Brilliant food, wine and service. We had Dim Sum and Salt & Pepper ribs (yummy). Lovely table and service was great. Loved it!

I rated Mr Laus a few years ago after my first visit with 3 stars. My Husband and I have been many times since then and it's always been great - maybe the first visit was an off day! I'd definitley say it deserves a consistent 4 or 5.

Visited for the Hoi Tin buffet and it was amazingly good value. Good choice for 4 courses and don't get rushed through at all.Staff as always very pleasant and chatty. Will visit again as seems to be our regular now when eating out

Choy Hing

30/01/2020: Slightly outside of Warrington in a good location with some parking. A sizeable restaurant with polite friendly staff.
08/02/2020: We haven’t been for years and we’re really glad we returned to the Choy Hing. Very good food from an extensive menu. In particular the Dim Sum Platter starter was excellent. Fantastic and very prompt service. Always busy, which proves it’s good, would recommend booking. We’ll be back with the now grown up kids !

The Little Box of Treats

20/12/2019: First point of note this restaurant is cash only. The place is small so reservations advised. It actually looks like a cake shop on entry, odd but it’s actually quite quaint. Staff friendly and welcoming. We had the vermicelli as mains. Absolutely delicious and a fulsome portions. The starters were less impressive. Steamed dim sums lovely but fried items were over cooked and flat. The sweet and sour sauce lacks zing too. But that aside a great place.
17/12/2019: Yup, came back again, this time with a friend from Northern Ireland. My go-to dish is the singapore noodles (mixed meat) and the best dim sum I've tasted. This time though I opted for an off-piste won ton noodle soup. I now know why my wife choses this whenever we come. Won tons are delicious and plentiful. The broth is full of flavour with the vegetables cooked with a nice crunch and noodles swimming in flavour.
