This food was absolutely disgusting Salt and pepper box. Was not edible would kill you with the amount of salt on it. Basically just poured a full tub of salt all over the food. It’s shocking total waste of money

I am a Chinese, please find another restaurant if you want to experience real Chinese food. I had a bad experience with this restaurant. I made an order with the restaurant for tomorrow night through WhatsApp, but the restaurant refused to return it, and was unwilling to confirm my order even after reading it. I couldn't wait for a reply until the next afternoon, so I had to cancel the order. When I replied that I wanted to cancel the order, the store was able to reply me in a short time, ignored my other messages, and replied coldly with "cancel".

As a vegan family we are very disappointed that Mr Wangs do not provide a vegan option in their menu. Bean curd or tofu options? Can't be difficult. We use other Chinese takeaways which is a shame as this is more local to me. Step into the modern world Mr Wang

Have ordered over twenty times from this takeaway and it is always gorgeous food, excellent service and prompt delivery.

I arrived 5pm on 01/01/21, a lovely lady took my order for banquet meal for 2 persons and kindly offered to give me a wave when the food was ready as i said that i would be sitting in my car while it was being prepared. 10 minutes later she kindly came outside in the cold and delivered the food to the passenger seat wearing her PPE. Food was gorgeous and freshly prepared, excellent quality and generous in portion size. I will definitely be returning. Well done.

Very poor value for money,spent over £17 and still wanted £1 delivery charge when quarter mile away...prices way too high for meals,won't order again,sorry Mr Wang,you are abusing covid takeaway

Since moving to Lancaster me and my flatmates have tried a couple of Chinese takeaways and this was the BEST!! Sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style was the best quality chicken I’ve tasted in years!! Not chewy in anyway whatsoever. Was ready extremely quickly, was hot and fresh and staff were very friendly. 100% recommend!!

We order regularly from Mr Wang. The food is always delivered by friendly staff and is always really hot, and delicious!

Saturdays have never been better with the ultimate delivery service. All very satisfied with his one to one service.

Decided to give MR Wang a try a couple of weeks back. I have to say its not on par with other local Chinese takeaways in the area. Average at best, chicken curry is very generic, S&P Chips are missing a kick. Prices are decent though and quick delivery. Will possibly try again in the future. 7.5 rating

Moved locally and after a disappointing chinese where we lived it was a breath of fresh air to find a great chinese. Can’t recommend enough! The salt and pepper chicken bites are amazing. Keep up the good work.

Me and my friends ALWAYS have this - their chicken balls are amazing, portion sizes fab and good deals. Very lucky to have them just down the road, they always have food ready within 5 mins of ordering for collection (when ordering in-store). Would definitely recommend!

I used to love eating here and haven't been for a couple of years. I finally went on my way home in between jobs as I didn't have time to cook tea. I ordered chicken chow mein with no veg and some prawn toast. When I got home the prawn toast was almost black it was so burnt and I could only manage a few pieces and the chow mein had so much onion and garlic in it I had to throw it away. I can't eat either of those things (one reason why I ask for no veg) and so was really disappointed. I never used to have that problem but I will certainly never go back.The young lad who served me was great though, very friendly!

This use to be our fav Chinese until we had it tonight. It was awful firstly there was some of our order missing then one of our dishes was half full. Rang the shop to tell them and they kept us waiting for ages until someone came on the phone. Told them about it and the phone went quite for ages decided to bring us our missing dish after ages on the phone. We got it stone cold and like rubber. We use this Chinese all the time but this has just put us right of now shame

King prawn curry with egg fried rice - onions almost raw, I like them crunchy but they were undercooked.. not a sign that any egg had gone near the fried rice! Fast delivery and curry taste was good, will try a different dish next time

Popped in for a takeaway this week while on holiday in the area. We are spoiled for decent takeaways at home and we have found it a hit and miss experience on holiday with our expectations. Happily Mr Wang’s was up to standard. Generous portions and decent quality. It won’t be the best you’ve ever had but I’ve had many worse.

