Man was trying to price more for portion they sale,and instead of lamb I asked he gave me beef,food doesn't taste good at all,not sure what happened might be new owners or chef,but not recommended that place at all guys.

Bad customer service,food is not good and they charge so much. Do not trust and pay them service and people working there. AVOID AVOID AVOID dont go .

The **** sprays kebabs and meat with Ghee (clarified butter). Ignorant of allergies. STAY AWAY

Had to wait too long for my food

I though this place looked nice with the chicken - once! Seriously passing by this place twice a day now and seeing how they prepare the food and the maggots and waste out back on Wellington Road I am surprised the Council have not closed the place(probably says more about the Council) Even the pidgeons avoid the leftovers!

I come here often for lunch, great variety of food from kebabs, kebab rolls, currys, peri-peri chicken and a large selection of Indian food. Absolutely love the food here would recommend!

Never ever buy jeans from here. I bought roghni naans and they were worst ever not even roghni I dont know what that was. They don't know how to make naan

I had tried to make a phone order and the service I received was absolutely appalling! The person I spoke to was absolutely rude during the while conversation and didn't even have the courtesy to apologise for his ill manners. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anybody at all.

Awful, unclean place. Windows next to where some food is, both, stored and cooked has car exhaust fumes pouring in through the open window. Unhygienic. Terrible late afternoon takeaway. Staff seem disinterested and lazy. Some food was reheated via a microwave. How does a place like this exist?

I have high concerns about the hygiene here. The staff seemed more focused on selling and were in shambles. Normally you expect to be seated, have your cutlery and cups etc provided. This wasn't the case. We were seated for a while food was provided and then after requesting cutlery was provided. The food was very greasy, team of the items were tasty. I asked for a somosa and was provided 3. Asked for a Sheek kebab and was given 4. Very sales focused. I don't think I would be back. I only came as I had a friend with me who was insistent on choosing a nearby halal kebab shop.

A good quality freshly made doner and other grilled items. The only thing is the wait time is usually higher than other restaurants since they make most of foods fresh. Other than that, everything is good and quality is awesome. It is few of the HMC certified shops in Croydon. Overall good.

Untasty, not fresh, stale food, we couldn't finish the chicken, had to bin it although my heart aches when I waste food!!! What a waste of money!! DIRTY PLACE !!!!!!!! something wrong with that place and people working there.......... :-(

No offence to those guys at Kebabish but if you want to play Russian Roulette with diarrhoea or all sorts of infections go here. They have no idea what the word Hygiene is haha. Birth place of food poisoning. If you check online they got 1 star for hygiene. Nice bunch of guys though

Very poor hygiene level in the restaurant. Witnessed flies on the food but staff did not bother as they were too busy in selling. Food inspectors must visit this restaurant to check their standards. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE !

Naan bread is nice but food is very oily and every time I bought food from there we got ill. The dishes are not fresh. Not recommended

Avoid this shop , abusive staff , no customer services, poor hygiene . I will never recommend , the management (if there is any) should get rid off of such ill-mannered staff.

This is fairly basic décor, with Pakistani TV. Its close by Sumner Road bus stop, two stops out towards Thornton Heath from West Croydon on the 64, 109, 198, 250 buses. The seats are more comfortable than fashionable. I have eaten here four times and had no tummy problems. It is more basic and Pakistani food in good quantity, than the superior cooking and decor, but sometimes stingy portions at nearby Sri Lankan restaurant Kalpa. The most recent visit I asked for a Chicken Biryani with some sauce and sat down. It seemed to take about ten mins, which was odd, as they had trays of the stuff. When it came it was pilau rice covered with a generous portion of Chicken Curry! It being cold, and after 2, I was too hungry and devoured the meal. Something got lost in translation. The bill was £8 rather than the £5 biryani price, but I was pleased with a good lunch. A previous time I came by at the weekend after a beer tasting and asked what was in the large food tins. One had "Brain masala" so that had to be sampled. It was fine and tasty, a good curry, quite soft texture, good tomato and coriander curry sauce. The customers come in for take away business a lot so it is not that warm in here in winter, but the food is good. Toilets were clean. Be clear when ordering and make sure that the server has understood, and you should have a decent meal.

