Disgusting food and the hygiene rating is very poor

Put the order in it was only a Wednesday night, waited for over an hour. Nothing arrived cancelled the order in the end. What a complete waste of time will never be ordering from this place again. customer service the girl on the other end of the phone complete attitude I do not expect People jumping over barrels, but a little common courtesy and a bit of customer service does not go to miss

Every time we order from Mr Chois. It always comes in time or earlier and they always read the requests, as of taking the pineapple out of dishes and no prawn crackers which we appreciate! Every order of food we have received is always piping hot, covered in sauce and always has flavour! The drivers who deliver the food is always smile, polite and kind, not many people have a kindness to them. When I missed an instruction off they called us and asked what we would like to happen to the food as of the change and the person on the phone was very polite, kind and cheerful!

One of the tastiest I’ve had yet. I will definitely be returning here.

I had special chow mein with gravy. The gravy was disgusting. Even the colour of it made me feel sick. I usually love a Chinese gravy. The worst chinese takeaway I've ever had. My hubby had mummi duck he said everything tasted horrible

Always a tasty meal with fresh ingredients. Delivery is quick and food is hot. Large menu with some unique twists on traditional offerings.

Well,just had chicken fu yung, chips and spring rolls. The chips were wisend and dry,the spring rolls were christened, the egg fu yung was just dry and unappetizing.

Absolutely disgusting food from here, spent £31 and the whole lot went in the bin so disappointed and will not be returning

Ordered house special fried rice after a long day at work! Got home chicken fried rice? Phone the girl I ordered with explained whatno had she said oh you said no ham. OK but where's the pork beef king prawns. So I go back In.my jarmas for a house special fried rice come home I get chicken fried rice like the first that was given with a bit of pork 3 prawns well shrimp amd 2 slices of chicken really house special fried rice I think not won't b going back

Excellent food and delivery, beef in Mongolia sauce is the best, would definitely recommend. First class.

Chips really over cooked dry and horrible ..over priced and menu so complicated would never go again!

Food very tasty. Only thing chips seemed like yesterdays very hard.but would order again only if the chips were just fried its only ever a treat instead of me cooking .

The chips were hard and tasteless, the worst I've ever eaten, although the fish was better it wasn't great.

Wouldn't recommend and If you didn't have to give at least one star I wouldn't of even give them that 🙄 chicken was like chowing a piece of rubber and the curry sauce looked like last night's left overs 😑 avoid if possible

Well worth a trip to get a takeaway.

Meat is soft and sloppy no good

Beef curry with fried rice was lovely. Singapore vermicelli noodles were bland but had plenty of meat and fish in it. Avoid the chips. They were hard and crispy.

Crispy shredded chicken strips with chilly peppers and onion my favourite dish from Mr Choi's. Chis are always nice and crispy, chicken is delicious and Peking sauce is great.

Excellent Chinese takeaway, great food and fabulous menu and very well priced.

A tasty meal, depending on the province of the dish and chefs own interpretation, Mr Choi's has a good menu choice to be explored.

Good food, short waiting time and reasonably priced, not a great deal of waiting area though so can get crowded easy.

I've had the good fortune to eat at many places around the world and can happily say this is the worst take away I have ever eaten. I wish I'd sat and had a packet of crisps instead. It says a lot when I throw away food after hardly eating it! I certainly won't be going back!

I have used these for a while. Ordered tonight was over a hour for delivery rang up for them to say could I collect errr no I have had a glass of wine it’s friday ... then they said we will get it out to you soon as poss.. extra half hour it turns up driver drop it off .. put on mine and daughters plate I start eating (house special fry rice,position of noodles, prawn crack) rice rubbery awful . I rang to complain they inexplain I don’t like too complain but it was awful and I was so dispointed as always used them the girl said well we had a driver ring in sick i said that not the customers problem then she say we will give I a free fried rice I have to go buy and put phone down Single parent it not every day we order take out and as on week hols this week as end of holiday treat but was a disspointment

Ordered chicken curry. The curry was OK, but the chicken was like cardboard. First and last time to use an eatery which can't cook a basic meat.

The spare ribs are beautiful, the rest of the food is poor the egg fried rice is very poor no egg in curry samosa is awful a lot nicer in China Diner.

Just ordered and the order was wrong. Staff told me I had ordered that. Never order from them again..

Was going to get a Chinese tonight but the woman who takes the order said have you a problem with which I said nothing and changed my mind about the order so business was lost phoned another Chinese instead.

Worth coming over from Washington for. Good food, decent prices and they're pretty quick too.

Fancied Chinese and thought we Wud try different one. Didn't have the menu but found copy on Google. Fast delivery excellent food. Delicious will recommend this to anyone. Duck on the aromatic duck appetisers succulent and tasty received two free spring rolls. They were huge tasty and Piping hot 🔥 full of flavour.

I stayed in Durham from Year 2000 to 2004. Originally from Malaysia, I was studying at Durham University. I often patronised Mr Choi's not only because of the food but because the owner and his family were friendly to me. I remember playing badminton with him and his daughter once.

I love this place never eat chinese takeaway from anywhere else. Its still open despite what google says and food is fab xx

This is by far the best Chinese take away in durham that I've had. Really good selection of tasty food and a good delivery service too.
