanor was hostile, and his attitude showed complete disregard for the principles of respect and professionalism. Avoid this place at all costs if you value being treated with dignity and respect. This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had.

Marvellous place for true Kunafa lovers … they make it in three sizes …. Small medium and large …. And two crust soft and crispy…. I love crispy ones Plus they have large variety of Arabic sweets and not to forget butter saturated desi ghee

Pricy but Worth it. They sell freshly baked cheese Kunafa and prepared cream kunafa along with a full variety of yummy, nutty and buttery Arabian and Turkish sweets called Baklawa. Cheese kunafa when consumed fresh from oven is amazing. Must taste for all with sweet tooth.

Not very sweet and delicious. Seemed a busy place with people just stopping by picking up this knafah which consists of a type of vermicelli, stringy cheese cooked/ fried in butter and garnished with pistachio then a load of syrup on top. People were staying a few minutes either to pick up or eat up and go as if it is drive through

We went to Mr. Knafah for the first time, and it was absolutely amazing! The flavours were so authentic it tasted exactly like the knafeh I remember from Syria. The texture was perfect crispy on the outside, soft and rich on the inside, with just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was great, adding to the whole experience. I’d 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a real taste of Syrian desserts.!

Best Kunafah in the UK! Kunafah made fresh in front of your eyes , they also have a very large selection of baklava pik n mix. The fridge has a large variety of international drinks!

Absolutely the best Kunafa I have ever had. Cannot get enough of it. Only downside is that they close at 11pm and don't have one in Bolton, so I have to travel to get my fix. 😩

I’ve tried to taste the knafah at this place several times on my previous visits to Manchester. This time we made sure time to come. Without fail it succeeded in reaching my expectations, I thoroughly enjoyed my knafah and tasty sweets. If you’ve not tried yet you are missing out.

Very welcoming staff. They will give you samples on arrival. But I was really curious about their best food item called The Knafa. Waited 20 minutes because I have been told they make it fresh at 1 pm. It looks amazing to be honest. But it tasted good not great. Not something I would be craving again to be honest.

This is the second Knafeh I love in England. The cheese was salty but not too much and it was quite sweet. It almost seemed like a perfected art and I assume it is always the same. The shop is full of baklawa and other sweets. I wish I could just kept shopping here. I will visit here again as I get a chance.

Quality is not good. Staff are not friendly. They have strict policy which makes no sense about buying from them and next door shop (owned by same people). You cannot buy and eat food next door and have their sweets at the same time. Unwelcoming, pricey, and quality of sweets is poor.

I recently had the pleasure of trying baklava for the first time last Saturday and found it to be quite delicious. I will certainly be returning soon to try the kunafa as well. The customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was very welcoming.

Was the first time we tasted the Knafah, thought it wasn’t quite the hype.. The cheese at the bottom was bland and it had hardened as we waited for it to cool down. Although we have tasted their baklavas and milk cake they are quite nice. Their customer service was pathetic, While we waited for our order inside the shop one of the workers asked us to wait outside the shop or to return after 10minutes. Thought this wasn’t polite at all!! Have been visiting this place now and then.. but won’t anymore.

Some food were good others weren’t. I liked the stuffed grape leaf dish. Meat pizza was also good. The food was served cold hence didn’t enjoy the taste. The service wasn’t that great.

Fantastic place selling all sorts of freshly made arabic sweets and pastries. The syrupy cheesy knafah is amazing.

I'd say this is the best place I've ever had Kunafa at and I've lived in the middle East for over 4 years. I always get it thin and extra crispy and it is absolutely delicious. Service is spot on and the hospitality of the guys inside is amazing as they are always offering tasters whilst we wait. Highly recommended.
