We have order take aways as a family from here for around 5 years, now and especially if friends are visiting, it's been fantastic and convenient to order a meal from 148. Last week, again we had family visiting for the summer and placed a sizeable order but were unfortunately somewhat disappointed with the complete lack of chicken content in the Chicken Chow Mein - between ourselves we joked that it was hunt the chicken and on this occasion, simply left it at that! On Sunday night, our guests has gone and we again decided to order from 148, on our menu we had included the Chicken Chow Mein but once again were very disappointed to find tiny strands of chicken, almost to the point of being non-existent. We called to explain that we were not happy and were pretty much told by the manager, that he had personally watched the Chef put the chicken into our Chow Mein personally. Rather than continue to argue, we politely requested an exchange and that they could collect the initial order as proof, there simply was no chicken... to which the manager response was to Go Fu?? Yourselves... Charming - i guess anyone can make a mistake but is this the way to treat your long-term, faithful customers.

Had a casual dinner with family. Most of the dishes were fine. The Singapore noodles were excellent. The roasted duck was a little dry as was reheated. All the other dishes were fine for a local Chinese. Would certainly dine there again.

Food is normally very good but their customer service is terrible. Had such a terrible experience with them after they got our order wrong. I called them just to flag the mistake but told them i wasn't asking them to change anything or give us anything as we were happy to eat what they sent in error but they absolutely would not accept that they were wrong and were incredibly rude. I will never order from them again.

Friendly, helpful very polite staff. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. Toilets very clean. A very pleasant evening spent at 148 Lordship Lane Chinese Restaurant !😀 we shall definitely return, thank you!👍🏽

Had a nice time with family. Only thing was I asked for coke with loads of ice and it seemed to be in limited supply, they then bought over a small container with another small serving.

Not the cheapest but the food is delicious. Very fresh and great flavours. Recommended the chicken satay, egg fried rice and sweet and sour prawns. Out of this world! Great for takeaway and dine in for special occasions.

Ordered chicken pad thai for the 1st time and previous experiences it’s never been spicy, on this occasion it was spicy and I called the restaurant to see if there was anything they can do and they said there wasn’t unless I payed. Really not happy about the customer service and the attitude, won’t be going back there again very disappointed

Had dinner here on 2nd March 18. Unglamorous local restaurant - doesn't look like much from the outside but the service is friendly and swift and the food excellent and very good value for money.

This is a regular. Salt chilli prawns are to die for! Simple, local restaurant and also deliver (cash only). You must try it.

We eat here regularly... great food, friendly cheerful service and nice ambience. To be recommended.

We normally order from Zin Oriental, but the food hasn't been so great there the last few times (plus last time I ordered, then fell asleep & they were knocking for ages, so they might be miffed with my address!!) so we ordered from Mr Liu - good call. Their dishes were all really tasty, fresh and not covered in MSG. Lovely crispy duck pancakes, soft salt & chilli squid and great black bean chicken among the dishes ordered. It probably was a few pounds more expensive than Zin, but worth it. Would recommend this as a takeaway for anyone in the dulwich area, & we will be ordering from there from now on too.

Small crowded place with quite a buzz, very friendly staff, extensive menu with all the usual suspects featured. Food is average, much more 'european-friendly' versions of dishes than necessary I felt but given how busy it was it is certainly a very popular restaurant and a hit with the locals. However having spent 10 years in Hong Kong I was looking for more authentic Chinese food than a european pastiche of Chinese food so was a little disappointed.

I lived 2 minutes walk from this lovely Chinese restaurant and this became our local. The decor is pretty traditional and as it's quite small it feels intimate, either with a big group of friends or a small meal for two. The food was delicious, especially the grilled dumplings and the sizzling plate dishes. The staff were always lovely and after awhile knew exactly what I wanted when we ordered take away. Having moved to East London I really miss Mr Liu's!

Lovely food and lovely service, the menu is a veritable feast in itself. Book early for a table though as it is extremely popular on the weekend.

Dieses ausgezeichnete Restaurant der chinesischer Küche ist im Dulwich Dorf Gebiet von London gefunden. Es ist ein Familiengeschäft, das großen Dienst und phantastisches Menü mit leckerer Speise hat. Ich bin dort mit einem Vetter der Mine, der einen Sohn mit Mutterallergien und das Restaurant immer hat, ist sehr vorsichtig gegangen, keine Muttern mit anderen Bestandteilen sie zu mischen, benutzen beim Kochen Speise für meine Vetternfamilie, die groß ist, während andere Restaurants immer sie erzählen, dass sie sie nicht garantieren können, dass irgendeine Mutter Dienst befreit. Auch würde ich recommender für Sie, zu haben, isst dort zerrissenen chilli Rindfleisch, das es unbedingt perfekt ist. Und für Nachtisch hat die toffe Äpfel, die es ein großes Gericht ist, das mit Vanilleeis gedient wird.
