Gave me someone else order what a joke

missing most of the order and what did arrive was cold

No stars, order wasn’t delivered but said that it had, very disappointed

Didn’t even get my fries with my meal

Food took forever when it came, all my hot food was freezing and the McFlurry had melted. Couldn’t even eat it

Kept delaying time ordered at quarter to 10 and came at half 11

always friendly and on time, me and my dad are grateful for the people employed here when we are unable to leave the house

Been there a few times always messed up something. Just ordered and there was a missing item and I rang them up just to tell me that I have to go there and pick up the food !!!

I was really impressed this morning particularly with one lady who went round every table to make sure everyone was happy with the food and service she was chatting to each customer and appeared to know anyone I have been to the derby Rd mcdonalds many times and it's been good but she bought a lot of extra attention to detail where normally I just sit and eat. thankyou to that lady particularly a gold 10 star. she made every feel important

I struggle reviewing McDonalds given they are by design pretty much all the same so it’s rare one stands out either way. The food generally isn’t fantastic and the service generally is delivered painfully by uninterested kids. This one isn’t any different. The positives are the floor staff, who tend to be the more mature ones, they are pleasant and keep things tidy. The servers are no different, glum looking and haven’t learned the words thank you. The food does tend to be on the colder side of lukewarm McDonalds food, it never seems fresh. Presentation is not the usual train wreck that seems to be the norm but I wouldn’t say is good.

To collect a simple order I've been waited for more than 30mins and also not fist time every time I face same problem in this place

If you want an order that is cold and missing food (it always is from this restaurant) then this is the restaurant for you! Been the same here for years! The manager needs to sort his staff out! Been like this for years!

It was clean, it was great food and service the workers are really nice and patient while in other McDonald's like the one near Cineworld in chesterfield is dirty and not great service. It is never too busy and it's great quality. 5 ⭐

worst McDonald's we have ever been too, ordered from here a few times and can honestly say nothing has been good about it, but today honestly took the Mick, ordered nearly 2 hours ago and it only just arrives freezing cold. we will most certainly not be ordering from this McDonald's again. this place needs looking into it's not right.

Driver collects food, goes 10 minute in opposite direction with another delivery, food turns up cold abd you think a £3 credit on my account is acceptable

Went to the McDonald’s tonight got a snobby and ignorant woman (chicki) I think her name was. It was like she didn’t wanna be there! But the blonde manager made it all better! I thanked her for her enthusiasm! I told her “ atleast some body is cheerful and greets with a smile” that’s a perfect role model of a manager! Well done lady! (Didn’t get her name) 1/05/25 9pm

This store has to be the most incompetent McDonald's iv ever visited. Went to the drive-through today only ordered 4 items when I arrived home found 2 items missing, how hard can it be. We also were not given a receipt so could not go back to sort the issue. This is not the first time this has happened, but tried to give them another chance. I will not be using again I'd rather travel to chesterfield of duckmanton.

My burger although wanted no gherkin 🥒 tasted of it as on further looks at it found small bit of a gherkin like they had removed it but still sent out the order

Spaced out seating but slow service

sat 15 mins in the drive through and just over 5 at order window, to then be moved to the extra waiting window at the end, to then be given a big mac (ordered no lettuce and extra sauce) with lettuce no sauce and 1 patty! A chicken mayo (ordered no lettuce) came with lettuce and no sauce and cold fries

Usual modern experience in McDonalds. Order, then wait 15 minutes behind the queue of Deliveroo and Uber Eats staff. When will they figure this out and look after walk-ins so fast food is fast again and the restaurant experience isn’t spoilt by people in hi-vis lounging around with big thermal bags chucked on tables?