I visited at a quite busy time (just before 6pm) on a Friday. The guy at the order till already seemed irritated and wasn't really welcoming. I ordered salt and pepper king prawns which were quite good. The batter light and crispy, prawns cooked perfectly and the seasoning was moderate to strong. I also had salt and pepper beef which was the opposite. Over cooked and slightly burned giving an acrid aftertaste. I had a hot and spicy (garlic and chilli?) mixed meat special that was made up of mostly vegetables in a mildly spicy but otherwise nondescript sauce, which were actually fine, but very little mixed meat and what there was of it seemed to be just chewy grizzly fatty bits. It was a huge disappointment. I had chips and boiled rice, both were average+.

We have been using yourselfs for the last 2 years for delivery to pr3 (forton) and your food has been excellent. We have just ordered a delivery tonight and your staff said you don’t deliver to our postcode! Really disappointed!!

Use this one quite often as it is close to home. In the past they got orders muddled up and we ended up going home with some one else's order or part order. They seem to have sorted this out now and are please to find what we have actually ordered on our return home. Food is always hot and tasty.

Good honest food. Always well cooked and hot. Fast service and efficient delivery. Usual pricing for a Chinese restaurant.

We order takeaway at least once a fortnight, especially when we've had a long day at work... we always call Mr Wangs, knowing we'll all enjoy it! Never disappointed by the quality of food and speed of delivery! The best Chinese delivery in town!!

Entradas mixtas de bonito, y bien caliente. La carne en la carne y pimientos en salsa de frijol negro era incomible, cada pieza era duro y gristly. En el lado positivo, cené en verde casi cruda pimientos y cebollas en salsa de alubias negras, que era mucho mejor para mi dieta ;-/. No obstante, no se utilicen este servicio entrega de nuevo. . .

Mr Wangs has recently become my go-to Chinese if we ever get one. Always consistently provide great food. Really affordable prices and all the food tastes fresh and also good portion sizes.

We have a takeaway about once a month and always use Mr Wang's. Good food quickly made but can get busy on Friday evenings. We tend to order over the phone and collect as we live nearby. Why go elsewhere.

Really enjoy the food from here and it has become my "go to" place when I order Chinese food.Portions sizes are good, it is good value and tastes great!Only ever had 1 mistake with my order and it was rectified without question!Excellent service!

I had a takeaway from here the other week and it was really good. For just over £16 we had two meals and a starter. Such good quality food.

We get a Chinese every weekend from here maybe more if we are feeling greedy. The meat spring tolls are so good and the salt and chilli pepper chicken is our fave. Always get good portions and the price is great too

Really nice food. Fresh authentic cooking. Eaten here a few times and it's always pretty spot on. A chilli and salt variety box would be a welcome addition to the menu though.

we have just moved to lancaster in the past few months and have trued numerous take aways since moving here, this chinese take away is the best by far, the food is delicious , service excellent, and reasonably priced, we will not be going no where else.

Ribs in Black bean sauce and chilli well worth trying as a starter before the chef special of Crispy chicken in wine and garlic.Well worth a visit or delivery.

Just ordered a delivery and went to pick it up when I got home I didn't have my curry sauce that I paid for! I ring them up and all they can offer me is 10% off! I can't eat half my order and all they can offer me is 10% off my next order! Now I'm sitting here with a box of salt and pepper chicken which isn't great either! I can't see myself returning in the near future

After trying 3 or 4 chineses in Lancaster, I found mr wang which is by far my favourite! The salt and chilli pepper shredded chicken is amazing! So is the chicken curry and chicken fried rice! The delivery is usually fast and the prices are reasonable!

If you stay in one of the many Hotels around Lancaster, You MUST try Mr Wangs takeaway.The food is always fresh and tasty. The portions are big and usually you will get a few Free items too. They also deliver which is ideal.I always get one on a wednesday to eat in my room while watching the footy.

Just had a delivery with only half of the order. Delivery driver telling me he will take money now and deliver rest straight away if I call and explain. So I call and lady on phone tells me that delivery driver is crazy and he is wrong and I won't get my money back and she is too busy to send someone out again. And that she has had a long day is why she got the order wrong! Absoloutley fuming!

We have been to Mr Wang' twice now. Each time has been excellent. There is plenty of choice and the food is gorgeous yum yum. We were recommended Mr Wang's by a friend and even though we live about 6 miles away and have a local Chinese we wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Give it a try :-)
