Hecky thump that was a lovely piri piri chicken burger. Bit sloppy but insanely tasty. Thanks very much. Husband says his burger was as good as his favourite five guys. Bun wasn't black though? Anyway, everything was enjoyed. Fries and onion rings were spot on. Thanks again 👍

Ordered off just eat at 6.50pm, arrived 25 minutes later (which was almost 30 minutes quicker than the app suggested) so very impressed. Food piping hot, great quality takeaway food. By far the best takeaway around the local area would strongly recommend

did forget ice cream but brought it straight away. unfortunately the app starts a refund request when you say something is missing.

I’ve just had the worst takeaway of my life! Had a bite out of the chicken wrap, Disgusting. Had a bite from the chips, swimming in greasy cheese sauce that looks and tastes like it has been fermenting in the heat for days. Ordered somewhere else and threw the rest in the bin. What a load of rubbish, will not be ordering from here again and I urge you to do the same. The company is very clearly a money laundering front with AI depicted reviews all over their Google reviews. DO NOT ORDER! (I threw up 20 mins after leaving this review)

Delivered the wrong items, I ordered the mr whippy sundae with CHOCOLATE sauce, they delivered with strawberry which neither of us like, it was literally covered in sauce, when I rung I was dismissed and then when I read the description out which stated chocolate sauce I was then told they’d deliver a pot of chocolate sauce to put over all the strawberry sauce, didn’t make sense to me, got chucked away and waiting for my refund 🙃

I payed extra for Nutella on top And there nothing it’s literally dry and cheap taste like Morrisons cookie heated Dessert is terrible my bookie is burnt and hard !!! Poor food very bad

Nice friendly delivery driver and good was delivered quickly and was hot. Lovely lemon and herb wings, top notch... fries a bit dried up but the pizza was ok. Not the best but certainly not the worst. I enjoyed it and will try Mr Gs again.

Spent £27.00 on 1 Donna and chicken mix box 1 box of chicken strips (5) 1 cheesy chips 1 normal chips 2 cans of pop This was our first takeaway this year & let's say we won't ever be ordering from here again. The food was terrible.. Cheese on chips was some sort of cheese sauce.. chicken wasn't nice, one bite, and i was done. The whole order was just minging.

Delivery was over an hour late and when food arrived it was cold. Very disappointed, due to the high price of the food.

My burger was soggy as and could barely hold it

not American food. hot dog is just a standard large sausage not an american style hot dog in some kind of wrap type bread and not a hot dog bun. burgers were black. asked for bbq wings and got spicy wings. asked for red sauce on fries and got red salt instead. fried chicken was good and delivery was on time.

We order from here now and again for the kids, the food is good and delivered on time, they did forget a can of pop, and said he'd be back but I wasn't hopeful on that from past experiences, however, they did come back with the can of pop! thanks guys :)

Absolutely fantastic food. We’re new to the area and stumbled across Mr G’s, we were hesitant to take a risk on somewhere new, but boy are we glad we did. The food was delicious, hot and the portions were spot on. Highly recommend this restaurant and we’ll definitely be ordering again soon.

Service was a bit on the off side. However, my peers and I did come to the conclusion that the sakes were well worth the wait. Top notch! Hope to order again soon, it felt like Christmas when the waffle burger arrived.

Cannot fault them, ordered online and arrived very quickly with food piping hot and very tasty. I will order again if this wasn't a one off 👏🏼

We were told 30-40 mins, called them after an hour and was told it's on it's way. 40mins later still not arrived ask to speak to a manager and he didnt care, and wasnt bothered about my complaint. When the food arrived it was cold, I asked for no olives or peppers on my salad and that's all the salad had on with a bit of lettuce and dried cold chicken. It's a shame because normally the food is excellent and customer service is great.

Ordered food in store but screens above were out of order, so I didn’t know prices. Got home and checked via their app and got overcharged by just over £1 but then noticed I was a piece of chicken missing as well. Not happy but can’t be bothered to go back to make complaint as food would’ve been cold and kids were starving.

Ordered food. Waited nearly 1 hr 30 mins. Then the order arrived with items missing. Rung up and then they said they will send them out. Another hour, nothing has turned up. This place is overrated and pretty poor tbh. Better takeaways and they will go out of business. Do not waste your money. Trust me.

The food last night as always was amazing. The burgers are always big and the portion of chips is generous too. If you are after a lighter option for a takeaway the chicken salad is absolutely delicious.

Absolutely amazing, compared to other takeaways locally it's far and away better and they don't cut any corners, the burger was succulent the wings were unflappable in their ability to be the tastiest in town and the chips were seasoned to perfection! Would definitely recommend!

Ordered chicken kebab box and it was just full off the horrible bits you use to make a chicken broth. Never going here again.

Had a mixed meat box and Mr GS special burger 🍔 and I couldn't find fault nice to see burgers wrapped in foil to keep hot too ... Definitely be back Thankyou

Ordered here once, really enjoyed their pizza and made me want to eat there again HOWEVER when ordering again I found 2 long strands of black hair. Never ever eating there again, I’ve seen a couple other reviews including the hair issue, please either wear hairnets or shave your heads.