I visited McDonald's at Clay Cross, Chesterfield, today. There was a lovely lady called Rachael working there. Her customer service was excellent. She went out of her way with every customer. She was so friendly and bubbly. She definitely deserves recognition 👏 ⭐️

Omg, I'm so not happy with our experience today using the drive thru. From ordering our food to it being brought out to us in the car, we waited 25mins! I wish I had checked our order before we left 😡 2 items were missing from our order... we had 3 lots of fries and they were hakf full! I'm fuming! If we only lived down the road I'd have gone back and complained, but unfortunately we live 20 minutes away!! Honestly, how can you get the orders wrong when you bring out the receipt with the order to the car!! 😡😡

For over 6 months now each time I order from macDonalds Claycross part of the order is stone cold- usually the chips are inedible but this time it was the Big Mac…..over 7 quid for cold food….

The 2 gentlemen that served us and brought food out were very friendly and extremely helpful. Was a pleasure to visit. Friendliest McDonald's I've been too.

Cones in front of the drive thru YET AGAIN. 9/10 times they'll have them out there after 11pm and the odd time when it's open you'll be waiting for over 15 minutes even though it's the middle of the night. Also you can hear the staff from inside complaining and cursing which might explain the cones as their night team seems to not want to bother with doing their job. Something needs to be done about this.

Your driver needs to learn some basic “please and thank you” manners, it may be a while before other drivers receive a tip from me because of him, tell them to thank him.

I tend to order through uber eats it’s hit and miss if you get what you ordered, I just placed an order it came within reasonable time but I had wrong AND missing items the fries hardly ever get filled up properly and the temperature of some items is not always great either and for how much it costs these days it’s not good.

Spent £60. They forgot half my order. Had to drive back to get the rest, then found a long blonde hair in the burger that they forgot to put in on the first trip. The service and ability to pack correct orders is getting worse as time goes on.

I placed an order at 5:50pm. Our food was made at 18:24pm. Our food didn’t get delivered until 7:02pm. The meals were stone cold, the ice creams had melted. The whole order has been binned. I may as well have thrown the £40 down the drain.

The courier gave us the wrong order. I ordered burgers and fries and received some coffee and drinks. it was very disappointing.

There was a problem when I ordered on the app today as I arrived at the drive thru. The member of staff at the window was absolutely brilliant her customer service was outstanding. She called to get the Manager and he was also fabulous and resolved the issue. Food was piping hot and speedy.

This morning I ordered two separate breakfasts via the McDonalds app for collection, thus consisting of the breakfast wrap and mighty McMuffin, both were ordered with ketchup. We collected our order through the drive through, during which I informed the server at the first window that I wanted to give her an additional code for two hash browns that I had redeemed with amassed points in the app. The server was very rude and stated that she couldn’t accept another code. In response I asked if I could place a separate order and she outright refused, raised her eyebrows and said she wouldn’t be taking a separate order from me and that we needed to move to the next window. I know that she was lying as this is something I have done numerous times before and it seemed like she could not be arsed to do her job! To make matters worse, upon collecting our order and returning home, we realised that neither breakfast items had ketchup on them and the mighty McMuffin looked like it had been put together with scraps off of the floor and punched! Terrible service, would not recommend and certainly won’t be returning my custom.

Brilliant McDonald’s location with very friendly staff that are always happy to help. This store gets it right every time and is one of my favourite McDonalds to visit. Car park always has a space available and the toilets are always clean and tidy. Some staff members really go the extra mile for customers. One of the staff members in particular went the extra mile for an elderly gentleman while I was there. Helping him with the self serve screens which he seemed to be struggling with and he looked to appreciate the help.

Why is it always cold and why do they get the order wrong. Breakfast order delivered with no hash brown no juice cold muffin. No use in complaining as the restaurant blame the delivery company and the delivery company blame the restaurant so the customer pays for bad service all round. This is second time we’ve ordered giving them the benefit of the doubt, there wont be a third!!

It never came! The driver rang me asking for the code as macdonalds have cancelled the order. This is over 3 hour after my order was placed… and still haven’t got a refund never using this again.
