This place is a dump. Filthy floors. Filthy tables. Filthy windows. Uninvitingly drab inside and out, and with a serious lack of EV chargers. Avoid

Nasty pot holes on the roundabout entering the services, I'm surprised NASA don't test their Lunar Rovers here! Services appeared clean and fresh. Noticed that development on site to add extra EV charging points for those that need a plug.

This is without doubt the worst service facility I have ever visited in the UK motorway system. WARNING! on parking my car in a disabled parking bay the nearside rear tyre was touching the yellow line. For this MOTO have served me with a £100 fine. It is my advice to any motorist: do not enter this service area.

Probably the worst service area I have ever had the dubious pleasure of calling in at. I've seen some bad ones, like the one on the M62 near liverpool and some good ones like Tebay on the M6 but this definitely topped the charts of the worst. Where to begin...the entrance had poor signage to the car park - at least the signs were hard to see, let alone read, in the dark. This was due to very poor lighting and poorly placed signs. The car park, when I found it, was also very badly lit. The entrance to the service area just looked scruffy and the floor inside was dirty with every waste bin in sight filled to the brim and spilling out onto nearby surfaces. The toilets were in a state of apparent disrepair. Nearly half of the urinals were covered over and out of use. First tap I tried didn't work and one of the two hand dryers was out of order. To add to it all was the overwhelming stench which made me only too glad to get out of there. I still needed a break from driving so decided to get a coffee. Coffee, from Costa, was actually pretty OK although service left a little to be desired and I couldn't find a clean table to sit at to drink it despite there being few people around at 8pm on a Friday night. After that went to get a hugely overpriced flapjack from W H Smith for a quick snack. It took me longer to pay for it than to eat it as, guess what, a till was out of order - does anything work at Tamworth Services? When I did get to pay the, clearly stressed, employee was abrupt and, I felt, a bit rude but, hey ho, rather getting used to it by now. Best thing about this visit - getting back in the car and finding my way to the poorly marked and poorly lit exit Second best thing - knowing that I will never visit this awful place again.

We stopped here for a picnic lunch on our way back from our Devon holiday. Not disappointed with the amount of tables available or the quality of the shops available. The facilities were also very clean aswell. Will use these again when on this route.
