The toilets are a special kind of awfull. Toilets either don't lock or are blocked, no soap, a dribble of water from the tap and the smell, they clearly are not cleaned often at all

typical service station, has a few extras like a pret, m&s, greggs and a few more. good selection still awfully expensive as anywhere else. Think £3+ for drinks and most food £4+. Can recommend the greggs but it is situated in the bridge above the motorway. Toilets were also blocked on one half so bit of a pain to cross just for a toilet.

Stopped for short comfort stop and charge our EV car, fortunate to get the only 50kW CHAdeMO available, place could do with more chargers. Overall experience ok and staff helpful and friendly

Horrendous services. Baby change out of service. No soap in any toilets, filthy and foul smelling. Queues everywhere and I could quite easily describe it as hell on earth.

Fairly standard services, but the toilets are substandard - the men's weren't too bad, but the ladies toilets were 'disgusting', as reported by my wife - there are only 5 cubicles and she had to queue for nearly 30 minutes to get in there...

We always stop at knutsford for a drink and snacks, friendly staff, and always somewhere to sit inside and out.

This morning was our first time at Knutsford Services and sorry to say it will be our last. The cleaners must be on strike. Very disappointed.

Disgusting smell of sewage in car park and part of main service building. So bad some people walking around holding their noses. Definitely try to avoid today 12th August if possible. Very hot today wonder if heat or weather related.

Just called in on our way to Nantwich to use the toilet. Got Parked Ok but it was very very busy. It took ages to get back out onto the M6 motorway.

Car park, the paint had been worn away, so a lot of people were confused about the exit and entrance plus the one-way system. The place inside smelt an awful musky smell throughout, 5 minutes stop!

Not very clean inside and out. Very unpleasant smell inside and outside. We were pleased to get back into our car and leave.

Toilets are very, very filthy, with several toilet blocked/doors broken/no lock. To charge my car, there weren't many charging points, but it was still doable.

This has to be the worst service station I have ever attended. Gents toilets are absolutely disgusting! Doors hanging off, locks broken on door. Toilet paper on floor. Urinals blocked and overflowing. Stank of urine and was filthy!

I recently stopped at Knutsford Services and was very disappointed with the lack of accessibility for disabled visitors. The disabled parking lacks dropped kerbs, making it difficult for wheelchair users to access the main building. The lift was out of order and being used as a storage room for cleaning supplies, preventing access to the first-floor this made it impossible for anyone unable to use stairs or in a wheelchair to reach the food and drink outlets. I strongly advise avoiding this service area until these issues are addressed.

Worst services I think I have ever been to in UK (certainly on m6). Decent shops might entice you to stop. Don’t. The whole place is absolutely filthy. You won’t even want to use the toilet without dousing yourself in hand sanitiser afterwards. Truly gross.

29th July 6.30pm, just pulled in to hgv parking. Rubbish bins overflowing rubbish everywhere, the ladies toilets the worse I've seen in services, absolutly disgusting, but happy to take £30 for hgv parking. The place is a health hazard!

A motorway rest stop with food and drinks.

Convenient, as it's right on the motorway (you don't have to leave off a slip road). Plenty of parking and clean toilets.

Only used the loo as it was very busy and as I am disabled I couldn't reach everything on the bridge

Worst services I have ever seen...filthy floors with no cleaning staff present (we stayed atleast an hour)...Burger King staff was very rude...it was 30° and no air con...cleaning station has no tissue/ blue roll tp clean tje table which was as filthy and dirty as it could be.

Not a great service station. Parking is easy and there are some shops including a Gregg's, Pret a Manger and more, but the overall experience is not a positive one. Most people will stop at services for a comfort break some refreshments and a toilet stop and on the latter point the toilet facilities here are very poor. You can smell them about 30 feet away before you enter which kind of sets the tone of what follows. They were filthy, out of supplies and generally in a hell of a mess. Just awful. The lack of care extends out into the retail areas which weren't clean, most tables were covered in food debris and wider mess and the overall state of the services is poor. Needs a big overhaul. If you have to stop here I wish you the best of luck.

It's just a motorway service station like any other, somewhere to rest and stretch your legs, food and drink is expensive just like all motorway services.

A little run down but we found it a very convenient place to stop. A varied amount of shops selling food at reasonable prices.

Ridiculously expensive everywhere felt grubby and needed a good clean

It was okay but pretty expensive had a tuna BAP the staff did not really seem that interested in Costa but it was okay

Go there these morning at about 6.00 pm ,absolutely dirty place ,you get welcome with overflowing bins at the entrance and the toilets absolutely dirty god knows when the have been cleaned last

Toilets had no toilet roll in them at 10am on a saturday and no attendants around to get some. Dissapointing visit to say the least. Southbound is looking a bit drab and in need of some TLC

Large hub with restaurants toilets loads of shops. Wheelchair friendly parking is free including disabled parking, up to 3 hours, there is a hotel and laundrette, cash point is only negative, which they charge £1.99, customer service friendly

The first time I've visited this service station, there is no signage to tell me where disabled parking was, the service station was clean with plenty of choices, we visited Burger King but definitely won't be again it was disappointing that the food was swimming in fat

Good location, I paid for the parking, and with a voucher I ate at KFC, the guy from KFC was great, I took a shower, let's see if we have guests on the trailer or cargo, I'll be back in the morning.....everything is fine in the morning. ..recommend👌👍

Popped in needing the loo went to fuel station one. Turns out needed key went to till where I was told I need to que in a massive que bare in mind I needed the loo fast! Me crossing my legs needing it. Get to till and asked again. He gives it me. I get in there and they may aswell not bother locking it the mold! Holes in wall, Cobwebs ect is disgusting. Saying this has a Greg's like round the corner of it it's not very clean at all !!