The food has always been good, however in the last couple of times we have ordered, even when it’s not been a weekend. We have had over easily over an hours wait for food. All we get from the takeaway is we are awaiting drivers. Tip for you get more drivers or maybe pay them better 🤷🏻‍♂️ If it’s the same next time then we will move on.

I ordered 3 build your own burgers which cost me 28.00 not happy last time I ordered this we got fries with the burgers and I ordered cheesy fries separate. This time I got 3 burgers no fries despite asking for hot cheese sauce on two of the meals. Yet the takeaway did not even call to check I had the right order

We've ordered her before, chicken fillet burgers, burgers and pizza - all really good. But today I ordered a grilled chicken salad and was disappointed with the food and customer service. The salad was limited, no tomato or cucumber the chicken was excessively spicy, peri peri route chicken in sauce - not grilled chicken as described on the menu. I cakes them and they were very unhelpful, saying that is what our grilled chicken is .. they clearly don't care about having our custom again - and I won't order from there again.

We’ve had 2 takeaways from here and enjoyed it both times. Good menu with enough variety, friendly staff and decent wait times.

The garlic bread was cooked near perfect along with the chicken wings, couldn't fault them but the burger was burnt and for the price was a really cheap tasting burger. I even asked if it was a standard takeaway burger and was told no it's much better. That was a lie. shame i would of gone back otherwise. Pretty quick delivery and friendly driver but would avoid getting the burger.

Don’t recommend, half an hour late. Spent £5 on a cookie dough and it was just a small cookie literally! And they forgot my chips.

My family had a pizza the other night from here. They were amazing and worth the money. Delivery driver was polite aswel.

Don’t bother, spent £2.10 on chips and not enough to feed a pigeon and they were half burnt and stale. None of the staff were wearing masks and got all of my change in silver. Waste of time

Burger was decent chips not so and garlic bread with cheese came cold over cooked and had the texture of a roof slate to say I waited over 30min for it after placing my order disappointed is an understatement

We've ordered from here quite regularly since it opened, and it just keeps getting better. I love the chicken burgers, but following a recent expansion of their desserts menu, they're the real star of the show; I've been trying to order a different desserts each time, and I haven't had a bad one yet - waffles, chocolate cake, sticky toffee pudding, cheesecake, all fantastic! And if you love red salt, then the fries here are just for you.

Wow!!! We had pizza and burger tonight and it was amazing. I cant recommed the burgers enough, so tasty and such good value. We chose our own pizza toppings which i would highly recommend. The staff are always polite and so helpful.

Love the food. Busy takeaway so order early, foods always hot, very friendly drivers. New fave takeaway. Plus... square pizza that ACTUALLY fits in the square pizza box. Genius.

Ordered online at 7.37pm to be told would be delivered in 45mins. Still waiting an hour after this given time therefore rang the takeaway. Could not get through as was constantly engaged, option given to speak to someone online who was as useful as a chocolate teapot, didn’t do anything other than offer conflicting advice. Eventually got through to the takeaway who did keep apologising but then asked us to come and collect?! This was now 2 hours after placing original order. Came to collect and was told it would be 10 minutes - I waited over 20 mins!! Was told they were extremely busy etc etc despite having 6 staff and more than 3 delivery drivers - obviously can’t cope with the demand. Whilst in the shop i witnessed staff fobbing customers off on the phone and they were just generally stressed! Very amateur. Eventually got food 2 and a half hours after ordering. Will not be returning.

Beep burgers are one of the best

Amazing milkshakes. Got to design my own milkshake and added what I wanted. Had a beef burger which was nice and juicy also had a chicken burger too. Would recommend 'make it your own' burger. This place was clean and staff were very friendly. A place to have your weekend take away for sure.

Pizza was absolutely beautiful, shame about chicken noodles, far too spicy and in the menu it says nothing about spice. i can highly recommend the pizza

Just got to say the food is delicious, some of the best burgers ive ever eaten but the service is awful on 2 occasions the food has been late, ive had to wait in the shop for my order once after being told it was ready and on Saturday my order was wrong and by the time I got it over 2 hours had past by, no refund or complimentary item, this is definitely not fast food

Visited Mr G’s after a long week at work. We ordered a ‘smokin juicy burger’ with cheesy fries, a peri chicken wrap meal and a lovers milkshake... only one word can describe the taste of the food... UNBELIEVABLE! They were real beef patties, and a real chicken breast in the wrap. The portion size was waaaayyyy more than your average takeout food and was great value for money too. The service was great and we were treat like royalty when we enetered. If you’ve not been people... you must pay a visit. We will definitely be making this our new take out spot..

This is the best take away I have ever eaten from. Milkshakes, sundaes, waffles, burgers, pizzas. This place has everything you could need. I had a 'ghost' which was milkybar, white kinder Bueno, ice cream, and loads more. The owner is chatty and helpful, definitely will be returning for buy one get one free waffle Wednesday !
