Mossbrook InnMoosbrock Pub in North East Derbyshire

Met with 3 friends for a meal and a much appreciated catch up. All meals looked very nice. I had a fillet steak it was nice but slightly overcooked more medium than medium rare but it was lovely.Seemed to be quite a busy night but the £10.00 off offer was on. The only thing I found a little bit unsure about was none of the waitresses were wearing face visors or masks as they are in lots of eateries. It was my choice to go there but I do feel safe when I see them protecting themselves and the customers. I will be going back but when it's a little quieter. It was good to have a discount on as it can be a bit pricey I also had a bottle of Frexinet as a late birthday treat from the Mossbrook.

Despite pre ordering our meals we waited over an hour for first course which was very nice Another long wait for main course waiter returned immediately to take away food which was cold obviously aware error had been made Steak was served rare instead of well done Champagne flute covered in lip stick People were stood in entrance smoking had to move to let us in and out .... discussing.....out of order when taking children management need to address this Disappointing night out. Mossbrook you failed to deliverWill not be visiting again despite a reduction in the bill

We visited today for lunch, sat outside on the lovely patio. The food was delicious, I had the spit roast chicken, with fries and alioli, chicken was cooked perfectly succulent and plenty of it. To finish I had the mini cheesecake which is not really mini with a latte, tasted as good as it looked, Our waitress was fern, she was very friendly and pleasant, she even ran outside and brought our meals in when it started to rain, service for you. All the staff are friendly and food cooked to perfection

After a fantastic, early family Christmas dinner back in 2017, we re-discovered this lovely inn on our way home from a trip to Graves Park. Thanks to our lovely waitress Steph, an unplanned, spontaneous decision to stop here, on my Mum’s birthday, turned into the most enjoyable of celebrations. The service was faultless, the food tasty, and the kitchen were so accommodating in providing something that my (somewhat limited) 3 year old niece’s palette could enjoy. She woofed her food down and was made to feel very welcome. I would highly recommend the Mossbrook Inn and hope to return there next time we’re in Derbyshire. Thank you Steph and the rest of the team for giving my Mum a wonderful birthday.
