Mo's Peri Peri in Braintree

After seeing lots of great reviews of this place, we decided to give it a go. Ordered over the phone, was told 15 minuets it would ready...perfect. Went to collect the order, a dark, no lights premises between another take-away and a off-licence!! Not sure where the friendly staff were that night, mustve been off I guess. Got home with our food, I had half chicken, well mustv'e been the skinniest chicken I've ever seen! Wraps were okay, nice chips and the flavour of the peri peri chicken was lovely. May give it another go in the future when they have spent some money on lighting and fed their chickens a bit more corn.

Oh my goodness, my mouth literally just had the party of its life with this food! I've been wanting to try this for a while now and oh my goodness it did not disappoint! One of my daughters had the 1/4lb cheese burger and she said its the best EVER, and it actually looked like the photos! While I was waiting for our order, I saw some of the other burgers being put together and WOW! The tower burgers look amazing! I wasn't sure what the "plain" chicken would be like, as it says its marinated, so I had to order the chicken nuggets for my autistic daughter who likes it plain. While I was collecting though, I asked about it and they showed me the plain chicken and so I now know I could order a plain chicken burger or strips etc for her to enjoy! Between my husband and I we had a lemon and herb burrito, mango and lime 1/4 chicken, medium buffalo wings, Peri peri fries and spicy rice. Like I said - party in my mouth! It's all sooooooo juicy and tasty! The flavours are insane and all compliment each other. The two mild flavours were so good, with just an ever so slight tingle, and the medium was a really nice hit with the spice, not too hot. This is by far the most tasty, well cooked and presented takeaway I have had for a long time! My husband is a total snob with takeaways and very rarely says anything nice about them, but he REALLY enjoyed it too! Highly recommend this place! Oh, and the staff were super friendly too! Didn't get chance to take photos, but believe me, it looks just like the photos they advertise with!

At last finally found my Go To Burger and Chicken take Away bar. First time tonight ordered from here as recommended by partners daughter. Ordered the Gourmet burger chips onion rings and chicken wings. Came slightly late but definitely worth the wait. All the food has suitably hit fresh and well cooked the best I have had from a take away since moving to witham. All you other take away shops go try Mo’s and learn how to cook and predawn food. Burger was presented in its own clean wrapper no grease. The brioche bun was soft but just right the burger and salad and sauce all lovely chips hot and well Cooked not dry over cooked or wet and greasy onion rings were perfect. The hot chicken wings lovely albeit a tad over cooked but still tasted lovely and enough heat to have to drink Some milk. Overall 9/10 service and price good. Please if you read this and get a need to Order a burgher then call Mo’s, honestly the best in Witham!

The food is always cooked to perfection. Staff are always welcoming and friendly. The premises are always clean.

Great chicken. Proper hot and spicy if that’s what you like and generous portion sizes… would deffo recommend getting your peri peri fix here!

1st time trying Mo’s and honestly it didn’t disappoint! We had the Piri Piri Chicken wrap and it was honestly unreal!! Such good portion sizes and really tasty! Will definitely be ordering again!!! Thank you!

I use Mo’s on a regular basis, I would highly recommend giving them a try, the food is always flawless and it is always ready in quick time, they have a decent amount of options to choose from on the menu and we have tried the majority of them and do not have a bad word to say 10/10

Our daughter put us onto Mos Peri about April this year. It's our go to place for a Friday night take away. Good portions. Freshly prepared. We order over the phone and the phone is prepared after we book it. Tastes like Nandos just better! We particularly enjoyed the family platters. Well done Mo. Your forever customer! Grace.

Fancied something different so decided to try mo’s peri peri chicken. Ordered some peri peri chips , medium hot chicken wings and a chicken fillet burger. Delivered very happy with the delivery service food was outstanding can’t recommend this highly enough you should really try out for your cells made

Just had my delivery from mo’s peri peri and I have to say it was the best chicken I’ve had for a long time. The chicken fillet burger was so tasty and tender and the chicken wings were so succulent. Came piping hot with a good portion of chips enough for 2 . Will definitely be ordering again. Welcome back.