Despite inspections from council. This place has not complied with food standards. It's evident as you enter the place. It looks dirty and I can only image it's the type of place where there's no anti bac soap in the cooks kitchen area. After reading how poor the condition of the resturant is online I no longer vist here.

Sub standard food and rubbish service

If you value your health you should not eat from this place (has been awarded a zero hygiene rating in the Croydon Advertiser - please use google to find this article as I cannot upload link). I had to learn my lesson the hard way. Poor customer service on two separate occasions. Ordered 5 whole chickens for collection. Waited nearly an hour and still no food ready. The order was clearly given to someone else and the staff tried to cover this up. Had to wait another half an hour for my actual order which was clearly overpriced, with no discounts or apology offered. Food portions are ridiculous as I ordered large chips and was surprised that it was half filled in a very flattened box. Staff very stingy with portions and prices! Even the complimentary sauce was watered down to 70% water 30% sauce. The salad? Just a handful of stale lettuce. The grilled chicken does taste ok but I do question the cleanliness of the kitchen after reading the article. Never again Mr. Kebabish. There are better choices around the area

Long waiting and okok quality food.

I went to this area for a Sri Lankan Buffet at nearby Dosa n'Chutny. No! Buffet now only at weekends. So I went to their competition, Dosa Lounge on St James' Road. No! Restaurant closed down! Mr Kebabish had just one other diner in there and a loud Pakistani TV channel. Pretty basic décor typical of Lahoree cafes. There are lots of trays of the curries available and 2 mounds of biryani. So I went for "Chicken Biryani" and asked for some sauce for it. He asked which? "Chicken curry sauce". It was served very nicely with scraps of lettuce on a small plate and a double chutney holder with sweet yet spicy red chilli flecked sauce and a minty yogurt. The Biryani was on the salty side but a generous mound with chicken bits on the bone, curry sauce quite tasty and underneath the rice, which worked well on a coldish day. The mint yogurt was a great addition that improved the meal. I left pretty well pleased - and for only £5 - back out into the cold mean wind outside.

Clean place. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Wide variety of Tandoori, paratha, naan bread, biryani and kebab varieties available. Food was very tasty.

Basically a slightly posh kebab shop but well worth a visit. There is a selection of Pakistani dishes always available, the usual lamb and chicken doners and, what makes this place good, the charcoal grill which seems to be permanently cooking chicken to various degrees of spiciness. A whole charcoal grilled chicken plus three freshly made naan breads for £7 - one of the tastiest bargains available around these parts.

Essentially a fast-food joint....totally reasonable, yet unspectacular....service quite pleasant, but fairly snail-paced.....the aloo palak was okay....and coley (coli) was on the only fish on the menu (so the menu is a bit 'narrow')....the aloo paratha, was, on the other hand, freshly made, and very good.

I am a firm believer in giving my local food establishments a few chances to impress me, not that my needs are high only I expect a pleasent service, good tasting food but a very high level of cleanliness. Mr Kebabish... pleasent service, a good variety of dishes without being over the top and the food I have tried is delicious....but the cleanliness lets this establishment down. Everything seems to be grubby, probably due to the open BBQ but it does seem a very distant after thought. If you can put that aside you would probably enjoy the food there although I personally have never sat and ate, I tend to take away. One of the gentlemen is very pleasent and eager to please his clientle but others seems to walk around as if in a dream like state. I find the eating area...not pleasent...grubby and uninviting but good enough to wait for food if you do not wish to stand. I have not been to this premises since February, so they might have cleaned up considerably but I doubt it. I can actually say that their lamb shank is vile...greasy, grisly and tasteless but that is the only item I have purchased and been disappointed with, although I have not tasted everything.

I am regular going to Kababish really nice tasty Pakistani food... Specially Haleem, Nihari, Biryani and kebabs... Must visit...

There is no real service. Disorganized is the term to qualify them.