Knutsford Northbound, an old, worn-out Moto site by the M6 between J18-J19. It was built in 1963, and very little has changed structurally since opening, meaning Knutsford is a cramped place and annoying to use when busy. Knutsford Northbound is situated directly off the M6 between junctions, meaning motorists can access the site more quickly and easily without the need of a roundabout to leave at. Car parking seems to be an issue at this site. Knutsford only provides parking for vans, cars and coaches. Caravans and Lorries must continue on to Lymm, the next services up the M6. This means Knutsford is not able to cater for all customers. Despite taking up parking space, the Costa Drive Thru is a very useful facility for customers solely of Costa, who don’t necessarily need any other facility inside the amenity building. Costa Drive Thru means you don’t have to leave your car, and can save time if in a rush. There are multiple electric vehicle charging points at Knutsford North, meaning customers of such vehicles can charge up. There is a Travelodge motel on-site, offering customers a fairly low-cost overnight stay if required. Fuel is provided by BP here, with the petrol garage offering a shop and a small Greggs. I wouldn’t recommend buying fuel here as it’s rather costly, as with most motorway services. There is limited greenspace around Knutsford Northbound, making this stop highly unsuitable for pets which need walking. It also means that during the summer, customers have no choice other than to enter a possibly cramped amenity building with no benches or other outdoor spaces to eat. The appearance of the amenity building from the exterior is actually rather ghastly. Knutsford is one ugly looking services and would make you wish you’d chose somewhere else. It’s so untidy. I don’t mind stopping at older motorway services so long as they look presentable (such as Corley) but it’s clear Moto don’t maintain the exterior much. There are plenty of brand advertisements from the exterior as well. The interior is not any better. Knutsford North is cramped, limited, small and overall just very depressing. It’s very disorganised, dated and difficult to use when busy. In the lower level Northbound extension, we have a WHSmith convenience store, remaining open 24 hours and providing Costa Express and Krispy Kreme donuts, we have a Burger King outlet and a Costa kiosk (which during my visit was being refurbished). A small communal seating area caters for BK/Costa. On the upper level footbridge area, we have a larger seating area with a pleasant view of the M6. We have a Greggs outlet, KFC and an M&S Simply Food luxury grocery store. Moto are opening a Pret A Manger where the old Costa lounge was, but that hasn’t opened yet. The bridge area of Knutsford is the only decent part of the site, with plenty of food outlets and M&S in addition to a well-kept seating area and pleasant view. Obviously, it would’ve been much more luxurious as a buffet restaurant in 1963, but the bridge area is definitely better than the lower level extensions here. There is a Changing Places toilet facility for disabled customers, making Knutsford a more accessible pit stop. In addition to the Changing Places is a regular Disabled toilet (the key for both of these can be retrieved at WHSmith). Now the gents toilets. As expected from such a dirty, cramped services, the toilets are a mess. Firstly, it’s a small gents for a services (only 6 cubicles and of these, only 4 were working). The floors were wet, poor maintenance, too many toilets/urinals broken and just rather dirty. At least they binned those awful PropelAirs, but should have considered a full toilet refurbishment. Overall, it’s fair to say Knutsford has lost its sparkle. I’m sure it was much nicer in the 1960s, but Moto really need to maintain the place better as my opinion was that it was just worn-down, dated and dirty. Some investment needed for sure and I wouldn’t stop here again.

Not far from my destination of Stafford, the fuel light came on. As my wife becomes a little nervous about this, I decided to pop a quick £10 of fuel in. You can't pay at the pump so I had to go into the shop to pay. Nobody at the shop/fuel counter, so I and others had to wait at the Greggs counter to pay whilst other users were getting their lattes and donuts, etc! Fast food, not fast fuel 😞

Can’t fault the services at knutsford , However. That sign that denotes the start of the motorway is badly hidden by the bushes , Maybe the maintenance team. Could cut that back and make the entrance to the motorway a bit safer ,? I’m not moaning. Just pointing it out ,

Three stars is being generous. What a dump. Worn decor and weary staff. Poorly marked car park. Good example of all that is bad about UK Mway services. I don't usually stop at this services and was reminded why. This place is potentially dangerous because it puts people off stopping for a rest who really should stop for a rest.

Not a bad services just need to work on the friendless of the staff in WHS they are like the Gestapo ! Only every had the Arctic cold welcome from them!!! Considering the signs say no trucks this really needs to be policed better you can't get in with a coach! Otherwise it's clean decent burger and Costa staff excellent in those outlets and toilets aren't too far from coach drop off point will chose those over sanbach ( minus maybe the Gestapo)

Not a fan of services, hiked up prices nowing that you need them, it's daylight robbery, I don't know how there allowed to rip you off like that. It's disgusting how a bar of chocolate, or a pack of crisps, or any of the confectioneries are over double the price as Tesco, How is this allowed to happen, outrageous.
